I went here a couple of weeks ago with friends & had a pastor taco. Delicious! My friends both had pastor burritos & loved them too! I went back today with my BF because I was dying to try a pastor burrito & it was as amazing as my friends said! We'll definitely be back again soon! They are located in the orange food truck in the Texaco gas station parking lot at the corner of great oaks drive & hillside drive.

Another excellent totra and tacos! This is hands down the best taco truck in the North Austin and Round Rock area. The food is great, service is friendly and prices are fair.

Breakfast Burrito!!

The lovely ladies who run this taco truck snuck into the neighborhood at some point and I hope they stay for ever!! It is by far the best breakfast burrito/taco I have ever had! Yelpers I don't make that claim in vain or take it lightly the magnitude of my compliments. I have been to food trucks far and wide. I have a fondness for the Taco Shack Burnett Road Burrito especially when it comes to size. I love the tacos at Rudy's, I mean come on. Taco Deli I do not make this claim easily as the array of options is awesome. I hate to mention others in a review but had to qualify my claims so that you all understand how awesome these tacos are! Keep it simple 1. Burrito comes with 2 eggs 2. Add potatoes 3. Add bacon 4. Obtain Nirvana A few tips and important points. They take credit cards so it is super easy pay system. The ladies running the truck are primarily Spanish speakers so enunciate and speak clearly. Maybe learn a Spanish phrase and branch out! Last and most importantly get the salsa roja!! It is spicy but delicious. It is like a salsa tomato bisque. That may not be the best description but you won't be disappointed! The verde is good to! Support local and support small businesses!!

Place was good. Food was fresh and the salsa was good too. I did half chicken and half steak. Got extra green sauce which was good too.

First time eating at this local food truck - we enjoyed the breakfast tacos. If you like spicy hot sauce, this is the place to go.

Solid Mexican food. Not texmex... in fact no queso, yay! This is the authentic west coast Mexican food I miss.

Fresh and delicious burrito bow for 9 dollars after tax. This place is very busy at lunch so you might want to call and order before coming.

The burritos here are amazing! The meat is not overly greasy, and the portions are a great size. Highly recommend!

And ALWAYS cooked FFRESH! Also for my pescatarians or vegetarians there's options so you can enjoy tacos like everyone else and they taste just as good. I only take one star off because the cashier didn't give me the furiosa, she gave me el differente which is still good but the furiosa is my favorite and the tables were not cleaned or wiped off, but I get it they were extremely busy for lunch. This is an Austin staple that I think anyone needs to try and all ther location are very consistent!

So got a steak taco, barbacoa taco and a chicken quesadilla. The staff was extremely nice. I explained I couldn't have any cross contamination with pork she made sure the kitchen knew, which was greatly appreciated. So the barbacoa was ok, steak was very good and the chicken in the quesadilla was probably my least favorite only because I'm not sure if it's meant to be grilled, fried or simmered. But the chicken seemed like it was boiled then put in the quesadilla and fried on the flat top which would have been fine but the chicken seemed quite dry. Maybe I came in at a bad time not sure because when I had it at the truck I was dreaming about it for weeks so maybe it was just not my day but over all it wasn't bad and the 3 star is more because my expectations were set based on the other location. I am definitely going to be back to chase that first time flavor again but this time it just missed the mark unfortunately.

I tried the Rotisserie Chicken Bowl for the first time, and baby... this bowl was GIVING. Layers of flavor, fresh ingredients, creamy avocado notes, charred tomato goodness -- it all came together like a tiny choir of angels. And then the queso blanco arrived -- for FREE, might I add -- with those blue corn chips that were crispy, salty, and everything I needed in that moment. The queso was so good it almost stole the spotlight from the bowl. The portion was generous too; I couldn't finish it all and saved it for the next day. And don't laugh, but it tasted even better after it sat overnight. The flavors said, "Let us settle and bless you properly." Would I get this again? Yes, ma'am. Velvet Taco went straight on my "dependable lunch time heroes" list. If you're hungry, busy, and craving something that hits the spot, this is it.

Food took over 10 Minutes but arrived mostly cold. The flour tortillas were cold and stale. Some of the meats were cold inside. Very disappointing for the price. The nachos were a let down. Portion was small and we were hoping for melted shredded cheese. It was also missing pico. They charged us $4 for a side of pico. Honestly the charge for every small thing and I get that, that's the business side of things but it does feel very nickel and diming you. My husband had the crispy taco plate and he said the meat was too salty. There were 4 of us, got 4 entrees, 1 topo chico, 3 tap waters, a side of pico and after tip we paid $70. Looking back it feels a little pricy.

Seat yourself - nothing fancy. The vibe here is local Mexican restaurant. The server was nice but became more engaged when I spoke Spanish to her. She greeted us with chips and two warm bowls of charro beans, which were absolutely delicious. My husband had a Cuban-style torta which was huge and he inhaled. It's not a Cubano - it's a traditional torta with ham and cheese added. He had fajita steak in his and said it was phenomenal. Honestly we could have split this and both been full. I have the taquitos plate. I went with chicken breast and al pastor (2 of each). Came with optional cilantro and onions (don't skip) and grilled onions/pepper plus a side. I couldn't finish it. The chicken was soooo good - very flavorful and not dry, some of the best chicken breast I've had in a while. The Al pastor was good too, but the chicken was exceptional, which I never thought I'd prefer! Under $30 with drinks and tip, this was very very good. The chicken soup others were enjoying also looked stellar - nobody was looking up from their bowl. Great little find. Will definitely be back!

I noticed they had some new menu items and was excited to try the milanesa de res plate (as clearly written on their board). The waitress, a very nice young lady, took my order with no problem. But shortly after, she came back saying the cook told her that the milanesa could only be made with chicken. I showed her the board, which listed both beef (res) and chicken (pollo). This led to several servers having to check and communicate with the kitchen, which felt unnecessary and just made the wait longer -- I was simply hungry and didn't want the extra back-and-forth. Eventually, our server explained that milanesa de res is only available in tortas, but then added they were actually out of beef anyway. I accepted that and asked for a side of rice instead. About 10 minutes later, she returned saying the cook had decided they would go ahead and make the milanesa de res after all. At this point, I was frustrated -- why say they didn't have it, then later say they could make it? It really felt like the kitchen was making up rules as they went, which is not fair to the customers or to the servers. The only positive part of this visit was our waitress. She was kind, patient, and clearly just trying to do her job, but the disorganization and inconsistency from the kitchen left a very bad impression.

The staff was so kinda and I was able to tour where they cook all the meat. The time and effort that is put into making the food is a true work of art. The TENDERISM was so real . It's more of an outdoor, picnic-style setup that honestly feels like you're at a family barbecue, which made the experience even better. The food was excellent. The birria and barbacoa were rich, tender, and full of flavor. You can tell the meat is cooked the traditional way. They also offer traditional cuts like cabeza and lengua. I tried them even though they're not really my personal preference, but I appreciated that they offer those authentic options. What really stood out was the hospitality. The gentleman working there was awesome. He showed us the barbecue pit and even gave me a taste of fresh lamb barbacoa straight from the pit, which was incredibly tender and flavorful. At the end they were already cleaning up and closing, but I asked for a jamaica and he still brought it over and didn't even charge me for it. Great food, authentic cooking, and genuinely friendly people. It felt more like a family cookout than a restaurant, and I'd definitely come back.
