We ordered the whitlacoche and the flor de calabaza omelets they were beans and chilaquiles ok I ordered an orange juice and asked if it was cold since here in Tijuana they bring OJ at room temperature. Came here during brunch and the place wasn't as busy. The decorations, plates, and cups because can be described as bright and vibrant. Service was good since we were sat right away, but it did take a quite some time to receive everything once we ordered. When everything arrived it looked amazing. I do have some critiques. Fat content on the asada was a little too much to my liking and there was a piece that came out bright red that I had to separate. Besides that everything else came out delicious. read more

Was expecting a great costumer service experience and amazing food. Left with none of the two. First, when I asked what water flavors they had, the server told me cebada, pepino and piña. I ordered piña. He came back telling me they didn't have it anymore. Ok, happens all the time. Second, once he was taking our order I asked for the quesadilla de rajas. He also left and came back only to tell me there was no more rajas. Ok, strike 2. Finally, after more than 40 minutes our food FINALLY arrived. My tortillas from my tacos were cold. How could you eat a cold tortilla taco? After all it doesn't take that long to make a Jamaica and chicharron taco. I asked the server for warm tortillas and he did bring them to me (thus the 2 stars). The food was just ok. Not amazing. The wait was ridiculous given that the place was empty!! Great breakfast place close to Av Revolución. The chilaquiles are amazing and so was the service. All the waiters really go out of their way to make sure you're happy. The male server sat a table full of girls after us and gave them their menus first, took their order first, and brought there food first. We live this place! The food here is phenomenal we were here in December and decided to come back today. Our server Brandon was super attentive and nice. He actually remembered us from serving us last time. They all seem to be a cohesive team that help one another. The price was perfect as well. The cafe de olla is amazing! Last time I had the machaca and today I had chilaquiles. My husband had the quesadilla last time and today Chile rellenos. We will be back and recommend coming here. Visited Tijuana for the day and my friend was craving an enchilada. Do you know how difficult it was to find an enchilada? We started off downtown, checked Yelp, and walked the mile or so to this restaurant. When we arrived, the door was opened for us, our temperatures were taken, hands sanitized, and we were seated. The restaurant was so clean. The staff was so friendly. Most did not speak English so I worked up as much Spanish as I could to order. The Yelp reviews said their Chilaquiles were THE best and they were not short of amazing. Although covered in a picante salsa roja, the chips were crispy. I added eggs and chorizo. The avocado, fresh and perfectly ripe. I had to try the pork belly and chicharron tacos. I only had one bite of each. Both meats were seasoned to perfection, but I still don't know which was which. They were just different preparations of the same animal after all. Both the green and the red salsas were good, just a hint of spice that burned for a moment, but was still enjoyable. They didn't have WiFi that day so I couldn't pay with a card without a chip. All the food in the picture plus a chile relleno, rice and beans was $20US. I was floored. I give this place 5 stars. It was worth the walk and thank goodness because after all we ate, we needed to walk it off. Definitely check this place out! read more

Is a nice little gem almost in the heart of el Centro . The food well let's put it this way, me and my sister hunt for good savory spicy chilaquiles occasionally every time we go to tj in the morning or my type of breakfast. We finally found it! The chilaquiles were great in flavor and they were spicy but in a good delicious way. Plus due to a delay on opening they offer us bread and coffee complimentary from the house. Freshly Orange juice!
