Taco truck tacos... with large hand made corn tortillas. Pretty bomb, the big corn tortillas are primarily used for the carnitas (4bux) and are huge! The other tacos come on a standard street taco sized tortilla from inside the truck, but the young lady hand pressing and cooking the tortillas in the flat top will make your Carnitas tacos, right there in front of you. One of the few places and not to mention trucks that have Cabeza, lengua and Tripa... in addition to Pollo, Al Pastor and Carne Asada.. 2.25$... good sized too. The example credit card and cash and the staff work during the day are extremely polite and professional. Definitely a new place to go and check out. They also have Menudo on Saturday and Sunday.++++ read more

Taste - food tasted ok, not the best but not terrible. Cabeza tacos are always good - better than most actually and my son likes their fish tacos too so those they do those well. The salsas are bland - only the habanero has anything to offer. Service is good, everyone is always nice. The ONE major thing that's convinced me to stop getting food here is that every time we eat food made by this place, my stomach gets upset and I have to go to the bathroom. I don't know what it is but I've eaten in a loooot of taco stands and this one messes with my stomach unlike any of the others. It's happened more than once so I think I've given them enough chances. You've been warned. read more

Great late-night spot! This place usually is okay but I got charged w/extra cheese, extra Guacamole (I barely had any at all!) but NO CHEESE whatsoever!!! Luckily my Husband LOVES their Lengua Burrito so we'll be back. The Carne Asada in my all-meat burrito was a lil tough too. I'll go back to ordering it w/Al Pastor meat instead! Paid $30 for some ok tasting food with a side of food poisoning. And I know for a fact it was from here because it was the only thing I ate that day. Every time I've come here the food has absolutely fucked my stomach up and each time I try to give them the benefit of the doubt. Normally I'd be whatever about it but I fed this to my toddler who also threw it up. I'm surprised they haven't been sued yet. read more

Oops, I did it again You played with my heart, got lost in the game... Went on a limb to try this spot based on limited options near by and a Yelpers reviews. Always trust your instincts. At first glance at the place I thought nothing of it except no people, red flag 1. As I paid for the pastor burrito alone nothing else no special requests, they told me $11.42. I'm thinking to myself these are Chipotle prices, without the quality, red flag 2. The burrito it self was like 60% rice, for an $11 burrito that better have more like 75% meat. Green salsa was good. Last but not least the burrito did not sit well with my stomach, red flag #3. I was hoping for something delicious and left with an upset tummy and the desire for good food. Maybe less rice on the burrito. I won't be trying this spot again, nope won't pull a Britney. read more

Tacos Los Abundis is a permanent taco truck on the corner of Delta and Willow in Long Beach. They are conveniently located on the outside of a car repair garage. There is limited seating, but for the most part, customers take their orders to-go. Service is pretty quick from ordering to getting your food. They have a good selection of meat, dishes, and Aguas Fresca. On the weekends, they have carnitas. I opted to add carnitas with my Chilaquiles, and it was delicious. Super tender with flavor! This is also my husband's go-to taco spot too! read more

This is a big plus to me as it shows me (the consumer) that they take pride in providing the best service. Their breakfast burritos are bomb and the carnitas are amazing. I mean what can I say, tacos are life and so is this taco truck. The workers are quick at making your orders even on those busy nights. They have everything you can think of: tacos, burritos, quesadillas, mulitas, nachos, sopes, and much more. They even have an area with aguas frescas. All sides are available to go. They have baggies and containers for their salsas. Everything I have ever ordered here has been amazing. I will say that the carne asada is my favorite whether it be in tacos or a burrito. You cannot go wrong with that. So if you are looking for a quick bite, stop by this truck to have a few tacos. You can even hang out in their dining area to the side of the truck. You will not be disappointed and I've got to say, this is the best in THE WEST!!! read more

I mean what can I say except YES, YES AANNNDDD YES!!! Lol I went to check it out based on the yelp reviews and a few negative ones ALMOST deterred me! However, I'm waaayyy too greedy to miss an opportunity to eat! Lol I went and I WON BABY! I bought carne asada tacos, one lengua taco (which I should have passed on... but I tried something new), and I ended up buying 2 pig skin tacos. I know... but listen. Lanette (great CUSTOMER SERVICE), let me sample the carnitas, pig skin and pig stomach. The carnitas was pretty good, the stomach was also pretty good but it's our version of "chitlins" which I don't eat anymore. So I didn't want that. But HUNTY that pig skin was SO FLAVORFUL!!!!!!! I got one of those and couldn't wait to eat it so I sat in my car. 3 minutes later I was back at the truck for another!!! LOL Lanette also let me sample Jamaica, Pineapple and Cucumber Agua Frescas. I promise I couldn't choose they were ALL so good. She mixed the pineapple and Jamaica and then the pineapple and Cucumber and I REALLY COULDN'T decide after that! I went with the Cucumber and pineapple and I all I know is... I should have bought two!!! Tacos Los Abundis is ABUNDANT in flavor, options and Customer Service! Definitely going back to try the menudo, Shrimp fries and more of the oink oink tacos!!! LOL!!! My gawd it's good!!!! Be careful, Lanette knows how to make you SPEND YOUR MONEY!!! She's GOOD! Found this place on yelp and decided to try it out, in my 20 years this has probably been the best choice i've ever made lol. I only come for the birria and let me tell you it is delicious and extremely fulfilling. Been coming here three days in a row now since i've discovered it and i've gotten the birria burrito which by the way is huge and tasty! The quesatacos are just as amazing and the best birria tacos i've tried so far compared to other places. Not to mention the prices are extremely reasonable compared to other places too. Here 2 birria meals was $22 and at most other birria places i'll pay $35 and up for that. The service is fast and attentive, i wait no longer than 15 minutes each time i came here. The environment is regular street food truck on willow and dalton but these hole in the wall places are better for me than any boujie restaraunt tbh they also have they're own little seating area next to the truck where you can sit inside and enjoy your food. I mean i can go on all day but save yourself the reading (and money) and enjoy some good ass birria here, you won't regret it. read more

