However, when I entered the business I was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful decor. The event venue is decent in size, there were seven tables on the floor which included the cake and food tables. There were extra seating alongside a wall near the DJ. I was here to celebrate my cousin's 16th birthday in which she chose to have an elegant dinner and the beautiful decor reflected her theme perfectly. I enjoyed the celebration at Royal Events Party Hall.

I had an unpleasant time working with this place. On 11-2-24 I booked this place from 5:45pm-11pm…read more $1,600 later and an added on $250 for security deposit. Im walking away with $80 back from my deposit because of a small amount of confetti that me and my people were cleaning because Bryanna said we had to clean so we stayed till after 11 cleaning not partying no music playing anyone sweeping and throwing things away. Bryanna said leave it we will take care of the rest. I woke up the next day to an email requesting $170 for staying past 11pm to clean up after they told us too and $60 fee to clean confetti. They really played games with me. Bryanna came to me on more than 1 occasion while my party was going on and not once did she saying anything about the confetti or that after 11 we in the building we will be charged. They made us stay later to charge us $110 for over time. This scamming ass place needs to be stopped. I asked 5 times were we good before we left and Bryanna said yes. Moral of the story if it seems to good to be true it is. How the hell clean up not apart of $1850 SMH Don't let them get over on you !!!!

Have been here a few times for different parties/receptions. The decor is a little to very dated…read moreand the staff are a little underwhelming but it seems to be a popular venue nonetheless. I'm guessing that's because their catering prices must be very reasonable. Plus. they do have a decent-sized parking lot. As for the food, it's decent (not a resounding endorsement, I know). I wouldn't classify it as high-end or anything but most items are nicely prepared and pretty filling (buffet). Last weekend, we were here a reception and a few of tiles on the floor of the large hall on the main level were loose. One tile at the tail end of the buffet line was so bad that when several guests - including me - stepped on it, it would tilt upward and cause you to lose your balance a little. Someone pointed it out to the staff but I don't think they did or could fix it right then and there. I did also notice that some of the table covers were a little dirty. Not what you want to see when you're attending a semi-formal occasion. I don't think it's unreasonable to expect clean/white linens, especially when it's for a special occasion. At the buffet, the only silverware they had out were forks. I know most of the items are easily edible with just a fork but when you have items such as (very) bony goat curry, a knife would help get some of that meat off. I'm sure some folks - especially those with small kids - could have also used a spoon. I'm not trying to nitpick but I found it odd that you can't at least have the option of multiple utensils. I wouldn't rush here for a meal but wouldn't decline coming for another such gathering in the future.

When you are having these types of events the only people remember are the entertainment and the food. Steel did not disappoint. The food was phenomenal and MC Ricky was absolutely incredible. Just book MC Ricky don't think about it just do it. Every person was on the dance floor. The vibe in the room was so much fun! The decorations and decor were perfect. Richie was a pleasure to do business with and his staff was more then accommodating and went out of their way to make sure our guest with food allergies were taken care of. We also wound up having to have our service there prior to the party and he was able to turn our idea into reality making the space feel more appropriate for that part of the event. Which turned into a blessing in disguise as the party was on the minute the service concluded. The stress free transition made everyone truly enjoy the party. The added bonus of the all inclusive (except the swag) meant the overall cost was less and zero headaches as there were no vendors to have coordinate with. Forget about the traditional sit down catering halls. With the cocktail style dinner service the party never had to stop so you could eat. Out party could not have gone any smoother and most important everyone had a great time.
