I walked into Time Center and was greeted right away. I had a literal bag full of watches that all needed new batteries. They quickly sorted through everything, recorded each watch by manufacturer on a bill of receipt, and quoted me a flat $15 per watch. When I came back, expecting to pay around $150 plus tax, they surprised me by saying they were replacing the batteries in two of the watches at no charge. No explanation, just a genuinely nice gesture that definitely earned my future business. I ended up paying about $123 out the door for all 10 watches, which works out to an average of just $12.30 per battery. Friendly, fast, honest, and efficient. I'll definitely be back the next time my watches need servicing. read more

After getting ripped off in Little Saigon over the years I decided to try a real big outfit. Let me explain, all the batteries sold in Little Saigon were reasonably priced $8 to$10 but they only lasted 6 months instead of 1 year, I even had them dead during my trips so even if I bring 2 watches it was very annoying so here I am at Time center. This store has been in business over 40 years, the owners are from Thailand so I know this is really legitimate not like many fly by night outfits! It's $12 for a regular watch n $20 for the Tagheur watch battery. It took 30 minutes so we went to Sprouts market. We browse around the store they had beautiful designer watches n even cuckoo clocks! We have a dead cuckoo but I'm not sure I want it fixed the bird drove me crazy n it's too expensive to get it fixed. So this is a one stop for all your watches n grandpa clocks need. I'm at lax my flight is 3 hours! Gosh Schumer stop the shutdown already!, it'll be midnight by the time I get to Miami I'm hoboing here! But I'll have time for another review. read more

Should have trusted my gut...11:00am I walked in with a watch needing a battery. She taked me into having the band cleaned as well. I was promised a call @ 4:00pm for pickup. 5 hours later I never recv'd a call. When I got to Time Center the battery was not installed - 5 hours and they can't do the simpilest request?? AND inside of the band it was damaged and scratched; they clearly did not have the proper tools for this Nordstrom Michele Diamond Encrusted watch selling right now for $2k+. Not sure if this place has been sold to new owners but they have gone way down hill. There is a woman with a dog behind the counter that asks how much you want to spend first before even asking what you are looking for. They used to be so nice but this new woman has to go. She has no idea how to deal with normal people and the dog is super annoying (and I'm a dog lover so that's saying something). Highly suggest you find another watch store to deal with. They were really nice when a purchased a watch. But I felt a bit bamboozled. The lady told me to keep the receipt, and I assumed it was 30 days to return the watch, because it was a gift. And when I came back to return it the lady told me 10 days and wouldn't let me return the watch and told me to sell it on eBay. I was decently happy with the service I received. I got a battery change and cleaning on my partner's Movado for $20. If you check-in on Yelp, it helps the business and saves you 15% on the watch battery change/cleaning, so I paid $17+tax out the door. Someone greeted me pretty quickly and was friendly. There were three to four other customers being worked on as well. The only reason for the 4 versus 5 stars is due to the actual "cleaning" job of the watch. It was very rushed and not anywhere near what I would expect from a professional clean. I don't know if there's a more detailed clean that costs more than the one that comes with the battery change, but there was still dirt and a bit of grime that I feel should have been noticed. All in all, I might come back here, might not. It's nice that they're local. read more
