We hired Teddy's to do my birthday party at our Clubhouse 2 weeks ago, and I cannot rave enough about Teddy's Kitchen Catering. From the start, working with Debbie was amazing, she knew exactly what and how much food to order, and even when I did not feel like it was enough food, she promised me our guests would not go hungry! From the second the staff arrived, they went right to work setting everything up, and really quickly and efficiently. When our guests arrived, the staff, Kristine and Stacy, were all amazing, making sure that I was taken care of, and my 91 year mom, and even my friends with certain food allergies! The food was OUT OF THIS WORLD, and the passed around hors d'oeuvres were huge and did not stop coming around. Then, we had the buffet of food, which was amazing as well, as were the cookies and fruit for dessert! The staff cleaned up amazingly well, and then, we took the leftovers home, and all I can say is that we will be eating them for a long time coming (we froze alot and gave my mom some as well)! Our entire wedding at George Weir Barn was catered by Kitchen Catering and there is no one I would ever recommend based on our experience. They put together a full service cocktail hour with passed and stationary appetizers, ran all bartender and beverage service, set up our tables for a champagne toast, hosted a huge buffet dinner with carving board, provided all of the wait staff, served and decorated our wedding cake, and stayed late to do the tear down of all the tables, chairs, etc. that was leftover from our DIY barn wedding so that myself and my new husband wouldn't have to. Their prices are the absolute best you'll ever find, especially since the quality, portion, and delicious food you will get is top tier. Every single dish was delicious - Debbie even made plates for me and the groom so we actually got a chance to eat at our wedding! The entire wait staff, every single person who worked, were so nice and friendly and courteous to each and every single guest and they worked relentlessly for a full near ten hour day for our wedding's start to finish. On the day of my event they arrived and due to extensive set up, food service time was an hour after I had requested it. We had an amazing experience with Teddy's for our daughter's birthday party. First off, Debbie is a dream to talk to - warm, friendly, helpful, professional, I could go on and on. She made booking and planning the menu for our party extremely easy and enjoyable. On the day of the event, the staff arrived on time and made the entire event run smoothly. Used Teddy's Kitchen Caterers for a Superbowl Party I had this year, and I have to say. We were seriously Satisfied. Not only were they easy to work with in ordering , the delivery was on time and the Food was EXCELLENT. They were having a special which included a 6' hero, 50 Chicken Fingers & 50 wings, to which I added another 50 wings, and to my amazement they got back in touch with me to let me know that I was due an additional 25 wings, as a Bonus!! " How often does that happen???" My guests loved the chicken fingers and the Lemon Pepper style wings were a crowd favorite, and the Hero gave everyone somehing to enjoy later in the game. Had a gift card for this place and wanted to use it so my wife and I placed an order for a half tray of penne ala vodka. We called later in the day and were able to pick it up only an hour or so later. The guy who packaged it up for us was super nice. He gave us a deal and was very pleasant. The food was great. I hired Teddy & Debbie to cater my brunch on April 15th and the entire experience was delightful. The only 2 things that I knew I wanted for sure was a waffle station and an omelette station. They created a sample brunch menu and sent it to me to confirm. It consisted of penne a la vodka, chicken francese with asparagus and roasted peppers, southern fried chicken, French toast, bacon, sausage and more. My guests and I loved the food. The omelette and waffle stations were a big hit. As was the penne a la vodka and tuna pinwheel sandwiches. I was not there when they arrived but I was told how sweet and professional they were. The price was more than reasonable for the 55 guests that the food was prepared for. They even wrapped up some left over food for us to take home after the party was over. I recently used Teddy's Kitchen Catering for my husband's surprise birthday party held in our backyard. I chose the bar-b-cue option. I ordered in person and then later added 3 dishes by phone with the same person who took my order. She also recommended I hire a server along with the grill person so I could "enjoy my party and leave the work up to her staff". I agreed. The day of the party, two men arrived dressed sloppily as if they had stepped off a fishing boat. They were not in any sort of uniform that would signal they worked for Teddy's. The server turned out to be an assistant to the grill chef only. He did not serve my appetizers, clear dirty dishes and glasses, and never stepped foot in my kitchen except to borrow additional tongs, zip-loc bags, etc. The three additional dishes I added to my order with Teddy's catering manager were never included!!! While I was not charged for them, I also used my own food (cheeses, crackers, grapes, crudite, hummus, spinach dip) to substitute for what was not brought. In addition, items I was told were standard, such as a platter of tomatoes and onions were not brought. The watermelon was never cut for serving until I asked for it. When I called the catering manager a few days later to voice my complaints, she asked that I give her a day or two to "do some research". I waited one week and she never called. I called again and she did not even apologize for her error of never adding my additional dishes to the invoice which is what the kitchen works from when prepping the order. She did not own her error and called it a miscommunication! She did acknowledge that the physical appearance of her staff who serve and how they dress is an ongoing problem. We had a discussion as to the role of the server and that I was kept in my kitchen doing what the server should have done. She finally offered to offset my cost for the server by refunding $100. I thanked her for the gesture. The very next day, she called back and said the owner refused to give me the refund. When I protested, she hung up on me. I felt disrespected, lied to and treated in a totally unprofessional manner. The only positive comment I can make is that the food was good...ribs were excellent! I even told the manager I would not hesitate to use them again, but would be very watchful of the mistakes made this time. I would be sure to confirm the whole order the day before the event and would hire my own server. I would also insist the staff be dressed appropriately. Their appearance was an embarrassment. If I owned Teddy's I would want the employees representing my business to do so in a professional manner. Once I was hung up on, good ribs or not, I would never hire them again. read more

I tried them because I had attended two parties they catered in the past and thought the food and staff were both great. There had been a small issue with the second party, but I was impressed with the way they handled it, so I went ahead and used them for my son's Eagle Scout Court of Honor. We ordered a combination of cold food (heroes and salads) and hot food (two trays). Pros: Debbie was great to work with. We went over the menu and I told her what we wanted. She didn't try to upsell me, and she was very accommodating. The heroes were excellent, and so was the Chicken Francese. We received several compliments on the food. Cons: The salads and baked ziti were just okay. The food was supposed to be delivered before the ceremony started, but the driver got lost. If it hadn't been for my friend who volunteered to help me with the night, I would have missed half of my son's ceremony and delayed the rest of it. It took several phone calls to straighten everything out. This probably wouldn't have been as big of an issue if it was just a casual party at my home, but it was the reception immediately following a ceremony. There was no flexibility in terms of timing, and I was not in a position to take multiple phone calls from the driver to give him directions. The take-away: They were very apologetic when my girlfriend called them to complain the next day. They said they would make sure to take extra care the next time we ordered. We used this company for our Thanksgiving Day Dinner and found it through an email notification from Crossroads Restaurant which closed saying that they did catering. Since we loved the food @ Crossroads and the food served at different events they sponsored I called to have our dinner catered by them. When I called I found out that this was not 'Crossroads" but that the Chef (and owner) was also an owner of Crossroads so I placed the order anyway. THE DINNER WAS DELICIOUS! As close to "home made" as you could get! When ordering I must say that Debbie was an "excellent" customer service person - patient & answered all questions I had and made "adaptations" to some of the items offered with wonderful replacement ideas. My family & I were so impressed with the dinner, I made a point to call the next day to speak to Debbie and got the owner/chef instead and thank him for the wonderful dinner we had, the great job Debbie did and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND their service to all.
