My family decided three days before Passover that since I was Covid vaccinated they would come for the holiday. In a panic I called. Elegant Dining. Orders had to have been in by the Friday before so I asked Neil (actually begged) if he could possibly do anything for me. There is a fixed Passover. menu and as luck would have it, there was an extra order placed. What a life saver! This was my first time using Elegant Eating and I couldn't be happier with everything we chose. We mostly wanted finger foods for our Halloween party along with some mini sandwiches and a chicken platter. Myra was very helpful with recommendations and sent me photos and pricing as needed. Where to start... I used Elegant Eating catering for my fiancée 50th Birthday Party. I had a house party of roughly 30 people. Neil helped me pick out a fantastic assortment of different foods. Chef Roberto and Linda came to Serve and help with the party. When Neil stated that I can just be a guest at my party and not have to worry about a thing well he was right on. Linda is AMAZING. She went ABOVE and BEYOND serving my guests, she took their coats, made them drinks.. She was extremely friendly and professional!! Elegant eating, always a superb caterer - I've used them for more than 10 years. Last week we had my daughter's bridal shower at their site complete with a cooking lesson from Myra and Chef Pete. We all loved the lesson, had a ball preparing the food and then sat down to an exquisitely decorated table for a beautiful plated 4 course dinner and the bridal party still held forth with traditional shower activities. Catered my older sisters engagement party and my college graduation party. The staff is fantastic - everyone is so helpful and warm and personable. When my mom first went to check out the place she spent two hours just talking food. Most of my family is gluten intolerant and so it was a huge comfort knowing that key staff members have family also dealing with celiac. No one has ever been sick when we've used elegant eating. The food was also amazing. Elegant eating has a large garden on the property that some of the food is made from which makes everything taste incredibly fresh. They have perfected the small appetizer plates and presentation is fantastic. We ordered extra food and still the leftovers went by the next day so we wound up ordering more. Used Elegant Eating for my graduation party. Since it was for my getting my doctorate we wanted something a little more sophisticated. My wife and I were so happy we chose Elegant Eating. · Such a disappointment!!! They screwed up on almost everything! Shrimptinis were not served because they didn't supply the small cups! I had to send someone out to buy little shot glasses in the middle of my party! The Pot sticker dumplings were supposed to be presented individually on a display spoon but they forgot to provide the spoons! I asked them to add some lettuce to the Arugula salad but they DID NOT! $100 worth of arugula with barely any pecans or red peppers in it. The bacon wrapped scallops were covered in red BBQ sauce...people didn't even know what it was! The tenderloin crispini had a very thin slice of "roast beef" on it. I could have bought thicker beef from the deli. They also didn't tell you they don't supply serving trays...you better have some if you are serving 40+ guests!! TOTAL FALSE ADVERTISING ! The only good thing that they recommended was the Servers from Immaculate Reception! All they had to say was "I am So Sorry for the human errors...we can give you a $25 credit on your next order"...over my dead body!! read more
