But for a brand new, gasp inducing Panerai, there is nothing like the boutique. My visit was to check out the band selections, and there are a zillion, which Ms. Huang was only too happy to bring out. Having selected a bright orange rubber model ($240), Ms. Huang grabbed her loupe and went about extracting the teeny-tiny screws that hold it all together. My recommendation, don't try this at home. One sneeze and you'll be crying your head off, looking for that screw. Pricey band yes, but includes expert installation and the Acqua Panna. My watch is so beautiful, I've stopped looking at my phone to get the time. When I'm ready for a new model, you will find me here. Put away your Rolex and head straight to Panerai.

They advertised a Rolex on eBay for approximately $27,000. I submitted an offer of $21,000 through eBay. When I received no response, I called the company directly. During that call, I was told that BEFORE they would answer my questions or provide information about the watch, I needed to pay a $200 deposit through their website to prove I was a serious buyer. I followed their instructions and paid the $200. They accepted my money and sent me a receipt. ONLY AFTER THEY RECEIVED MY $200, I was told they could not provide me the watch at the advertised price. Instead, they attempted to offer me a completely different watch at a substantially higher price. What happened next was even more concerning. The original watch remained listed on eBay, except the asking price was changed from approximately $27,000 to $33,999. I was then blocked by the seller from submitting bids or offers on eBay. I have screenshots documenting the $33,999 listing and the eBay message stating, "The seller isn't accepting bids or offers from you." I requested an immediate refund of my $200 because I paid that money specifically after being told it was required before they would discuss the advertised watch with me. My refund requests have gone unanswered, and as of the date of this review, MY $200 HAS NOT BEEN RETURNED. To be clear, my complaint is not that the seller rejected my $21,000 offer. A seller has every right to reject an offer. My complaint is that I was instructed to PAY $200 before they would discuss the advertised watch with me. They accepted my money. Only afterward did they tell me they would not provide that watch at the advertised price and tried to substitute a different watch. The original watch was then listed for $33,999, I was blocked from making further offers, and my $200 has still not been refunded. I can document every material part of my experience. Before sending this company a deposit, I strongly recommend getting IN WRITING exactly what the deposit is for, whether it is refundable, confirmation that the specific watch being advertised is actually available at the advertised price, and what happens to your money if the seller does not proceed with that watch. I WOULD NOT SEND THIS COMPANY ANOTHER DOLLAR. I am simply asking for the return of the $200 they required me to pay. The "technician" came out of the back room and essentially told me the same thing. I told the store no thanks, and they basically gave me attitude to the effect of, "Well, good luck." The manager was also giving me attitude that I didn't buy the watch from them, and that I should consider them for my next purchase, etc. Eye-rolling stuff. Anyway, a week later I brought the watch to the Omega Boutique at South Coast and the technician had the bracelet disassembled and rebuilt in 10 minutes flat. When I asked how much I owed for the repair, he said, "No charge at all sir!" So there you go. Unethical business practices at Swiss Watch Gallery of Mission Viejo. They tried to rip me off but now all they got for their trouble was a bad one star review and my promise never to step foot in their store again. If you're considering a luxury watch, go elsewhere. Not only are they inept at repairs, they are unethical people. The manager and technician are basically working together to fleece people. Clearly the technician here knows nothing about servicing the watches they are selling. Bringing your luxury watch to this shop for service would be like trusting your Ferrari to a Honda mechanic. I would advise anyone who cares for their luxury timepiece to not come here for any kind of service. See other reviews.
