Syngen was very transparent from the start telling me that my dream watch was en route and that there are necessary steps I need to do before securing the watch. Sure enough a week later I went into purchase the most iconic Patek Philippe Nautilus 5811 and I couldn't be more excited. While I was there I had a chance to meet with Wei Lah, the store manager and spoke with her at length. Over all It was a pleasant experience and this team will deliver and keep their promises. If I could give zero stars, I would. What we experienced at this Patek store was blatant discrimination and one of the worst customer service interactions I've ever had. We walked in genuinely interested in seeing a watch, and the sales associate immediately dismissed us. She was fully focused on the Chinese customers in the store and barely acknowledged us. When we politely asked to see something, she told us to "just go to the used watch area," because they "don't sell new ones to people they don't know." I asked her directly: "If I were Chinese, would that help?" Her response: "Yes, it might." Then she walked away. I have never been treated so rudely or so blatantly judged based on ethnicity. It was shocking and unacceptable. Every customer deserves respect, not to be told that their nationality determines whether they're worthy of attention. If you're not Chinese, expect to be ignored or dismissed here. This is not the level of professionalism or class a brand like Patek should ever tolerate read more

I walked in one day just to check out the new store. Being that I have some Patek watches on my wish list, I decided to stop by with my two kids in tow just to see what they had showing at this location. I met Mingyi. He was super welcoming, respectful, polite and friendly. We got to talk about our passion for watches and collecting watches. How it's not necessarily the brand or prestige, but what draws us to specific watches. Regardless or price point. He did take down my interest list, but I knew going in my chances of getting anything was slim to none, as I didn't have any purchase history with their Patek or this store's parent company at that time. I visited the Patek South Coast plaza location about a year ago. I'm a watch aficionado/collector and love many different brands. I was interested in possibly purchasing a Calatrava in the future. I see a beautiful Nautilus moon phase in the display. I ask the female sales associate, "Is that a 5726?" She replied, "something like that." I'm thinking to myself, you don't even know the products you're selling...I then proceed to ask her how do I go about purchasing a watch, do I leave my information, etc. She responds in a sassy tone, "We only sell by relationship." I don't even know what that means, but I took it as don't waste your time here. I understand the brand has exploded in popularity, but at least act polite and not like snobs. I left a 5 star review months ago because I was called by the sales rep one day after our second meeting in person at the boutique. He politely asked me if I could leave a five star review. He made me feel line this would help me start a relationship with them because after my many visits to the shop to beg them if I could buy a watch they keep giving me the run around. My favorite sentence would be from them, look at the catalog and come back abd tell us what you like. Then you go and tell them and they say, well those watches are impossible and the point you to a watch that my grand father wouldn't wear but I go with the flow because that's the game. Anyways, I leave the review and still to this day I haven't heard shit from them. I'm not sure how to buy a watch from the but this style of games feels like let's ignore him for as long as he can take it and maybe he will leave is alone. I have a spend history too. But don't be fooled by the five star reviews, they are all fake because calls were made to customers to do that. These people don't care to sell watches.
