Just picked up my CODE 11.59 Starwheel! So fortunate to have such a deep relationship with AP and specifically with this boutique! Monique, Aaron, and the rest of the staff at SCP are all industry vets with decades of combined experience selling exception timepieces. It's the 5 year anniversary of the CODE lineup! If you've looked at some of the older models before and didn't like them, I highly recommend you try out the newer models IN PERSON to see if your thoughts have changed. Many collectors & enthusiasts have begun to understand that the CODE lineup is much different today than it was 5 years ago and are being sought after. Never purchase any watch you don't absolutely love. But I recommend anyone new to the brand to check out the CODE lineup before reserving any judgement . read more

I have been reluctant to go to Audemars Piguet because I have read some not-so-nice reviews about some saloons, but had a wonderful experience at AP Costa Mesa. I had to make a last minute appointment, was only in the area for a short time. Adam graciously brought us back and showed us so many combinations of beautiful time pieces. He is really the best. Informative, he loves the company and the history of Audemars Piguet, knowledgeable and friendly. Noah was great too. He made sure we were comfortable and had sparkling water throughout the presentation of many different beautiful timepieces. It was an amazing experience. Looking forward to come back. They treated me like someone special, taking a lot of time to explain watch functions and process and how they are made. I am really no one, and for them to be so kind was really a great experience. I recommend making an appointment and seeing Adam and the rest of the family there. Just don't go looking for the Bleu Nuit, Nuage 50 timepiece I am interested in! Bad customer appreciation and service. I visited this boutique 8 months after it first opened and put my name on a wait list for a watch and when i returned later to say hello, not to my surprise, they have no record of me. Forget about the watch. They didnt have a record of me after they made me take the time to fill out an interest card and talk to me. So they essentially take the interest card from you, enter you into their junk email list and toss the interest card. There is no wait for pieces. It doesnt work this way. Its a gimmic. The two reps that are currently there were not there orignally but they worked for Patek Tourneau in the same mall and neither of them will be able to nor care to fulfill order promises to customers just as they were not able to at Patek either. That would be aaron and the lady with accent. Honestly, its a waste of time. Better off getting pieces second hand unworn at a discount. Even if theres a small premium id prefer someone make the commission that appreciates the customer and can actually get me a piece and provide ongoing service and appreciate a customer relationship. read more

After reading through the reviews, I'm not surprised that there are others who share the same if not similar experiences we've had at this store with the same individuals, Daniel and two different Patricks. Empty promises made one after the other. One of the Patricks (forgot his last name) wasn't even a sales rep so not even sure why they had him assist us in the first place, wasting our time that we can't get back. They made us fill out some cards (questionnaires) and we had to endure through POINTLESS "interviews" that we ended up having to do AGAIN and AGAIN. Found out recently, all the people we had to deal with, who were of no help whatsoever, are no longer there. Of course. SMDH. These people really don't care at all and they act like they're on the same level as Patek Philippe (lol). Laughable. There is more value elsewhere. Even my circle of friends who are avid watch collectors are sick of the games they play here and a few have sold off their entire AP collection directing their money elsewhere. Look, we get it and we understand the mental gymnastics they must play with us but DON'T make promises you don't intend on keeping. DON'T get our hopes up only to ghost us after. There is no respect and decency in that. Your watches aren't that special. YOU represent the company you work for and individuals like these are ruining it for the brand as a whole. Our group conversations about AP is hardly positive anymore. We've lost interest in the brand and will be getting rid of every AP piece in our collection just like the others. I'd rather they be honest and upfront to our faces than keep us going in circles to no end. Nobody has time or patience for that, especially those busy pulling in 7-8 figures. We're not even demanding or pushy either. We just don't appreciate being played, lied to, and ghosted. We're done with you. read more

