    Asada tacos
    Sarah H.

This place never disappoints! Obsessed! I've been coming here for five years now. It keeps getting better! My girls love it too!!

You'll miss the spot if you're not careful.

Drove from Torrance to get these. They were definitely worth the drive. Delicious for sure! Sudadero is good and is passable for estilo D.F. no to the chicken and carne asada. The Al pastor was actually my fave. My biggest and only complaint would be, they didn't have the guacamole salsa. :(

Four of us ate for $30!!! I would have paid $60....they got a very nice tip.

Very authentic and delicious tacos. Only thing missing is an Al Pastor trompo. Took my husband, brother and their dad after a Galaxy game. They are Chilangos from Mex city and agreed the pastor, cabeza and suadero tacos where the best. You know it's good when the handmade tortillas are almost better than the filling! They taste like a yummy combo of corn and flour tortillas, warmed until toasty. Tip: salsas are on the hot side (as they should be), you can ask for grilled onions and chiles, and a quesadlla can be made with the yummy handmade corn tortilla masa or flour tortillas - and finally they have clean restrooms at the church they are located at that you can use. A bit hidden but completely worth it!!!!

Tacos Estilo D.F. is located in the parking lot on the east side of the church. The food stand is only available on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights rain or shine from roughly 6PM (sometimes a bit earlier depending on how fast they set up) to 11PM. It's recommended to get there 15 minutes before they close so they don't start closing up as you arrive. As for the food, oh my goodness are you going to be in for a wonderful treat. First off, it must be said that all the tortillas, be it corn or flour, are all homemade and are freshly made right in front of you. Off to the side is an area for you to add whatever and however much you like to your food. You have the option of adding beans, chilé, salsa, guacamole, cilantro, cabbage, onions, peppers, lemons, etc. All you can eat basically. And you can take your extra toppings with you in little bags which is also a plus. I personally go with the pastor tacos but recently tried the chicken quesadilla with a corn tortilla and damn was it soooooo delicious. I eventually tried the pastor quesadilla which is also yummy. There's literally tons of options to choose from such as tacos, quesadillas, sopes, tamales, tortas, burritos, mulitas, huaraches, and more. Some of the meats they have are carne asada, pastor (pork), chicken, cabeza, lengua, etc. I do believe there's more but they slip my mind at the moment. Also, they have homemade drinks like horchata, as well as, candy and sodas from mexico which are much better than the domestic sodas. As for prices, tacos for most meats are $1.50 with other meats being a little bit more. Quesadillas run around $3 and up depending on what you want in it. Other food options run from $2 and up. Oh and be sure to bring cash because it's cash only. Well I guess that's it for now. So if you're in the area around the times the stand is open and want true authentic mexican food, do stop by for a bite to eat. I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

These tacos are everything!!! When I eat them I feel like I'm in Tijuana. I been searching for TJ style tacos my whole life. And I think I finally found them. They make the tortillas by hand and it has that taste you can only get from hand made tortillas. The meat is delicious without that fat/chewy stuff. The tacos are made with only one tortilla but trust me, that's enough. Tacos are huge compared to taco trucks tacos. They are located at a Church's parking lot on Carson St. Kind of hard to see but not impossible.

Fresh. That's the best word I can think of to describe this place. They make the tacos right in front of you.

Suadero and tripa tacos have the best flavor and are the best tacos here. That's my opinion of course. Enjoy.

It's normally taco Tuesday or dinner. It wasn't busy when we arrived. Mainly everyone was seated outside which we wanted a table as well. There was one that we were interested in and asked if we could have it which the waitress working was ok with. But it needed clearing up. It took a while for someone to come out and clear and clean the table up. It was fine waiting but it was like did someone forget about us. Anyways. We got seated and then the waiting continued. It could be that they were short staff but it seemed like there was only one person working. It took a while for someone to finally come back and acknowledge us and take our order. After that the chips and salsa were brought out. Once we ordered the drinks it was easier to place everything together. Menu for happy hour is pretty limited. A few drinks and beer on drafts and for food, maybe 6 items on the menu. Went with an order of the street corn which was quite tasty. An order of the mole chicken nachos and the queso dip with barria. Out of the three, the queso dips and the street corn were great. Nachos were good but nothing really major. The flavors of everything were quite tasty. Dishes were 12.00 an item. For happy hour, it was decent and what we had was good. The service was pretty slow at the beginning. Only the front patio and inside seating was available as the back patio wasn't open. We did start to see other staff walking in so maybe there was only one staff during the time.

Seeing people going in and out which I knew it was a restaurant. Last night we started off with drinks at the speakeasy next door. The two places share restrooms and that's how I found out about this place. Let me say it was a vibe. The first thing you notice from the back, the bar area and Photo Booth. And the live DJ keeping the place on its feet. We ended up wanted to check it out as it was a full restaurant and bar. Friday night without a reservation, spoke with hostess which they could accommodate 6 of us in a bit. Still had to close out at the other place before. The restaurant has a cool vibe with the main dining area in front, bar area towards the back side and on the opposite site is where the DJ booth was. Sam was our waitress who took very good care of us. Very sweet, friendly and of course attentive. Made sure that we were well taken cared of and if anything was needed she was there. It's a cool Mexican restaurant with a cool vibe to match. The place did get lively and was pretty full. You had parties up and dancing and enjoying themselves. Anyway, food and drinks. Started off with some spicy margaritas. Wow, they were strong but good. You had to sip versus drink... lol... Bartender was not playing and in a good way. The menu is somewhat limited compared to other restaurants but what was offered all looked amazing. A modern twist to Mexican food but still with the amazing authentic flavors. Instead of a meal we opted for à la carte and shared everything. Also was informed that the dishes are like tapas and great for sharing. Chips and salsa were brought out which both the chips and salsa were excellent. An order or the aguachille which had that nice sour taste with the lime juice perfectly balanced for the shrimp and trimmings. Served with tostada. The shrimp ceviche, another wonderful dish. Nicely marinaded in the lime juice was very flavorful and also served with tostada. An order of the enchiladas, came with three but we split it for 6 of us. The cheese and filling was very good. The molcajete served in a volcanic bowl stuffed with different meat, cactus, cheese all combined to create an amazing dish full of flavors. A must have and lastly the adobado hamachi collar, yellowtail. Very tasty but did have a fishy taste. Yes it's fish but still. Quite tasty and plentiful. Overall food and vibe was great. The place was definitely lively in the evening. We can finally say we've been and tried some amazing dish. It's a place that worth coming back for more. Parking is a little crazy as residential is always packed. There's a lot across the street which they do utilize but it's can be a bit crowded as well.

I've never been a fan of black beans but these were tasty. My Tlayuada hit the spot and chase it down with a Penelope. When we arrived we were the only ones there. The server was attentive and check on us throughout our visit. Engaging and friendly. The interiors are cost and warm with plants and green as the main color. Nice murals throughout.
