I had dinner at this restaurant and the food was spoiled. They changed the food, but there was no apology and no explanation. And the meat was in a state of decay as if it were old. It was a very unpleasant experience. read more

First and last time I will be coming here. Food was bland and tasteless, service was below decent and cleanliness was questionable. We ordered the soondae jiggae, soondae, bossam and the pork bone potato soup. Soondae jiggae had no flavor and had to add a bunch of things and turn it into something else to even make it worth eating. Soondae was just meh and we ended up trashing most of it. Bossam was just ok and had some strong flavors that I am not use to this dish having that ruined it for me, not exactly sure what but not good in my opinion. Pork bone soup was the best out of the group but that's not saying much. The soup tasted like they ran out of broth so they just put more water in it, and the meat was trash all fat and no actual meat. On top of all that the side dishes were not good and questionable color and consistency throughout all of them. Rice was super hard and staff said that's how it it's supposed to be. Lastly flies all over the place and dead ones all over. read more

Lady told me to hurry up and order when I had questions about the menu. How can I order if I don't know what I'm getting in my order. Rude.

Food is alright. They have a decent variety of soups that are meant to be comfort food. Their customer service is seriously lacking though... I would think for being a new business located in Amerige catering to upper middle class Asians they'd have prioritized "customer is right" a little more. My mom and my 1-year old son were with me, things were a little hectic getting him settled so we didn't have a chance to look at the menu. The waitress came by and we discussed the options verbally. Ended up ordering soondae guk and galbitang with the server knowing it's our first time there. When it came out, the soondae guk was not what we had in mind, it had a bunch of other meat in there and very little soondae. When we called over the waitress, she said that there were other options available on the menu if we only wanted soondae and that we should've seen it on the menu. We explained it was a little crazy and we had our orders taken verbally but the waitress was not convinced, she said there was nothing that she could do and she just turned around and left. After that no waitress ever came by during the rest of the meal with offers to refill water or to check up on us. When they came by to drop off the check, they asked how it was and we said we had a bad experience, but upon hearing that she didn't say a word and just turned around again and left. Needless to say we didn't leave a tip. This reminds me of Korean restaurants be about 10 or 15 years ago where it was very traditional and customers didn't really have a choice. Better shape up. read more

Since the ownership has been changed, it does not taste the same. It had almost no flavor so I had to put other ingredients to make it better. I'm so disappointed the fact that I lost another soon dae soup place. read more

I ordered soondae soup and kalbee tang expecting. It was the worst food I have ever ate. Soondae soup is very cold. Meat is half cooked or freezing cold. The rice is half cooked. Everything doesn't taste good at all. I wish I would just buy sondae from HK market and microwave heat it. It would be much better. Service is not accomodating for pickup. They don't pay attento to customer. I ordereed three but i can est only side soondae. I would not go there or order again. read more

Worst customer service place ever. The owner had a nasty attitude towards me and my friends. She looked uninterested, not friendly, and was just rude. Food was mediocre, soondae kind of smelled funny, it almost made me want to vomit. Rest of the food was just average, nothing special. I'd rather go to the restaurant next door in this plaza. Don't waste your time and money in this store, it's just not worth your money. read more

Tang was one of my favorite Korean restaurants. But it became the worst today. Chopsticks have fungi and the chili has gone bad. Ewwwww read more

Food was okay but customer service was really bad. I called them in advance to check whether we can dine in on late arrival. Lady was somewhat rude saying we should arrive and place all orders no later than 9:25. Closing time is 10pm, so understandable. We got there 9:17pm. She still gave us such a bad attitude. She brought checks even before all of our orders came out and asked us to pay. We weren't going to take long time to pass their closing time anyway but we had to pack up and got out there at 9:42pm. Never going back there again! read more

regardless of hurtles and obstacles they have gone through, business sustains and still very effective til today.... The place is called Tang...!!! Korean word for the any soup based dishes......!!! Tang... (sound like gun shot).... Well, it is the authentic Korean Pork Soup place, most dishes are based on pork meat base.... They are well known for soon dae kook and dwae gee kook... soondaekook is crystal noodle called dangmyun that is stuff into the pork intestine very similar to frank hot dogs..... // dwae gee kook means literally, the meaning pork soup in Korea....!!! This type of dishes were originally introduced to areas in Pusan, 2nd largest city in Korea well known for their international trade and film festival and all.... During Korean War, when Chinese and North Korea with their community military power pushed all the way to the farthest to the sound line U.N. and U.S. military came into the Incheon code name 'Chromite' and save the county for the sake of democracy. !!!! during those time, lots of refugees and war ruins were usual seen around the country and this dish was introduced and well favored by ordinary people like you and me...... It is very strange this type of food is introduced and favored by many Koreans in city of Fullerton, from many thousands and thousands miles away and it is placed right here in the heart of TC...!!!!! Just come and enjoy this amazing food...!!! This is really good for your anemia, nervous breakdown, poor liver function problems, hepatitis, night blindness, and preventing vision loss cles they have gone through read more

Like spicy pork belly soup. Tjeir soup is pretty good and worth for the menu. Hope their business keep doig in this situation.

