New Vietnamese Place in Brandon! Definitely needed one in this area. Great location right in the Publix plaza next to Costco. Eggrolls: Very crispy, and meaty full of flavor. Some places give you a bit more vegetables, but you can literally taste the meat. Dipping sauce was excellent. Rice Platter with Porkchops: Amazing. The pork chop was very thick and tender and very flavorful. The Vietnamese Bi Cha and egg were amazing. I typically do not like bi cha, but this was surprisingly very good. Banh Mi: The contents of the banh mi was delicious. I ended up ordering a beef a banh mi, which is clearly the beef from the pho (not a bad thing, more on this later). The bread however was clearly from Publix and not your traditional Vietnamese banh mi. But no complaints, i didn't expect anything more. Beef Pho: Got the pho dac biet. Now coming from a family of pho restaurant owners. I will never say anyone else's pho is terrible, unless it really is. Everyone has a different taste for pho. Some people grew up with salty and flavorful, others bold and sweet, some light broth and flavorful. And everyone likes their pho different. This pho broth was light. Not my favorite, but that's just me because I like my broth dark and sweet. But holy crap the cuts of beef were fat and thick, super tender!!! Especially the rare beef. Usually rare beef cuts are sliced thin and cook instantly in the hot broth, but all their beef cuts were of quality cuts, brisket, tendon, flank, marbled brisket, meat balls, etc. Again coming from years of making and serving pho, I pay close attention to little things like this. Everything was delicious! The broth was seasoned perfectly. The portions are just the right size and the sandwich was great. Cozy plaza space with great service and a variety of options. This was our first visit after many times passing by. I went with the chicken pho and my partner the ribeye pho -- we complement the flavor of the broth and great portion size, even including the meat! My husband and I both got the house special noodle bowl. We replaced the noodles with rice and both enjoyed our meals. The pork was seasoned well and the Egg roll was spot on! I'm excited to try the pho next time!!! My husband tried the steamed bun and said it was okay. Came here because of the reviews. We ordered chicken wings (appetizer), Young Chow Fried Rice, beef stew, grilled shrimp vermicelli, and house special pho. All 4 of us didn't like it, at all. Visually, it's great (except the fried rice) but the flavor was completely absent, especially from the pho and fried rice. Only the chicken wings were good. Not sure why ratings were so high? Craving some Pho and this place didn't disappoint. The steamed Bun was balanced nicely(sweet and savory). The peanut sauce with fresh rolls was fresh and tasty. The pho and banh mi were delicious. I've eaten here twice and I recommend the Ox Tail Pho over the Ribeye pho. I recommened the Grilled Pork Banh Mi over the Pan Sear Ribeye banh mi ,it's just my preference though, all were good. For the pho, broth was rich and flavorful, with a perfect balance of spices and herbs. The beef was tender and noodles were cooked just right. The banh mi was equally delicious. The bread was crusty on the outside and soft on the inside, and the fillings were fresh and flavorful. The Pork Steam Bun is delicious, filled with ground pork, egg, inside a sweet, fluffy white dough. This is not great as an appetizer though, it's kinda large and filling, might be would be better for snack later or for breakfast the next day. They have Thai tea with boba that comes from a can, not the freshest boba but it was actually not bad. Fast, friendly table service, but once you're done go up to the counter to pay. read more

I wanted to update my review. We went back this past weekend and the dining area was much cooler. I noticed there were 2 fans mounted on the walls. Not sure if they were there last time, but I think it helped. Last time we were there around 5p and this time around 7:30p, so that could have played a role. Food was still amazing. One of the tastiest phos I've ever had! Super hearty with generous portions of meat in a well-balanced soup base that is not too salty. Got the P1 house special and my wife got the usual chicken pho plus a side of fried rice for our little one. Everything was spot on- including the customer service. New spot in Brandon. I went today for the first time. They had steady traffic of customers flowing in the door. We tried their spring rolls. I had the Banh Mi and my friend had their Ribeye Pho. Everything was delicious. The Banh Mi bread had the right crunch and all the ingredients inside were great. My Vietnamese coffee was also great. Not too sweet and just the right bitterness. Left me energized for the afternoon. Prices are little higher than some other Vietnamese restaurants in town, but its still affordable thankfully since Brandon is working-class. I could definitely see myself coming in regularly for banh mi or a bowl of pho. Could also see myself ordering takeout from here. I mostly observed families dining and some couples. The only thing I think they could improve is offering more for their appetizers. Two spring rolls or one bao bun is not enough in my opinion for the price of those items. I think of appetizers as shareables too. Otherwise this place is great. Really recommend it either way and I will be back. They a bunch of other menu items too and the staff was really friendly. The food here is tasty. The pho is a bit sweet but they put a lot of meats and noodles. The fried chicken is savory and perfectly seasoned. The Vietnamese coffee and condense milk is a must. i'm looking forward to seeing Tada's grow. the owner is personable and the pho broth is top tier. the fried shrimp rolls were served hot & fresh. I certainly would order them again. for my entree, i ordered the angus beef short rib pho, which was the special of the day. the overall bowl of pho was super solid, but half, if not most of my short rib was pure fat. that was disappointing, as I also discussed with the owner I was Yelp elite and love to patron new businesses. It was just luck that I was in the area and happened to pass by this restaurant. Looks like the owner got his family all involved, very sweet. You don't see that often. Fresh and delicious food. Best pho in town! It's family owned and operated and you can tell by the great taste and service. Inside is clean and has a nice vibe. Good place to eat with friends or getting out on your own. Come here once and you'll be hooked. I always get the pho, try 'em all! Last time I dined in with a friend who got fried rice and was happy with the large portion. Being from Southern California definitely has its food perks. I've had Vietnamese food for many years now. I've never thought I would have the best Pho far away in Florida. The flavor is very distinct, even the broth color was noticeably different. I was happy to see the fatty broth on the menu. If you've never had that, I'd recommend to order it. Dump it into the soup for added kick! The homemade hot sauce is money! The team is very kind and definitely makes you feel at home. This is a small restaurant that replaced Pita Pit in the Publix shopping plaza. They are new and still a little rough around the edges. When going to a new restaurant we order our usual dishes so we can compare. The regular Pho dac biet was generous. Bigger than normal. They had a good balance of noodle, soup and protein. Usually I get more noodles than meat or I run out of soup midway. The broth is a little on the sweet side. The meat were good well. Brisket was not overcooked. The rice and pork was tasty. Portion was generous and comes with a bowl of soup aka pho broth. The Bun Bo hue was packed and the taste was solid. The minus of a star were for the following. The temperature of the broth was not scorching hot. I usually expect to have and wait for the broth to cool a little. The fried rice was so so. read more

I recently visited this restaurant for the second time, hoping for a better experience than my first visit. During my initial encounter, I ordered beef pho to-go and was disappointed to find that the meat was so undercooked that I had to finish cooking it at home. While the resulting dish wasn't terrible, it was pretty standard fare that you'd find at any other pho place. Feeling optimistic after seeing numerous 4-5 star reviews and no negative ones, I decided to give them another chance. This time, I opted for the beef short rib. The photos looked enticing, but unfortunately, reality didn't match the expectation. One of my two orders was completely inedible - the ribs were burnt, rock-solid, and lacked any semblance of beef flavor. It's hard to pinpoint the issue, but the quality of the meat seemed off, as if it was past its prime. Despite the generally positive reviews, I'm afraid this will be my last visit to this establishment. I was let down twice in a row, and I can't help but question the consistency of their dishes. Maybe it was just bad luck, the place seems to have alot of customers inside and the reviews are good. But it lost me as a customer. read more