Beautiful new place with really knowledgeable staff that really go the extra mile for you to get to know the brand, what they stand for and immerse yourself in horology. I must have gone in at least 5 times since they've opened and each time their SAs are always welcoming and willing to let you try on something new. While I've been fortunate to interact with several SAs there between my visits, the one that left the most lasting impression on me was Danny McHaffery was a true enthusiast and loves to talk watches as well as get to know you as a human being not just as a customer. I think that's what really separates my experience with AP so far from its competitors is that the brand's ambassadors are not judgmental or elitist, but really willing to educate someone new to AP or even watches on how mechanical watches work and why they're special at AP. Although I do not know when or if I'll ever have the opportunity to own an AP, the attitude and atmosphere provided by ALL of the staff was exceptional. Daniel made my first visit to the AP boutique an absolute pleasure!!! First, I love watches! For people who aren't watch people, this will sound crazy. On the other hand, if you are reading this, then you are probably a "watch person". The AP boutique opened in the fall of 2021. Given the fabulous reputation of AP and this being their first boutique south of LA, I knew there would be overwhelming demand for every employee's time. Based on this assumption, I waited approximately 9 months to schedule a visit. I sent the boutique an email expressing my interest in scheduling a visit. Patrick emailed me back quite quickly and was more than happy to schedule a visit. On the day of my visit, I was greeted by one of AP's associates, Daniel. Daniel is exactly the person AP should have representing their brand. Daniel was thoughtful, articulate, friendly, inquisitive, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to get to know. He greeted me, offered me something to drink, and we sat down in one of their discussion areas. A trip to AP is more similar to entering a friend's home for an espresso than going to a watch store. Daniel and I had a conversation about family, experiences, vacations, and, of course, watches. I was impressed with his knowledge of the watch industry and watches outside of AP. Needless to say, his AP watch knowledge was over the moon. There are so many interesting watch brands and watches and he was truly a student of his craft. I own a few "watch nerd" watches that aren't very expensive, yet are very cool to me. Daniel and Patrick (Patrick stopped by to talk watches too) were more than very familiar with my watches and scores of others. We spoke for about an hour and it was the most pleasant watch experience I have had in years. Daniel made me feel right at home. It felt as though I was catching up with an old watch enthusiast I had known for years. That type of exchange in 2022 is quite rare. If you have a genuine interest in getting to know one of the holy trinity of watch companies, then I suggest you take the time to schedule a visit to AP. Going into the boutique for the first time can be quite intimidating. I didn't know what to expect. I went in with my wife for the first time a few weeks after they had their opening as a walk-in. I met Kelly - from the Florida Boutique - who helped handle my inquiry about a particular reference. She readily made us feel at ease and relaxed. At no point did the conversation feel rushed at all, and they took the time to listen to me and to show me some models. After an enjoyable conversation, they took down my interest and referred me over to Daniel Mehaffey who took over the relationship moving forward. As my schedule is quite hectic and busy, I regretfully had very little time to engage with and meet in-depth and get to know Daniel on a much deeper level. Even so, he kept me in mind and was able to find me exactly what I wanted. A watch purchase for me isn't about the literal transaction. I personally believe there's much more meaning behind it. And I think AP nails it down with how they handled my particular experience. Daniel was able to drive that experience through and for that I'm eternally grateful. Super nice staff. Visiting out of town for family, and decided to reach out a week in advance for an appointment. Sent and email and was given a call back within a few hours. Was made an appointment with Daniel. Not knowing what size would fit my wrist, I trusted his advice and was given an opportunity to try on watches for reference. What a great experience I had with this AD. I came in expecting nothing in stock but they had a Royal Oak that I was able to try on. The excitement to even try it on at an AD was overwhelming. I wanted to add an AP to my collection and what a great time to purchase one before I turn 40 on December of this year. Patrick took his time to explain the craftsmanship and took out multiple references for me to try on to see which I liked. Have had nothing but great experiences every time that I stop by the SCP boutique. I went in to express my interest and had no issues scheduling an appointment to meet with a sales specialist. During my appointment, the sales specialist took their time and patiently guided me through their collections, offering valuable insight on specific models as well as answering all my questions with enthusiasm. Through this process, I was introduced to some new models and colorways that I was not previously aware of. Beyond learning about the brand and the models, we also discussed interests outside of watches, which was a nice experience as I really felt the the specialist took their time to get to me know as a customer. So let me get this straight, they have no watches to sell and yet no one can answer the phones. What can they be doing with no inventory to sell? I was at the mall so I decided to go into the store. They have about 10 different models in the counters. I asked the sales person if they were real. His response was yes they are. I asked if I can purchase one of the watches and he told me they will let me know. Why is it fair to pick who you can sell to if they are in the counter. I'll start off by saying I have not yet had the opportunity to purchase my first timepiece from AP, but my experience stopping in the first couple times was remarkable. I stopped in to the SCP Boutique after making an appointment over the phone to discuss my interest. I chose SCP because it is my local boutique and it ended up being a pleasant experience. I had the pleasure of speaking with Tracy, Francine, the sales associate Daniel and a friendly gentleman who offered me water/champagne (choose to save the champagne for the day I get the call). Francine, Daniel and I discussed my interest and it felt like they were genuinely interested in hearing my story of not only watches, but why I choose this point in time to purchase my first piece. They took the time to explain the process of obtaining a piece and that it may take some time. I was a little sad to see my local Los Angeles AD close down after hearing the brand was opening their own boutiques. After making the journey down to the west coast's first brand operated boutique I was pleasantly surprised to see the brand has taken control of its retail stores for good reason. The store was well designed and we now have exhibition models on display instead of empty shelves. The staff was great and Slah helped me with great customer service and professionalism, he is very experienced in the industry and it shows. I dropped off my rare and important AP watch with Patrick at the Audemars Piguet store in South Coast Plaza Mall back in June 2022 for routine maintenance. It has been nearly 5 months since then and I have not heard back from Patrick or anyone else about an estimate for my watch service. I have called several times and on different days but no one picks up the phone. I wonder if this AP store is closed. Since I could not reach anyone, I had no recourse but to provide a review of my experience online so the watch community knows what's going on. I think not getting back to your important clientele in a prompt and efficient manner reflects poorly on this luxury manufacturer's image as a haute horology. I will reach out to Audemars Piguet's sister store in Beverly Hills to find out what's going on with my watch service. I had an appointment to go in the first day of opening which is on October 9th on 12pm. However I was there at 11:45am which was 15 min earlier. And my appointment was with Daniel Mehaffey, after waiting outside for exactly 1 hour and 10 min. Me and my girlfriend got inside. And prior to coming in I asked clearly I'm looking for a Royal Oak watch. Whatever you have available I want 1 for myself all gold, rose gold or whatever they have price does not matter for me. So when we are inside sitting down he said we don't have any Royal Oak models here sorry. But on the text he tells me perfect come in at 12pm sharp and we got you. So he clearly lied to me and said we don't have any watches and he wasted my 2 hour drive there and also waiting for 1 hour for him to call me inside. And few hours later I see on Yelp he sold royal oak watches to others. It's totally unprofessional and unfair. He treAted me like I'm stupid and sent me out basically. I was extremely frustrated from this experience and shocked to be treated this way. And again I was open to buying any 1 royal oak model not anything specific I was open to options and choices. So it was very bad treatment for a high spending client like myself. And Daniel did not have any AP experience in watches I was wearing an AP watch and he said is that the gold 42 mm.. it was clearly a 39mm dual time. Rose gold. So his knowledge was less than mine about watches but he works at AP as a young kid with no experience. Poor act and bad service. read more
