I had a Japan domestic Seiko Marinemaster that needed a new battery. I emailed Seiko service and was told that they could no longer service my watch. I was referred to Time Zone by a fellow watch nerd. The experience was 10/10. Got an accurate quote over the phone. I priority mailed the watch and got it back in 9 days. New battery, pressure tested and the case cleaned. The staff were friendly, prompt and communicated well. The service wasn't cheap, but I was confident that my watch was in good hands. I wish I had found Frank's business earlier before I bought my Seiko 5 SRPD55K3 at a corporate retail store because I love to support a small business that truly has a passion for watches and holds a higher standard for their work ethics. Also I love the first name basis clientele greetings on my second visit. Always good to build a great relationship amongst clientele. My first visit I was greeted with a friendly smile from Frank and his wife. Frank also sized my oyster bracelet on my Orient Helios and I was also interested in a leather strap for it so Frank and his son swapped it for me and I was thrilled. My second visit I came after I did a little early Christmas gift shopping spree at Fashion Island and I wanted to see if Frank had gotten the Seiko 5 SSK003 GMT in stock and fortunately he did and I purchased it. He sized the bracelet for me and I was ecstatic. Thank you again Frank! I have been coming to Time Zone now for a couple of decades. This store has consistently been here on the corner of Adams and Harbor Blvd for over 30 years!! I regularly buy my watch batteries and watch bands here, have cleaning and maintenance on my watches done here by Frank, Sally and their son. This last time I came in and they sized up and removed a few links from my newest watch gifted to me by my uncle. They took care of it while I waited not much more than about 10 minutes. While I was waiting I witnessed Frank assisting an elderly couple and his kindness and attention to detail while making sure that the woman's watch was cleaned and maintained to her liking. It's this very personal service that keeps me and so many other folks coming back year after year after year. Omg. I came here to have 1 link taken out of an old family vintage heirloom watch. Frank greeted me with a smile and examined the band very carefully. He had his doubts because the band was very old and the don't make bands like this anymore. Long story short he was able to fix it for me and charged me only $35 to do so, when some other repair place that does high end repairs wanted $500+. And he was able to do it in less than 1 hr.
