When I asked if that specific reference carried the Geneva Seal, she said yes. It made me realize she was either blatantly lying just to make a sale, or she completely lacks basic knowledge of the Vacheron catalog. Throughout the entire process, she didn't highlight a single complication detail. Instead, she treated me with a bizarre, condescending attitude, bringing up the price of every single watch before I even asked. She repeatedly emphasized the costs as if she assumed I couldn't afford them. At one point, she even condescendingly remarked that these watches "aren't expensive" and bragged that she has sold million dollar pieces before. I'm not sure why her sales history matters to my experience, but her attitude was incredibly classless. The real kicker happened when my buddy walked over and sat down with us. He happened to be wearing a Nautilus. Suddenly, she was offering us the 222 in full gold to try on... and funny enough, she didn't mention the price to him once. When we were leaving, I asked for her business card. She literally refused to give it to me and just said to "come back when I decide." It is embarrassing that a prestigious brand like Vacheron Constantin allows someone with such a cheap, elitist, and judgmental attitude to represent them.
