Coffee-based mocktails (old fashioned and paloma!)
    Sherry C.

This is the coolest thing you can do in LA right now. Welcome to Tangible Gratitude, a 4-course coffee omakase with sweet treats to go with every pairing. I've never experienced anything like it and this was such a wonderful deep dive into the world of coffee. From pourovers to hybrid brews to the most delectable coffee mocktails to finish, the attention to detail is immaculate. This is truly taking your everyday cup of coffee to the next level. Would you try this? Thanks for reading! ^-^

The coffee experience I had here was wonderful experience. It was multiple courses of coffee with thought provoking conversations. I'm usually always on the go and it was really nice to slow down for a little bit. The mocktail was my favorite drink!

I wasn't sure what to expect stepping into the omakase experience but it was absolutely wonderful. Victors attention to detail, passion, and thoughtfulness really came through in the entire experience. It was a very intimate setting that encouraged talking to other guests and I ended up really connecting with some others that had come solo as well. Definitely would be a great experience for anyone looking to deepen their knowledge of coffee or see a different side (milk brew whaaat??) of what can be done with coffee. I'm looking forward to attending a Sunday open session at some point since the omakase experience was so wonderful. Bonus is parking was very easy and free.

Victor created an intimate coffee experience that opened my eyes to how I perceive coffee through a myriad of techniques, presentations, and anecdotes. Overall finding gratitude for the small day to day complexities I tend to overlook. The few close seats, similar to a small Omakase sushi bar, established a space fit for Victor to explain each course in depth, fostering sprinkles of curious conversations with everyone regarding each course and their personal interpretations. As of this review the experience was around 1-1.5 hours long, 4 beverages with palette cleansing water, 6 stool style seats, relaxing ambient music, and pleasantly cool temperature atmosphere.

What. an experience. A unique coffee service. Each of the 4 courses was completely different, each as new and interesting as the previous. Victor created an environment quite like a zen garden . Very relaxing, but also entertaining and exciting. I was so sad when it ended. Love how coffee was a conduit for his underlying theme of tangible gratitude.

    The start of the experience

I honestly didn't know coffee could be experienced this way. Each drink was so unique, served over 4 'courses'. Viktor provided explanations for each course - I loved how creative & unique each coffee was. The environment was so conducive to be able to feel presence, gratitude, and community through the tasting. The best coffee experience I've had. Highly recommend for any coffee lover.

This is not your normal tasting! I came in with no expectations and was completely blown away. This experience put together by Victor paints coffee in a completely different light. With a fun, introspective twist relating it into gratitude. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone, coffee enthusiast or not. Check out some of the cool photos below!

    Is this place dog friendly?

    Unfortunately, not at the moment.

Does anyone know if the coffee with milk portion has a non dairy option?

I believe so. My friend is lactose intolerant.

COME HERE IF YOU LOVE SPECIALTY COFFEE…read more DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU LOOK FOR: PRETTY LOOKING/LAYERED SUGAR BOMB DRINKS (nothing wrong with that though! Just wanting to help with expectations if you've never been here.) This place serves purely traditional coffee. I'm new to living in this area in LA (I come from Orange County) and have been trying to visit the coffee shops out here. So far, this is THE BEST from what I've tried so far in terms of specialty coffee. (I don't have a long list that I've visited yet) It's quite refreshing actually, to see a coffee shop that's PURELY specialty coffee. No frills or thrills, just traditional basics done well. Decor is great. I tried the emerald series espresso as a flat white (two of them) which is marketed as rare and exotic. I didn't want to read much too much into it at the moment. I was just wanting my caffeine fix. Both together came out to around $17 (oof!) They at least handed us 2 oz samples of coffee. Presentation of the drinks were done well. You can tell that they really care about the craft because we were waiting unnecessarily long on a slow day. I over heard a 'How did that pull?' while waiting. I appreciate the care.

Service was great, everyone was kind and quick to help me with my order, I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. Tot Cream Top Latte with almond milk is good! Oh Tot! How I think of tater tots, but this is not that kind of tot!…read more Anywho, coffee review #727362728 I came in close to an hour of closing and they got a little busy after I ordered. I tried their tot cream latte & their "feels like home", both iced. If you order for enjoying in shop, they give you a cute cup with a saucer & spoon. They don't put that much ice which I appreciate. The coffee is still cold! The tot cream latte is on the sweeter side, but it is extremely good. I like the flavor of the coffee, although the sweetness kind of takes away from the coffee shining through. It's good for people that like coffee but not the acidic taste from it. The feels like home is strong. That bean? Phew. Got muscles, it's strong. Very subtle sweetness. Beautiful bean flavor. Cream top is yummy. I would def order again. I appreciate them not having burnt or acidic/sour tasting espresso. That's been a common trend in coffee shops as of late D: Ambiance is nice, it's small inside & no AC so they have a fan with the door cracked open wide but still gets stuffy inside. I believe they do have WiFi don't quote me, you'll have to fact check that one. But there were people there on their laptops so I wanna assume yes.. Service was quick and standard amongst the baristas. Parking in the plaza is small otherwise there is an underground garage. There was a notice of filming or photography sign I didn't bother reading and forgot to take a picture of but it's on the glass when you go up to order.

I got there close to 6pm and everyone was so nice. The lady that took my order was friendly and welcoming. I got their Mango Sticky Matcha. It was pretty interesting. Loved that it has a rich matcha flavor and mango sticky flavor didn't overpower the drink. If anything, it complimented well with the matcha. I love it and would absolutely order it again. Unfortunately, they didn't have any pastries left other than a couple bagels. I wanted to try their croissants but maybe next time when I'm in the area again. The place is super clean and organized. They have a wifi, an outlet, a couple tables for single or multiple customers as well as comfy couches. The restroom was also clean and smells great. Highly recommend this place. Not only was I able to complete so many tasks but was also able to just relax. Loved the vibe here!

I ordered their summer special, the HK Matcha Latte, made with matcha, milk, brown sugar, and of course grass jelly. It was smooth, refreshing, and the perfect drink for a warm day. My husband customized his own fruit-infused tea with lychee jelly and salted cold foam, and he really enjoyed his combination as well. The shop has a handful of small tables and seats, and we got to relax and enjoy our drinks. Keep in mind that the tables are on the smaller side. If you're planning to work or study there, you'll probably only have enough room for a laptop and not much else. Overall, it's a great addition to our boba rotation.
