Came to check this spot out and I can say it didn't disappoint. Place is nice and classy and well decorated. Food was really really good lots of savory flavors. My favorite were the patron chilaquiles especially that they added habanero peppers which gave it a great kick. I think their service was a bit inconsistent but other then that I can't wait to return.

Let me start with saying that's the tortilla soup is in my opinion the best soup I have ever had, I been. Coming here for a couple yrs and always order the soup, very authentic and with spicy kick . The mezcal drinks are good and service is very good. Valet parking is another plus. Quiet family environment , always love to come back with friends and family

Such a cute little spot to grab a bite to eat! We really enjoyed the torta we ordered and had a couple of beers to go with it. The chips and salsa were great--nice and spicy--and the service was excellent. We were also happy to find parking right in front, which was super convenient. We'll definitely be back again!

Fui a desayunar aquí solita. Pedí los aguachiles, la ensalada de nopal, y un mojito malagueña todo rico los meseros súper lindos. No es cuestión de si vuelva pero cuando! Gracias por una buena experiencia y hermoso ambiente Delicious food and wonderful service that won't disappoint you. Along with a happy vibe. Have vegetarian options as well. The question is not if I will come back but when I will come back! Thanks for am excellent experience

This was everything I wanted and more as my First meal after getting to Tijuana. I got to check a lot of the boxes of things I enjoy in one go and devoured all of it. Started off with the esquite / elote. Super creamy with the cotija and Tajín on top. This was a huge portion. I also got the ensalada de nopales. Cut up cactus with tomatoes and onions in oil and topped with avocados. Had to try some tacos. These were filled with vegetables, pickled onions and a crema. Got three chili's stuffed with cheese that were perfect spiciness. Everything was incredibly fresh and light. I ate all of this over two meals, but never felt uncomfortably full. Ordered three different aqua frescas - the Jamaica, pepino y chía, y limonada de fresa. They were all good, but way too strong. I would pour about a quarter into another water bottle. Not the worst, since they lasted me about three days. The strawberry was the best and the cucumber one has a lot of texture to it, so be careful! And naturally I had to get the churro waffles with chocolate. I'm salivating just thinking about it. Unfortunately, I tried all of the vegetarian options, but honestly it was so good that I have thought about ordering the same meal again!

First time trying this place I would go back mainly for the hibiscus flower tostadas those were delicious I highly recommend them service was also great they also have a play area where there's someone watching over the kids while you enjoy your meal which was great my only complaint was the tiny mixed drinks were packed with ice so each drink was literally a shot worth of cocktail I had 4 total they were good but literally had to drink the 4 so I can get 1 cocktails worth of drink reason why I took 1 star off desserts were also delicious I tried the chocolate icecream one and also the little apple tacos sorry I don't remember all the names of what we tried but hopefully pictures do it justice

The food flavor was something else...It was a new flavor for my tastebuds...something with a twist, it has me wanting to return. We had the steak and Chile Nogada. The Desert was also very mouth watering, it was a date pie. I'd never thought dates could change taste so good. We are definitely returning.

Authentic Mexican breakfast!!! Chilaquiles was just amazing!!! Server gave us tamales on the house and I must say I highly recommend it... I don't remember the name of the desert, best description I can think of is an ice cream taco topped with Mexico's finest lol.

Lunch and dinner is about the same. They make Mexican style fish and steak that is just perfect every time. All of their Mexican dishes are just wonderful. You can't go wrong. They even have bottled water--never drink the water there, just don't. They have the best rice and beans. The service is great. They make you feel right at home and even if you don't speak Spanish, most speak English and you will figure it out because they will help you. The prices are fair for what you get. At dinner I consider it fine dining. It is all good and you will be happy. The place is also clean and super comfortable.

The Zona Rio location has a small dining area, that is very popular with both the locals and visitors. It is easy to see why. Their menu does not over dose on the standard morning and afternoon items that you would find anyplace. However, this is the first restaurant I've been to in Tijuana, that does not have an English menu.... so I had to labor through the Spanish menu. But, they do have unique dishes, thus making the visit adventurous, because it is difficult to choose. I went back and forth, and finally settled for their 3-egg omelet with asparagus and sheep cheese. It came with refried beans, strings of carrots and beets, small fired up tostadas and fresh tortillas (both blue and yellow corn). A small side of soggy chilaquiles was also served. A small flavorful salsa tray is also provided with 3 options, ranging from mild to hot. The asparagus spears were thin, cut up into small pieces and sautéed with mild spices. The outer egg covering soft and not overdone. If anything, there was too much sheep cheese, in certain portions of the omelet. I say this because it was an asparagus omelet, and it, instead of the cheese, should have been the star. Still, it did not take away from the other commendable aspects of the complete entree and its accompaniments. Before the meal, a small refreshing fruit plate is served. Coffee and overall service here, was mucho excellente.
