This place is a must try. Wait will be a little extensive but definitely worth the wait. Mainly because it's small with limited seating and cooked fresh. I always get the same order. Combination #3 as it comes with everything. To start, they serve chips with salsa and a side of pickled veggies as you are waiting for your order. Salsa is amazing. Pickled veggies are fresh. People have asked me which Mexican restaurant can I say has been the most authentic Mexican. Hands down, it has to be Super Antojitos in Tijuana BC. I must have been around 7-8 when we first came here(long time ago lol), but the flavor and all around deliciousness has always been in my mind. We would go several times a year, it's been a while but I hope to visit again soon. The enchiladas were absolutely amazing, the sauce was not from a can and tasted fresh and amazing. Topped with cotija cheese as I recall, not smothered in tons of melting cheese which is not something I have ever really liked. You don't see that here, they are made the right way. And have you ever tried a real authentic quesadilla? They make them here, made out of masa, stuffed with panela and deep fried, truly amazing! I recall they had a rolling cart filled with complementary pastries, that to me was icing on the cake. I don't know if they still do that but that memory is still fresh in my mind. So I truly recommend this place, it has always brought back fond memories and I can honestly say, this is true authentic Mexican! read more

One of my favorite spots when I come to TIJUANA. Highly recommended this restaurant. You also get a complementary fro the house delicious bread. Staff is very friendly. Sometimes it get busy but is totally worth it. If it get really but and I can't wait I go to ( Torta plaza also very delicious) parking is easy. read more

I came to this place because I saw reviews on yelp. It didn't take long for us to sit down place is casual dining . They have a huge selection on their menu. It took forever for the waitress to come take our order. The place is not huge at all. don't understand what took so long. When the food finally came . It was a disappointment. It was not what I expected. The food was greasy, rice was undercooked, and again the waitress took forever to bring our check so we could leave. I will never go back. read more

In my trip across the boarder, our taxi driver recommended this restaurant because it was authentic, popular, and located in an outdoor mall where there was other activates we could do afterwards like the movies, shopping, and etc. It was a tiny restaurant with maybe about 10 tables, and there was literally a line of families waiting to get in. Of course, everything was in Spanish and I depended on my husband to just order for me. We ordered combination 3. CONBINATION 3: It came with one of literally everything from a taco, sopa, enchilada, guacamole, beans, chalupa, and some meat dish. It was similar to a sampler plate. It was really fresh. Everything from the meat to even the taco shell was homemade. No wonder there is a line for this tiny place that's in the corner of the shopping mall. LEMONADE: ok you never honestly had lemonade until you tried this. It was literally people in the kitchen squeezing lemons into a pitcher with sugar and water. It was so pure that I just couldn't drink it, but couldn't stop because of how fresh it was. I knew from then on that I had nothing but artificial lemonade, and this is what fresh lemonade should taste like. TIRAMISU: I am not sure if its an American thing, but I always seem to get tiramisu with fake rum soaked into the lady fingers. If it is real rum, then its only a small amount because I don't smell or taste it. When I tried this, you can literally taste the rum. Don't get my wrong, it isn't soo much where you will be drunk, but it is a decent amount where you can taste the zing of the alcohol and the smell isn't overwhelming. It was so good that I took another slice home. PASTEL DE QUESO CON GUAYABA: Ok I am not 100% sure what this honestly is. BUT I will say that it was a mix of cheesecake and pudding. It was light sweet and really really creamy. It had a layer of sugar sauce all over it like a flan, and it was just a light dessert even thought it was so creamy. All in all, there was nothing really bad to say about this place except the service. Once we ordered and got our food, we never saw a waitress again. We had to actually get up and find someone so we can get more drinks or even get the bill. Besides the horrible service, everything else was good. I am not sure If we will come back because there are so many other places to try but from other customers said was that this is the place you want to try if you are crossing the boarder. read more

Delicious food, great prices, and quick service! Huevos a la Mexicana seasoned very well and very filling. Side of beans with cheese sprinkled on top were my favorite. Tacos dorados were very flavorful. Orange juice is freshly made. Salsa and complimentary bread were a great start to the meal. read more

Good authentic Mexican food. Service was ok. The new covid regulations where up to date. They follow regulations to the dot. There is a one hour time limit per party. Food come out fast and best of all the price 288 pesos for two big portion plates coffees and a side dish. 288 pesos is about 14 bucks. Can't go wrong. We crossed the border for a day trip in Tijuana. Glad to have discovered this place. There was a line when we went there for lunch. We waited for about 45mins in line. IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT. Our server helped us as much as we can with our food choices even with our very, very limited Spanish. The food was superb. The portions are big. And it was decent price too! This place is fantastic! Everything that we have tried here is always so well prepared. If you happen to walk up and there's not a line halfway down the plaza take advantage of it! The chicken is incredibly crispy, the enchiladas are soo savory, the caldo is comforting, the carne asada is cooked to perfection the Naranjada or limonada are equally amazing and the platanos for dessert are a great way to finish off a meal. If it's full of locals every Sunday after church, you KNOW it's got the goods. This place does have some of the meanest mole in the game. This place was ok, we came here on a Friday. The food was good, the service was shit! We waited in line for 25 minutes, then 15 minutes for the waitress to take our order. If you aren't local you will be judged and get looks, By the staff and some of the older customers. There was a lesbian couple sitting at another table that I witnessed also getting ignored and treated really poorly. My husband is Mexican but he's head to toe full of tats. This place thinks they are fancy or tries to be, lol. It's funny. I don't get all the great reviews I mean my mother in law makes better food. I mean shit I can! I rather eat tacos on revolution than come back here. I was absolutely amazed by this place. It was recommended by a bank manager, which didn't raise my expectations, but it was tremendous. The food was among the best I've had (it's more or less traditional Mexican style, but with more meat than you would find in a traditional meal), so it was significantly different from, say, Macdonald's, and the taste was unique. The spices were tasty, and if you wanted it to be spicier, they included a salsa that could be added. I had the Alambre and my wife had the chicken special, both of which would be highly rated anywhere in the world. Even though we were starving, it being 8 hours since breakfast, we couldn't quite finish either meal. One point: this is a small restaurant. Even at the best times (we were there mid-afternoon) you can expect to stand in line for half an hour. The food is worth it, though, if you have the time. read more

The food here is really good! I usually get one of their combination platters and a lemonade with agua mineral. Their decoration is nice and the place is maintained pretty clean. The dining area is very small and not good for anyone claustrophobic. The lines to be seated can be long at times but once you're in there is usually no problem. The reason for the four stars is because recently I came over an hour before closing time and they told me I could only do to-go orders because my group was larger than 4 people. My family has been going here for years and years. I remember going here as a child it's my parents favorite spot and go to place every time we go. Their food is good and although it's not tight squeeze and they usually have a wait it's really worth it. They usually have like a lunch special and it's very economical. This last time my mom and I went for breakfast. They brought us pan dulce and a small fruit cocktail we ordered Chile Verde enchiladas from their antojitos menu and i got coffee and she got an OJ and breakfast was on point. Total $12.
