    Carne asada tacos

The carne asada tacos were delicious! Meat was fresh, tortillas fresh! Service was amazing they have table service. Really liked how clean everything was inside and being able to see the kitchen.

The pastor tacos are absolutely phenomenal. My mouth is honestly watering thinking about them as I write this review. Absolutely delicious. The meat is tender, the avocado sauce is delicious (and I hate avocado). I opted for no red salsa since it's a little spicier than I'd like, but the avocado sauce on its own provided more than enough flavor. The meat was slightly burnt, but that's honestly a personal preference. I'll be sure to ask for less crispy ends next time. I'll definitely be back for the best pastor I've ever had.

Searched for a keto friendly restaurant while in Tijuana and Taconazo popped up as serving a taco with out tortilla but rather a slice of cheese grilled to perfection. I went with the Al pastor, they served it with beans on the plate, but I didn't eat them. BOMB 10/10 would recommend and definitely eating here again!

BBQ pork fully loaded tacos and pinto beans packed with flavor

Recommend by another out of town traveler and locals. So glad I listened the fully loaded bbq pork tacos were so dang good I bought extra packed them oh ice and flew 10 tacos home with me to the family who were also so blown away by the flavor we all want to fly back just to get the tacos again and don't look past their beans they are not your average bean they have tons of mouth bursting flavor and cheese!

Wow! This place exceeded any expectation I had. I had heard about this place from a co-worker and since it was only a couple blocks from my son's dentist we decided to stop by. I am so glad we did. At first we weren't sure how the ordering process worked so we headed to a table and sat down. A few minutes later a lady came with cucumber, radishes and limes. She then asked for our order. We ordered suadero, adobada, carne and tripe tacos as well as a flour quesadilla. For drinks Jamaica and coke light. As soon as one type of taco was done they were delivered. The tacos were extremely hot. I am such an impatient person I couldn't wait so I decided to burn my hands and enjoy my scorching hot tacos. The suadero was excellent. The meat was in chunks rather than shredded. It was very tender and was amazingly flavored. The salsa on top was good but a little spicy. Luckily I like spicy so I didn't mind. The adobada was perfect. This is the first taco restaurant that put large pieces of cooked pineapple in the taco. When it first arrived I wasn't sure what to think and pulled it out but then I ate it by itself and I was in love. I left the rest in the taco because it paired perfectly with the meat. The sauce and topping were all wonderful. The carne was perfect, an ideal carne taco. The guacamole was exceptional, some of the best I've had. I personally didn't try the tripe. My husband ordered that and he like it but it was his least favorite. My son's quesadilla was a good size and loaded with cheese. The prices are great and the service was good. The only downside was parking. There wasn't much nearby so we had to park a few blocks away. Definitely one of the better taco restaurants and I will be returning for more delicious tacos.

Very good. Wish they had better tortillas and more salsa options. Otherwise pretty good I would come back.

Fast, friendly, and, most importantly, YUMMM! I think I have ordered almost everything on the menu. I have never regretted what I ordered. Also if you are looking for a low carb friendly option, try the vampiro, which is a cheese tortilla instead of a corn tortilla and you choose the filling. It's pretty hefty so beware.

Tried this spot for the first time. Recommended from a family member. Glad I tried it! Delicious tijuana style tacos. Tried the asada & adobada. The tortillas are delicious. They are fresh as can be. The service is great as well and the location is perfect. Was a bit hard to find parking the time I came. I can see why though. Everyone wants to get their taco fix here lol.

These guys are ALWAYS on point. The taconazo burrito is crazy good too, a little bit of every meat the offer with cheese and onions and guacamole. Sooooooo delicious they hit the spot any time of the day!!

The Zona Rio location has a small dining area, that is very popular with both the locals and visitors. It is easy to see why. Their menu does not over dose on the standard morning and afternoon items that you would find anyplace. However, this is the first restaurant I've been to in Tijuana, that does not have an English menu.... so I had to labor through the Spanish menu. But, they do have unique dishes, thus making the visit adventurous, because it is difficult to choose. I went back and forth, and finally settled for their 3-egg omelet with asparagus and sheep cheese. It came with refried beans, strings of carrots and beets, small fired up tostadas and fresh tortillas (both blue and yellow corn). A small side of soggy chilaquiles was also served. A small flavorful salsa tray is also provided with 3 options, ranging from mild to hot. The asparagus spears were thin, cut up into small pieces and sautéed with mild spices. The outer egg covering soft and not overdone. If anything, there was too much sheep cheese, in certain portions of the omelet. I say this because it was an asparagus omelet, and it, instead of the cheese, should have been the star. Still, it did not take away from the other commendable aspects of the complete entree and its accompaniments. Before the meal, a small refreshing fruit plate is served. Coffee and overall service here, was mucho excellente.
