But Tailoring Studio & Alterations was able to get my bridal dress alterations within 3 weeks! And they did such an amazing job!!! I chose Tailoring Studio & Alterations because I could tell from their photos that they do quality work and have a lot of experience with wedding dresses--and I am so glad that I did! I needed my dress shortened in the front and an American bustle, cups, and nude liner added. Not only did they get everything done in time, Ala also redid my straps using some of the extra fabric and added hooks and eyes to give me more support. I have a vintage cardigan that is the same as the one used in the Twilight movie prom scene that needed to be altered to look exactly how it did on Kristen Stewart. I was worried I wouldn't be able to find someone skilled enough at working with vintage knitwear. I came across this place while searching for a master tailor nearby. The first time I had Ala alter my cardigan, I was too scared to have her make it shorter and take the arms in. She did exactly what I asked. But I knew once she had my trust that I could trust her to redo it again exactly to my liking. The second time she altered it there was a bit of a hiccup when I came to pick it up. It wasn't done in time and somehow it didn't get communicated to me properly. They knew they made an error somewhere. Ala made it a point to finish my cardigan that same day and also delivered to my home to me personally! Not only do they have incredible customer service, but Ala is literally a miracle worker when it comes to doing master tailoring! Such a hidden gem in West Park! I needed my new wide jeans shortened with original hem so I called a couple different alteration places before I called Tailoring Studio & Alterations. Pricing was great and the turn around was exponentially faster than the first two I called. They said 1 week and Catherine had it done in hours.
