The tacos in Mexico shells are homemade and bigger. The meat for taco tastes different , natural, and fresh. You do not automatically get chips and salsa, and when you ask, of course, the chips are homemade, and the salsa is fires as in hot. Although the main language is Spanish, they do use Google or have a person who spoke English to double check and make sure the order was correct. Great neighborhood place. Very authentic delicious Mexican Food, one of my go to places when I just want something good and simple to eat. I love their special fish soup of the house, probably because it is not in a red sauce but instead more of a fish stock. Everything I have ever eaten here has been delicious. Suculento!!! This is a delicious option in Tijuana and better than Super Antojitos in my opinion. Although the chilaquiles are made with tortilla chips instead of freshly fried tortilla strips, they're still better than the Maseca chips at Super Antojitos. Not spicy at all by the way. The meats were savory and thinly cut. The cheese is fresh and they also have healthy fresh pressed juice options. Definitely my favorite restaurant in Tijuana besides Tortas Ricardo. read more

Not sure why there are so many bad reviews. The pros: Service was stellar, our server was this nice lady, sweet and attentive. The place was clean The food was good You get traditional mexican bread while you wait. Nice and warm. The cons: Small place, so if you have a lot of ppl be prepared to wait Small parking lot, that only had one entrance/exit which means you have to back out to exit into one of the main streets. Your best bet is to part on the street somewhere. I came here with my sister and mom before heading to the dentist. I ordered red chilaquiles (I originally wanted green chilaquiles or green enchiladas and they didn't have green salsa this early.. . Which is one of the main reasons I gave it 4 stars besides not having horchata). The chilaquiles were all right, my sis helped me eat them. The salsa was good but they were a little too soggy. We heard someone order them next to us and he told them to make them extra crunchy...so for next time now I know. My mom ordered posole and my sister ordered menudo . I really enjoyed the menudo even more than my own chilaquiles. It reminded me of the menudo my grandma used to make in mexicali. It brought me to a wonderful place of nostalgia and that's the reason I gave it 4 stars. When you walk in you smell the warmth and love for food just like when you head into your grandma's kitchen when visiting. Hopefully if you visit this place you receive the same service we did. Stopped by this place after a dentist visit. They brought out some bolillo with a small plate of beans once we sat down and ordered. I ordered Papas con Chorizo with a side of chilaquiles and it was amazing! Service was friendly and place is very clean. I will definitely be coming back. read more

They closed right as we were about to walk in at 5:30 on a Sunday night and sent my friend and I away.

My family was met with hostility on behalf of a woman who worked the register. Upon being ignored after placing our order, this same woman literally closed the door on other customer's face claiming that is time for the restaurant to close, the Food arrived after about 25 minutes of waiting. It was cold and frankly not that good. Their card system was faulty and sketchy having double charged my account. Upon explaining this issue to the server we experienced verbal harassment and discrimination, having slurs and offensive language form the woman claiming to be the owner's daughter. I have never experienced such disrespect, it truly was unpleasant and will never be returning to that aweful place. read more

wish i gave it NO stars... on one of my tijuana visits i came here worst costumer service!!! i gave it another try on another visit for breakfast and ordered chilaquiles and a sope de carne aside on the side.. as i was chewing my sope i noticed something chewy but very hard.. i spit it out and it was a piece of PAPER folded into a small ball! i told the waitress and she just said "oh, wonder how that got there"... and just threw it away without telling the cook or manager or anything... after that i starrted on my chilaquiles and the was A LONG ASS HAIR in my food!...
