Best in Brandon fa sho. Check this place out! You'll thank me later. They do run out of their most popular beef dishes on busy days which can honestly be any given day. If they happen to run out of your favorite or go-to dish, there'll be two options you'll have to consider at that point: 1. order what Tada recommends, (usually chicken dishes are left, but ya can't go wrong if ya prefer chicken), or 2. come back another day. This is a small restaurant that replaced Pita Pit in the Publix shopping plaza. They are new and still a little rough around the edges. When going to a new restaurant we order our usual dishes so we can compare. The regular Pho dac biet was generous. Bigger than normal. They had a good balance of noodle, soup and protein. Usually I get more noodles than meat or I run out of soup midway. The broth is a little on the sweet side. The meat were good well. Brisket was not overcooked. The rice and pork was tasty. Portion was generous and comes with a bowl of soup aka pho broth. The Bun Bo hue was packed and the taste was solid. The minus of a star were for the following. One of the best if not the top in the world place to get Pho soup! The owner is always there and always so helpful. It really shows to the true appreciation for the establishment that he gets to know all his customers and his family also is involved. Service: We came in to dinner excited due to the other reviews. However, the service was absolutely awful, the waitress had 0 personality and moved at such a slow pace. We watched her literally carry one plate/dish/sauce at a time. The place is small and cozy. I did watch others around our table become frustrated by the slow service. She dropped our food off and never came back. Food: the portion size was amazing. It was a great price for the amount of food we got. We both got the pork vermicelli. The pork itself was really good. Definitely tasted like it was straight from the grill. However, the rest of the dish didn't have much flavor in it. Service was slow. I sat there for about five minutes without a menu even though they acknowledged me when I walked in. They never checked up on me AFTER receiving my food. Pho lacked flavor, but their house special had lots of meat. I wanted some fish sauce or something to add more flavor, but nobody ever checked on me. The banh bao was good. The spring roll was decent but the dipping sauce could have improved. Boba was terrible. Had a weird texture. I wouldn't go back. Servers are young teens so they're busy gossiping. read more

We stopped in to check out this new spot and boy we hit the jackpot. We started with the egg rolls which are homemade and amazing. Then we had noodle bowls and the chicken was tender and delicious. The pork shrimp and shrill combo was so flavorful and with the different proteins you could get a different flavor profile in each bite. The owner who is the cook and his brother-in-law waited on us were two amazing and generous people. They talked me and my wife about how the restaurant started and their plans. Moving from California, this is the only pho restaurant that I have found that tastes just as good, if not better, than mom & pop pho restaurants from SoCal (Orange Co. California). What a strange experience... the first time we ordered from here the food was amazing, the service was friendly, and the restaurant was hot as balls but thankfully I ordered take out. That was only a few weeks ago. It was so good I left a raving review on here. This time, we ordered beef stew, lemongrass tofu again, 2 orders of egg rolls again, and a kids pho. We get it home and the lemongrass tofu has almost no sauce and zero flavor. It was so dry we couldn't eat it. The noodles in the beef stew were hard and clumped together like they weren't fully cooked and weren't stirred while cooking. The beef in the stew was hard and not tender at all. The egg roll dipping sauce didn't taste as flavorful like they didn't add all the ingredients to make it. By the time we ate it they were already closed so I decided to call back the next day. I understand having an off night but it's how they handled it that was the issue. The owner insisted I bring back the food to prove what the problem was and said that he would remake the food and give me a refund. I come inside the restaurant and he's combative right away because he notices I don't have the food and says "she's supposed to bring the food back" and I said it was in the car and then he said "is she here?" and I'm like she is me. I get the food and he inspects it and take it back to the back and dumped each container individually. Kinda odd, but ok. Instead of refunding me and remaking the food, he only offers to remake it but they happen to be out of what we had the night before so I picked other items and only asked for one order of egg rolls assuming he would refund the other. While they are making the food I notice both cooks pick up a container with raw marinated chicken with smudgy sludge all over the sides and very close to where they touched if not actually where they touched. Then they touched prepared food containers. I asked about whether they always leave chicken out like that and mentioned that they cross contaminated other items and he looked at me like I was giving him a hard time. As an owner of a restaurant and cook, he should know food safety and know that you shouldn't do that. It also shouldn't be so upsetting if a customer asks about it. He asked me if I just want a refund instead of taking the food. I could tell he was upset so I just tried to back down and say hey if you feel like you're safe then I'll take your word for it. I then ask for a refund for the other egg rolls and he acted like he didn't know what I was talking about. After I explained that he only remade one order of egg rolls and that I ordered two before he told me that since one wasn't there that he would only refund half the order. After he said that, I thought I best to ask for a refund. When I asked for a refund this time (1minute after he offered a refund) he said he wouldn't refund me and said he was going to call the cops and to never come back again. I tried to reason with him and make good but they wouldn't allow it and the female teenager told me I "was just being calm to make them look crazy". We bought food for dinner to eat and they made it seem like we were trying to scam them by bringing 95% of our food back. Like they were mad we ate any of it even though we bought food so we didn't have to cook. We spent over $60. This restaurant is a sister restaurant to Pho Loc Tho so I guess we can cross both of these restaurants off our list. You guys need to learn customer service and stop using little kids as employees. Oh ya and it was still very hot inside the restaurant. Edit: The other thing is that when I brought the bag back in he noticed that I put it in a Qdoba bag instead of the one it came in because we threw it away. He looked at the bag and said "we'll that's not our bag". Then separately after he took the food out and inspected it he said the beef stew was mixed with other food because my husband took some of the rice out of my food because his noodles were hard. When he called 911 he told them that he didn't want to get physical as if he called them because he felt like he was about to be physical. I was calm and just standing there relaxed trying to talk it out the entire time. Why call the cops? I wasn't even making a scene. It was a conversation. Although when I left I did take quit a few candies and say fu. I just didn't understand why it escalated so quickly to the point of calling the cops and him telling me to never come back. Kinda dramatic. At the end of the day, with the way he was acting with being hostile, combative and calling the cops and the things that I saw like the cross contamination. I didn't see why I didn't have the right to request a refund at any time. Especially after he offered several times. read more