Today, I decided to give it another try and stopped by for a small bite. I ordered the vampiro, but unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations. The meat lacked noticeable seasoning or flavor, which was particularly disappointing given the restaurant's claim of cooking with mesquite coals. The tortilla topping also appeared to be more like a pre-made tostada than a tortilla toasted over an open flame. Traditionally, I would expect a lightly charred tortilla, which adds flavor and texture to the dish. Based on this visit, the quality has not returned to what I remember from two years ago. I was disappointed with the food and do not plan to come back to this location or any other for that matter.

El Sauz is THE late-night munchies spot!…read more I've been coming here for years, and one of the things I love most is that they're open late. I've ordered food here as late as 2:30 AM! They have a sit-down restaurant, a karaoke room, and even a walk-up window outside if you're just looking to grab something quickly. They're known for their tacos and their spicy habanero salsa, which definitely is spicy, be warned. LOL If you're dining inside, the chips and salsa are top-tier. Sooooo good and addicting! My personal favorite is the shrimp quesadillas. They're tiny, but mighty when it comes to flavor! I also like ordering their oysters. So far, they've always been clean, fresh, and hit the spot. They also have Micheladas, both the traditional version made with alcohol and a non-alcoholic version made with mineral water. Both are really good, and I highly recommend giving them a try! And for dessert, the rice pudding is served cold, and it's honestly one of the best I've had. Everyone I've brought here has been happy with their food and their choices, which says a lot because I've brought many friends and family here. As far as parking goes, you can usually find street parking, there's a parking lot, and there's also parking behind the restaurant. I will say the neighborhood is a little sketchy, but if you're local, it's really not a big deal. If you're coming from outside the city and aren't familiar with the area, I'd recommend just dining inside. There's a lot of homeless and liquor store activities across the street. It's usually not a big deal, but again if you're not used to it, you may freak out. Overall, El Sauz is one of my go-to spots for the late-night munchies, post concert, club, bar etc.

Del Real Foods Birria is premade birria that tastes better than this, and you can buy it along with…read morea premade bag of diced onions and tortillas from almost any grocery store. We were so excited to try this place but left very disappointed. It was about $2.7 per taco considering 6 tacos were $16.5. So yeah, given the price, there are higher quality options locally. These unfortunately were crunchy, chewy, premade tortillas, cheese not grilled in properly, birria and chicken so dry and stringy and also tasted premade (you can tell when the meat doesn't retain the juice and is dry, and the flavor is stale), and pickled vegetables that somehow didn't taste pickled. The other problem was the portion of the consomé size, which was way too small. The best thing was the grilled onions and consomé because you literally can't possibly fk that up. Although the consomé was a bit too gravy-like, and thick which considering the quality of everything else...was off putting. Ambiance felt fast paced, cramped parking, and a little dirty from being dated but it also had a fun, casual nightlife vibe. The service was fast and kind. They answered questions quick and politely without rushing us out of line. We had really high hopes for this place. This was not a first time either, we tried these guys years ago but even then it was mid. Now it just confirmed it. We do not recommend coming here unless you are craving tacos you can't make at home with premade ingredients, or find at another restaurant.

Service overall was good-not spectacular but good. Things seemed to take a while to come out and it took a while to get the bill but really no big deal. Food was spectacular though. Super high quality. I loved my seafood chile rellano, they did not go cheap whatsoever on the filling and it was enough to eat the next day as well. My husband got the birria tacos (not pictured) and they were also really good but a little steep for not coming with rice and beans. Ceviche was fresh as well as guac but guac did not come with the chicharron like mentioned in the description. Enchiladas were good too, loved the heat of the sauce. We will be returning if back in the area soon!

I've been visiting this taco stand for six years, and it never disappoints! Their carne asada tacos are absolutely delicious, and the champurrado is a delightful treat. The stand is always clean, conveniently located near my home, and the staff are incredibly friendly. Highly recommended! read more
