Desayuno con Chilaquiles de mole, nopales, chorizo y frijoles

This is one of my favorite spots in TJ! Delicious homemade food, great service, easy parking and cozy ambiance. Must try when you come!

Carne de puerco en salsa verde

By far the best place to eat here in TJ! This is my second time here and I'm not disappointed at all!!! The soups are yummy la de fideos and corn.... anything in the menu looks good, today we had the 3 tacos dorados shown in pics and it comes with a side soup. The bf got the carne de puerco en salsa verde and the noodle soup!

Authentic Mexican food that's served fresh! The salsa is spicy and amazing. The chopped onions are so fresh. The tacos are tasty. And the place is open 24 hours. And did I tell you about the fresh squeezed orange juice? Try it!

Caldo de Res

Delisioso!!!! Traditional food from various parts of Mexico. Like Grandma makes! Just found about this great place and I can't wait to come back!!

Caldo de res and albondigas were not hot at all. Lukewarm at best

The food is not that good here. I thought because of the ratings that I'd be blown away with authentic Mexican cuisine but sadly I was disappointed. First of all, our waiter was hesitant to continue taking our order because she felt we were ordering too much. Ummmm I shouldn't have been deterred but I was. She made me question myself lol and I didn't get to try some of the other things I wanted to try. -Mole was wayyyy too sweet and they were cold as hell (not kidding) -The red chilequilles were better than the red -Menudo was whatever -Albondigas was good but not hot, more like barely warm -Jamaica was delicious! -corn chowder thing was okay I forget what else we ordered but that should be quite telling on it's own. The food here was literally not hot and seemed like there was no love in it at all. It broke my heart, almost.

Rib eye, beans, baked potato , guacamole. Generous portion!

Fresh food. Clean and fast service. We will always go back here now that we have been there once. $22 American dollars for this two full course meals. Pan dulce and cafe de olla to go.

Jarocho breakfast plate. And

This is one of favorite places for authentic Mexican food particularly breakfast. The breakfast combos are the best deal as all combos comme with a side of beans, potatoes, chicharron en salsa roja and chilaquiles rojos. I ordered the Jarocho combo which is 3 enfrijoladas with egg filling and sprinkled with chorizo. For some reasom the chorizo wasn't really good this time, but everything else on the plate was delish. They also have a great natural juices selection. My fav is beets, carrots and orange juice. You can't leave without trying their cafe de la olla. Really good that you don't need to add anything else.

They sat us down right away they followed all COVID-19 precautions, excellent service, highly recommend. The café de olla is the best, a must try.

Great home made zacatecas style Mexican food. Beautiful ambience and great service They have a huge menu that took me a while to deside what to order because everything looks really tasty, finally we got a few diferentes dishes and shared them all, extra homemade tortillas kept coming I'm ready to come back .

What really sets this place apart is the outstanding customer service, the staff is welcoming, attentive, and treats every customer really nicely. The atmosphere is lively & outdoorsy, the prices are great, and the entire experience feels genuinely local and memorable. Whether you're a first-time visitor or a regular, this taco stand delivers incredible food that will keep you coming back for more. It's cash only btw.

It came highly recommended by both locals and fellow food lovers, and after seeing the incredible reviews, we knew we had to experience it for ourselves. We ordered a little bit of everything: tacos de tripa, tacos al pastor, tacos de asada, and an asada quesadilla. Every single item was packed with flavor and tasted incredibly fresh. The tripas were perfectly crispy without being greasy, the al pastor was juicy, well-seasoned, and had that classic balance of savory and slightly sweet flavors, and the asada was tender with a delicious char-grilled flavor. The asada quesadilla was generously filled with meat and gooey melted cheese, making it the perfect complement to the tacos. One thing I really appreciated was how convenient the ordering process is. They have a drive-through style setup where you simply pull up and park in front of the restaurant. An employee comes directly to your car to take your order, and once your food is ready, they bring it right out to you. It's such an easy and efficient experience, especially if you're eager to grab amazing food and get back on the road. It's easy to see why this place has earned such a stellar reputation. Between the authentic flavors, generous portions, friendly service, and convenient setup, this was the perfect way to kick off our trip into Mexico. I'll definitely be making this a tradition every time I cross the border.

If you are looking for a different type of place for breakfast in Tijuana, you will discover the…read morename, Marenca. The Zona Rio location has a small dining area, that is very popular with both the locals and visitors. It is easy to see why. Their menu does not over dose on the standard morning and afternoon items that you would find anyplace. However, this is the first restaurant I've been to in Tijuana, that does not have an English menu.... so I had to labor through the Spanish menu. But, they do have unique dishes, thus making the visit adventurous, because it is difficult to choose. I went back and forth, and finally settled for their 3-egg omelet with asparagus and sheep cheese. It came with refried beans, strings of carrots and beets, small fired up tostadas and fresh tortillas (both blue and yellow corn). A small side of soggy chilaquiles was also served. A small flavorful salsa tray is also provided with 3 options, ranging from mild to hot. The asparagus spears were thin, cut up into small pieces and sautéed with mild spices. The outer egg covering soft and not overdone. If anything, there was too much sheep cheese, in certain portions of the omelet. I say this because it was an asparagus omelet, and it, instead of the cheese, should have been the star. Still, it did not take away from the other commendable aspects of the complete entree and its accompaniments. Before the meal, a small refreshing fruit plate is served. Coffee and overall service here, was mucho excellente.