Heard they just changed name/ownership and kept moobongri's recipe (Thank God). Only place I go for soondaegook. You can substitute meat for more soondae if requested. read more

Love Love Love their soondae guk. I love Soondae generally but their soondae guk is another level. it's best soondae guk in the town. they were originally Moobongri soondae guk. then changed their name to Tang after their license of the name moobongri soondae got expired. But their quality is still as same as moobongri. read more

Amazing food which reminds me of authentic Korean soup but me and my friend went to the restaurant last week after work to have some sundaegook. Due to pandemic, restaurants literally just started doing in door services and I wasnt still feeling comfortable sitting inside so I asked a server if it would be okay to sit outside and as soon as I asked, she started complaining to me its too much walking for her to serve us and she said if we dont sit inside, she wont be able to serve us. I was kind of shocked when I heard that but I still insisted to sit outside and she said yes. As I was waiting for my friend, same server came by with a wrong attitude which made me feel guilty and uncomfortable. I didnt even ask her name because she looked like my parent's age so I just tried to understand, maybe they are having a bad day. As our meal was served, we found out that within my friend's soup, we found a fish bone within soondaegook which doesnt make sense and we asked another server but she seemed careless. We asked for apology but she didnt apologize initially until we expressed how unprofessional they are for overall service today. I hope not only the servers but the restaurant owner or the manager reads this and educate your own servers to serve everyone with right attitude. Anyone can have a bad day but it cannot influence others especially when they come to pay and eat to get served. Overall, very disappointing today and I will never visit this place again. There are many other Korean restaurants in the area who may appreciate customers with the right attitude. read more

This spot has authentic soup and portions are unmatched! The side dishes are very tasty and overall a solid restaurant.

Maybe I just have to stick with their best seller - spicy soondae soup because everything else I tried were so-so. I really tried to like this joint but maybe my food pallet just isn't dialed in for this restaurant. read more

Don't come to this EXTREMELY RUDE and Disrespectful of a place. Bad vibes were already prevalent the minute I stepped foot. I would assume the owners want your business but whoever the cash register lady is has no respect or manners. She was taking deep breaths and signs as if I was a nuisance to her. If you're that angry with your life or job find a new one. If you guys want to belittled by a short Korean speaking lady who thinks she is better than you because she works in the food industry, you better think twice before coming here. I WILL NEVER come to this establishment to eat again. read more

Bulgogi was disappointing quality of meat was quite bad. I get better bulgogi from senior center catered food. Gamjatang was ok but again the chunk of meat was mostly all bone. Please consider the raw ingredients you are putting in your food. read more

Spicy Soondaegook is bomb. Gamja tang is ehh. Get the spicy soondaegook it's way better than anything else on the menu

Really sad to see the negative reviews. This place was so good and authentic! The staff were so sweet and attentive to everyone in there. All the customers were enjoying their food and the atmosphere. Also, the yukgaejang got out to me so fast and it was so delicious! So I think if you are not Korean and have no idea about real Korean food you shouldn't leave reviews cause this place was awesome! read more

I have been trying to support local businesses and decided to visit this place to order some take out. I walk in and placed my order. One minute hadn't even passed and I saw another menu item I wanted instead. I politely asked to change my order and was stunned by a big NO. Not just one NO, i asked 5 times politely! Only to be greeted with a big fat NO each time. I then dared ask why I couldn't change my order that I had placed 30 seconds ago and the rude lady said "the gas is already on". So apparently at this restaurant once the chef turns on the stove ....it doesnt matter if u placed ur order 10 seconds ago, 5 seconds ago, or even 1 second ago. Once that stove is ON you cant change your order. I am simply stunned from this experience. Not even mad...just simply shocked at how I was treated and given a fake excuse as to why I couldn't change my order. So boys an girls once you hear that stove running on in the back BE sure the order you are about to place is exactly what you want. Side note I always visit this restaurant and the waitress and staff are super nice. I have never seen these individuals working before so I assume they are the owners... I visited on 4/30 around 5pm, just incase u want to come here still and avoid the people i had to deal with. read more

Wow not only was the food bad, but the service was even worse. We placed a takeout order and they forgot the soon dae in the soon dae gook so we basically just got a container of soup. I called and they asked us to come back for the soon dae. I told them we wouldn't be coming back and would just like a refund. The lady on the phone kept laughing and told me I wouldn't be able to get a refund. She said to come back next time and she'll give us extra soon dae. Just wow. P.S. the food at Hansang on Beach Blvd. is WAY better and obviously so is the service. read more

I ordered their galbi soup, gamja tang, soondae and steamed pork meat. The only "good" food was galbi soup and even that was salty. As for the rest, quality was horrible; soondae tasted like packaged ones from market, jamja tang was blend and steamed pork meat smelled. Heavily over priced for what it's worth. FYI, kimchi and radish kimchi was beyond horrible; we threw them out. Any korean restaurant that cannot make kimchi, the basic of the basic korean food, is not worth a try. Will never eat there again. read more

My favorite every day Korean meal. There are many good ones near here and this is one of the top level.

Previously known as Moo Bing Ri, but for some strange reason, the place was renamed to Tang. Same owner, same workers, same menu, and I can not tell of any recipe changes, which is a good thing. This is my family's go to place and I hope that this place will stay in business here for a long time. read more

I've lived in Korea for nearly 9 years and during the wintertime soondae soup was my go to food. It is hard finding good spots that reminds me of Korea, but this place definitely does a good job. Their spicy soondae soup was delicious and they give your more than a couple pieces of soondae. Service was also excellent. read more

Best soondaeguk around! Also as a Korean, their kimchi is one if the best i've tasted

Awesome. This IS the authentic Korean food. One of the best Korean tang places I've been to.
