Took advice from Eater Savannah and tried this place. Meh. The portions are huge, so if you're really hungry, that's a good thing. The location on Bay Street is convenient to the river and stuff, so that's cool. The vibe is...uh...a place to eat and drink...and there were sports on TV. The server was friendly, but let empty glasses sit for too long. The food wasn't bad, per se (although the tuna on my poke taco was definitely past its prime), it was just kinda bland and boring. I didn't expect super authentic or core memory 1am street tacos in Mazatlan or anything in a place lovingly dubbed "rednexican", but the flavor just wasn't there. I will say the corn cake elote things were really good. Otherwise...meh.

Service was fast and friendly. Food came out quickly and was delicious!! Great atmosphere!!

    Tuna taco

You can tell the pico has been sitting in the fridge for a WHILE, I don't have a picture of the guacamole but it was BROWN, the whole cup was brown. The tuna was BROWN, even though it was raw; it shouldn't be brown. My family got tacos with over half, if not all of the ingredients missing besides the meat. The first warning was that there were no people inside. Got charged for add on that I never got. We got a chicken quesadilla, and the chicken tasted like it was from a can.

Was very excited to try this new spot in downtown Savannah. Had the buffalo shrimp tacos! They were quite tasty. Washed it down with the MacDaddy Margarita. To top it all off they had the Braves game on the humongous TV. Definitely my kind of place.

taco salad (with bacon for some reason), chicken burrito, elote bites, stale chips

Probably one of the worst mexican restaurants i've been to :( chips were stale, queso tasted funny, food was really cold, drinks were good but tasted like they had no alcohol. service was good, but not friendly just good. ambiance was... well it was completely empty, the only people enjoying their food were the kids. super expensive for nasty food

It's located on top of The Alida hotel (also one of my fave boutique hotels) in the historic River Street district. I've had the chance to visit The Lost Square both during the winter and this past week during the summer. They have a great view of the river and cozy lounge seating, as well as a full bar. The first time I visited was near Christmas and it was freezing outside, but they had a burning fireplace and the cutest little enclosed glass houses you could sit in to enjoy your drinks. During my recent visit, we had our 1 yr old son with us and decided to have dinner there and enjoy the weather. I had the Valencian Spritz (reposado, orange aperitif wine, fresh orange, white pepper, and cava) which was the perfect summer drink. My husband had the Soft Light mocktail (zero proof gin, papaya, kefir, and saline). For food, we started with the Labneh dip topped with olive oil, za'atar, and honey with fresh pitas on the side. Wow, this has got to be the best pita I've ever had. They were so fluffy, warm, and well seasoned. We even got a second order. The labneh dip was phenomenal -- highly recommend for an appetizer or just a snack. We also shared to the falafel bites and the Alida Burger which was very tasty! We'll definitely be back for another visit the next time we're in Savannah!

What a beautiful picturesque place to have some bites and cocktails!…read more I was welcomed into this moody, velvety spot with a sweeping view of the river. Beautiful glass, marble, deep colors of navy, mauve, and gold. Service was wonderful, felt welcomed immediately. For my appetizer, I had the crab cake with homemade tartar sauce, which was a light, bright way to start the evening. For my entree, I had the filet mignon. The server will tell you, the menu says tapas, but the servings are larger than that. Meat portions are generous at 6 oz. My only complaint is that I ordered my steak medium and got closer to well done. At least the steak was still moist and not dried out, but I would be hesitant to do the steak again. The spinach risotto I had with it was creamy and cheesy, however, so that was nice. Other options for food include burrata, a charcuterie board, grilled shrimp, sea bass, salmon, scallops. The cocktails are the real star here. They fall under the categories "strong and adventurous," light fare," and "signature." Non-alcoholic cocktails are also available. I started with the medusa 1597, under "strong and adventurous." Made with Old Tom Gin, extra dry vermouth, truffle, grapefruit, and amaro, it was extremely strong. A bold, slow sipper I would have done better to have later in the evening, but I still appreciate the complexity of it. I also had the Bella primavera, a lighter cocktail under the signature section. Made with pisco, blanc vermouth, French herbal liqueur, watermelon, and basil leaf. A smoother, brighter, faster sip than the Medusa. And I also had the blood orange martini, made with French vodka, blood orange, lime, and cranberry. A little sweet, but not cloying, and again, would have been a better starter as opposed to a closer. I think when I return, I will ask the bartender to make me off the menu drinks. This place seems creative enough that the outcome would be fantastic. I loved this place. The vibe, the view, the service, the offerings. Can't wait to see what more they have in store.
