We decide instead of catering our daughters graduation party we would incorporate a BBQ theme and we were so glad we found Sal. Sal and Theresa made the party. They showed up early Saturday morning for a 3 pm start. To begin they transformed our backyard into a catering hall. They brought everything needed for a party and all high end from beautiful table cloths to elegant chafing dishes. Now to the food. Every single choice we made was just perfect. The burgers were extremely tasty and all handmade. The flat iron steak was melt in your mouth as was the chicken kabobs but the ultimate surprise was the brisket. It was tender and melted in my mouth. Every one of our guests had a positive word to say. He had a large selection of sides and all our choice were great. ( my favorite was the Mexican street corn and the Mac-n-cheese) To end there was a choice of homemade deserts, we chose the carrot cake. Another perfect choice. The best part is they do it all, from set up to break down and leave the setting better then when they arrived. Where do I even begin? Sal and Thresa were amazing! My daughter's engagement party was a hit!! First of all, Sal & Theresa arrived at my home hours prior to the start time of the event to set up. They exude professionalism at its best. The set up was wonderful and the display of the food was perfection. As soon as my guests arrived, they were ready to get down on the food. From the variety of bbq chicken, ribs, side dishes, salads, mac and cheese, vegetables, and the taco fish, which by the way was an absolute hit, to the desserts and homemade drinks, I could not have been happier and pleased. The food was sooo good! Not only that, due to the unfortunate passing of my mother the same week of my daughter's engagement party, and as a last-minute request, Sal catered my mother's Repast after her funeral. My family and I are forever grateful for Sal and Theresa for going above and beyond the call of duty to prepare a great service for us. We hired Big Mitchell's Pit BBQ to cater an outdoor family picnic for our organization for 130 guests, including children. From the beginning, Sal and Theresa were amazing to work with. They helped us design the menu, provided the necessary insurance paperwork in a timely manner, and proactively communicated throughout the entire process. The day of the event, they arrived early, got set up, and got to work. Now, for the most important part: THE FOOD! It was amazing! Every single guest raved about it, from the yummy mac and cheese, crispy onion rings, to the tender and delicious BBQ chicken. They also served refreshing watermelon and the most delicious chocolate chip cookies I've ever had. The package also included an assortment of soft drinks and water, utensils, napkins etc. As the host of the event, I was grateful to not have to worry about this very important aspect. Let me tell ya something, alriiiiiiiite this man can throw it down like no other. When I tell y'all his food will have your stomach feeling amazing . From the bbq chicken to the Parmesan Mexican grilled corn to the broccoli salad (which by the way he refuses to give anyone the special recipe so don't even waste your time asking okuurrrrrrr) and boyyyyy them fish tacos he makes will turn you into a seafood lover!!!!
