While she wasn't exactly what I was looking for, she was EXACTLY what I needed to get through my daughter's first birthday. Yvonne and her crew were BEYOND what I envisioned. I miss connecting with Yvonne now, but I know that we'll get together for another party soon. :)

I came to her in September 2019, my wedding was suppose to be June 28th 2020. The INVOICE says non refundable. But due to Covid 19 which was out of my hands and out of hers - she didn't have a heart to give back my deposit. Every other vendor gave back all deposits without even a blink of an eye because Covid was effecting everyone. Covid was an "act of god". When I had a conversation with the owner I was called "hunny" and was belittled and felt she was being condescending. She continued to make remarks such as "time is money sweetie" "let's not get it twisted I'm done here" and states the following: "ok np as ypi said you will not neededing about services by your choice not ours so ypu officially have canceled our non- refundable contract" Canceling the non refundable contract when I was having a conversation about finances and how I don't have any future events planned. She stated I could use the $500 on a future event, but with the hole Covid has put me in even year later I couldn't even fathom spending money on a party when I loose sleep at night how I am going to put food on the table for my children. I shouldn't have to either loose my $500 OR have to spend more money in the future to use up that $500. Even when I have tried to think of another party to use it up i contacted her about using the $500 she wanted me to pay an additional $300 towards a service because her pricing has went up. I have even helped her with projects and crafts for her events in the past. I considered her a crafty knowledgeable friend. In our conversation via text she even went out of her way to put down the projects I have went out of my way for her in the past: Stating: "The t shirts you made the letters fell apart" "No one really cared for for them" She came to me I went to her vise versa.for ideas and crafts. I feel very upset that she couldn't see Covid as an act of god and she keeps referring to her "invoice" that states no refunds applicable on deposit payment". No one asked for Covid or their dream wedding to be canceled in order to keep loved ones safe. I had to accept that my wedding HAD to cancel. I am IN HOPES that Mia Party Creation can come to an agreement.

I got married in October and hired Khadeja due to a friend's recommendation. At first, she was very…read morepolite and kind. After we booked her, however, things went radio silent. She had "other brides" she was tending to, and I understood. However, when my time did come, she dropped the ball on the following tasks: -communicating with my bridal/groom party in a timely and professional fashion -arranging the table numbers (many complaints from guests) -transporting my wedding portrait to the venue without hassling me -family pictures with bride & groom at reception -communicating with respect to stressed out family members (M.O.B & cousins) *and most importantly, failing to hire a back up assistant so she wasn't overwhelmed. Her assistant cancelled last minute, understandable. But this is where professionalism plays a big part. As a person who is not in the industry, even I know it is common sense to have someone on standby for such hiccups. She was accommodating to me when it came to my nerves, however that not the only thing I needed accommodations for. A little tip, a client never wants to see her Coordinator feeling bombarded or flustered. This experience was not worth our money.

This room is big and very comfortably holds the 200+ people in attendance. A very big dance floor with ample room for the DJ and the screen that was set up showing pictures all night. There was a nice size area and they seem to move the guests pretty quickly through the process. The room was also very well lit... Not overpowering and very soft on the eyes. While mirrors on the wall definitely add space, they can be a little challenging to a photographer. After being here a few times, I am happy to say that positioning people is very easy and the size of the room was perfect for big groups. I am sorry that I can't go over each type of food tbat we ate but I will tell you that everything was extremely tasty and well prepared. I wish I could get happier about buffet lines, but I'm just not a fan. It's all about the way you call the tables up to get their food and there is no easy way unless you go table by table. This place is not your standard "Knights of Columbus" hall that I have become used to seeing, this is one big hall. The team here is extremely professional and caring about their guests. The maitre'd is extremely cordial and has helped me a number of times positioning my equipment.
