So I'm a fan of Tequila's Town, both the downtown and sandfly location, but this location left a lot to be desired. Not a welcoming experience when we first walked up, no eye contact or greeting; just a "where do you wanna sit." Queso and chips were good. Service was slow and a four top, that arrived after us, was greeted and had drinks before we were ever greeted. I legitimately thought I might have Covid due to the lack of flavor in the street tacos, at least the one that didn't fall apart. read more

10/10 amazing. I love the pet friendly tables that were technically outside, but so comfortable, covered and well maintained, that it didn't feel like you were outside. Our server was sweet, attentive and quick! Our appetizer and cocktails came out about 5 minutes after we ordered them. And they were amazing. The drinks we had to pass around the table because everyone wanted to try each others. The food was also quick. Everyone was incredibly impressed by how tasty everything was. Between the group, we got beer, some margaritas- strong and tasty, empanadas- AMAZING ( would love a chicken option though ), a few different kinds of tacos- all very good, and one of the rice bowls, which was so good I still haven't stopped thinking about it. This is a gem neighborhood spot. After a long day of sightseeing, we were looking for a local, not fancy, good food, place near our airbnb. Happily we found this friendly neighborhood restaurant. The "at your table made" guacamole is delicious, chips (served warm) and salsa very nice, the margaritas (mix not too sweet) well made, the food - same attention to quality, portion, .... We sat at the bar and really enjoyed talking to our server Angel and other diners. Yes - not fancy but high marks on most important criteria - food, drink, service and friendly atmosphere. I live nearby and used to go when it was Blowin' Smoke. I don't eat meat so it makes sense I would prefer a taco bar, and would but these are generally lacking pizzazz and the fly infestation has been an issue as long as it has been open. Truly sick. They had bait bags above tables and I forever imagined the writhing bags splitting own during our meal and spilling on us. Yow. Table guac no longer made tableside either. No big deal but just a side note. Weak margaritas as well and I have low tolerance. read more

So the food is amazing. As a vegetarian we had plenty of options and the food was so good. Had the quac, poblano tacos, cauliflower tacos and cactus tacos. Had 2 drinks would have had more, but literally saw our server 1 time about 15 minutes after we sat down. Then she came out about 45 minutes later to see if we wanted anything more. We've enjoyed this place often. Today was different. Told they had no mojitos. Bartender opened the refrigerator to show they had no mix. They have a full bar and last time the bartender had made them from scratch. How hard is it to mix rum, simple syrup, lime and club soda. Not sure if she was new or lazy. Food was just OK. Hope this isn't the beginning of a slide downhill for them. Overall we have enjoyed this place. read more

I wish I could give tacos + tequila 0 stars. I came in for only a to-go order just to be ignored for the first 5 minutes before demanding service from one of the bartenders. The whole situation put a bad a taste in my mouth, because no water or anything were offered to me and my husband in an empty bar. However, we still pushed through and just wanted to hurry up with our order and LEAVE. The bartender proceeds to flick the credit card holder with the bill on the table. And that was the tipping point. Terrible service on top of nasty attitude! It can't get much worse than this. Not sure how the bartender thought that this didn't come off rude.......Didn't even get a chance to talk to the manager because the bartender was talking over us the entire time. Other bartender lied and said we ignored him when we first got there. What sense does that make when we are trying to get our order in? Then the bartender is telling US to leave, and we were the ones neglected. Don't want to throw the race card, but as the only black people at the bar, it definitely doesn't help. Just want equal treatment and service. That's all. Won't be coming back but it's not like y'all care anyway. I pray that God keeps blessing everyone at Tacos and Tequila regardless. read more

Great street tacos and Margaritas! Had the guavarita and three street tacos. The prickly pear cactus taco was excellent and the ahi tuna taco the best fish taco I think I've had. The lamb taco was good but not great. Prices and service was great. Really good value.... read more

I absolutely love the downtown location and was really excited about a second location opening up closer to our home. Unfortunately, it's really not a comparable experience. The food is good, not great, and the menu is different from the other location. We didn't received the appetizer we ordered and had to ask multiple times for condiments. It's also not the same bang for tour buck. I will say that the music was nice and there was lots of free parking. It's not a bad place at all, just don't expect the same service or quality of the downtown location. read more

I love this spot. Since I live close, I frequent this restaurant. The atmosphere is so wonderful. You could spend the whole afternoon sipping margaritas and listening to the live music they have on Saturday nights. The food is delicious and the service has been great every time I've ever been there (and I've even gone solo a few times and still felt like I was served very well!). Overall, I would definitely recommend, especially if you'd like to go somewhere outside with consistently good live music! read more

Hi! Don't read the other reviews there must be a glitch! This is a new version of Tequilla's Town with outdoor seating! Jennifer and Ashely are amazing bartenders and very attentive. The Arroz Texans is my favorite and the frozen margarita is the bomb. Get the house don't go for any fru fru stuff. The manager Heribeto is absolutely amazing. He actually cares if you like the food and drinks and will make it happen. While the one downtown is closer, we walk here for the outdoor seating . But downtown Carlos the manager is a sweetheart and Saul the bartender is really awesome!!! read more

I live in the area and was extremely excited to know Tequila Town was soon to open near me.. I love love love Tequila Town..... Well, let's say I've dined at this location back to back and received the same dry unwelcoming experience... So let's go from the beginning... I'm a bar sitter kind of guy. I don't expect a long conversation from the bartender or even the manager for checkups, but I it least want to feel that I'm acknowledged.... " FYI, I'm gay so no I'm not hitting on the lady bartenders " I sat at the bar for a second twice and not even a hello. All you will receive is a food order taker. Take your food order, bring it to you "which items was missed twice" and give you your check when you ask for it.... I could not believe what I was experiencing!!! But I can say this, if you work there, the bartenders will give you allllllll the attention you need. They will check up on you and make sure your dining experience is A-1... Maybe I need to apply to receive that kind of experience or maybe I need to sit at a table next time.. The food is good, you might not get all that you ask for or anything else because they " bartenders " will not check up on you, but staff on staff respect is definitely there.... I'm going to give it one more round, but downtown Savannah Tequila Town I miss you.... Habersham location please please please do better....
