I've been at tango many times before and today I went to find a different place there! very nice decorated with tables outside and valet parking, very nice! we went inside and sat on beautiful red chairs and proceed to order. The parrillada for two took about 20 minutes to come, in the meantime I asked if we can have some bread and we were told that is not like before, they're charging for it, it's ok I said, bring it please, food came and it was good but we were not at ease anymore, not only for the bread but because I think there was like 6 customers in the place and there was about 10 employees, service should be a lot better, a lot. so, to resume, a I have nicer place but not too good service, not an improvement in that. I went here twice during COVID (unfortunately) and I ate outside, everything is clean and really nice, good music, restaurant staff really good, kind and they really care about the social distancing, wearing mask and the gloves, So let's talk about now the main course, The food is pretty good, the meat is tasty and cook good, the presentation of the plate is good and clean. Been meaning to try this place for a while, came for a friend's birthday. Ambience isn't great. The parking tight. The decor a bit shabby, and the lighting poor. And the service was a bit lagging. The food, however, did impress. The complimentary bread with chimmichurri is great start. Had the Entrana (Skirt Steak). It came out quickly, and was generous. It could have been a bit more tender, but was very flavorful. I would opt for the mashed potatoes as the side. Best side of the ones I tried. For desert we had the dulce de leche pancake. Called the restaurant to make it right, guess what they do...they just refunded the tip from the driver...thats the restaurant...Never order from here... We went there to celebrate my birthday, I have to say this place is one of those that you know is not fancy but the food is delicious, We got the Argentinan Parrillada, It says is for two, but you can definitely feed 3 adults really good. This place was my go to, it has fallen off big time. The food is ok other than the lava cake which had zero "lava". The service is where this place has really fallen off, the waitress has failed to deliver every time I've gone. This last time we were seated and waited like 20 minutes before I had to ask for someone to attend us. Then no bread our main course came first then she brought our appetizer and bread. The drinks were good and the calamari was good too the lava cake was horrible and they didn't have coffee to make espresso. It's not worth dropping $160 for two people and receive horrible service. The hostess Samantha was very welcoming .To start off we began with the cocktail where we got the spicy Mami and tango margarita as well as the Argentinian empanadas we decided to get all 3 flavors which were beef , spinach and Montego cheese, and chicken . First, we asked for a Lychee martini, we were served Coconut Lychee Martini so we asked them to take it back without touching it since we are both allergic to coconut. Got a calamari appetizer, it was not fresh and had an odd taste. Ordered 3 burgers well done, 2 were rare. My son ate almost half of his before noticing. A friend sent hers back and asked to be cooked more. The burger was brought out at the same time the check came. Some of Parrillada meat was not cooked fully which is dangerous considering the variation of meats (poultry, beef, and pork) now we are all sick with stomach pains and throwing up. I walked in to see if there was a wait for the 4 of us on Saturday at 7pm, and the hostess asked if we had a reservation (no we didn't), and then told us to give her 5 minutes so she could clean a table that a family was leaving. Marcela the matriarch and chef is a fantastic cook, she makes everything so delicious from the blood sausages that taste like butter to the steaks that are so juicy and tender. They have a private lot in the back that fits about a dozen cars. The smell of meat from someone's table hit as soon as we got in (a definite good sign.) We got the provoloneta appetizer, which was a cheese (I assume provolone) melting in a small cast iron skillet topped with tomato and parsley. Mild, creamy, with crispy burnt ends. Delish! Their chicken soup was also very good. We shared the parillada, which comes with chicken breast, skirt steak, beef short ribs, sweetbreads, chorizo, intestine ( be open minded. It's GOOD!), and blood sausage. You get two sides of your choice. Everything was delicious. For dessert we had panqueque de dulce de leche, which is a crepe with caramel served with ice cream and whipped cream. From start to finish every course was a success. Our waiter, David, was welcoming, friendly, and attentive. Overall, a great experience. I definitely look forward to returning. If you've been, I'm sure you've already been back. Friends and I went here to enjoy some Argentinean food. We made a reservation on a Friday evening. We enjoyed the food and dessert - good portions and everything was tasty. Service was friendly and on point. The only disappointment of the evening was that we felt rushed. My friend was still eating and they started collecting plates. Shortly after the dessert menu arrived and then the check. Additionally when we were leaving, one of our cars got blocked in (their parking lot is tiny) and we had to go back inside the restaurant to locate the car that was blocking us in. If they resolve this issue that would be great! I will not go back for dinner, only for lunch when hopefully they are not as busy. Walked in around 9pm on a Saturday night and they were packed with large parties but still a handful of tables available. Everyone was busy so we waited by the doorway to be seated. A couple who walked in 5 min after us got seated before us. They did say something in Spanish. Do I need the secret password to be let in? My churrasco was seasoned well and juicy and I opted for a beet salad side which consisted of boiled beets and an egg. My man's rib eye on the other hand lacked seasoning and was overcooked. Wrapped his steak to go to repair for steak and eggs in the am and we split my churrasco. After the doorway incident, service was eager to please, friendly and attentive.
