Culichi Pescado plate.

A friend recommended this place for some good seafood. We are from out of state (WA, not Wa DC)so we love fresh seafood. The place was fairly clean and the service was super friendly. The portions are huge and food tasted fresh.

* good seafood * micheladas are great * service is prompt *Good for takeout * casual ambiance Food is always great here when in the neighborhood we like to stop by. Cucaracha shrimp is our go-to appetizer today we got 7 mares and a fish taco. The flavors never disappoint. Must try it if you're around and want some hood mariscos highly recommend the Pescado Zarandiado this plate can be sharable.

The food here was delicious, cooked at the moment so be ready to wait a little bit. The service was excellent!

Cup of soup to start

Been here a few times, food is always good, even if a little pricey for a few things. They give you a little cup of consume (soup) to start. I got the shrimp and fish soup, huge, lots of fish and shrimp. Lemonade is fresh and good. My only complaint is that service is always very slow, so plan to wait. Nice location.

Al Tata Tostada

I've been here a few times but I don't think I will be spending my money here anymore. The food was mediocre, the fish tacos were good but nothing extraordinary (you can get better tacos at the roachcoach). The michelada and clamato were ok. What was definitely a "must not have", was their tostadas - the aguachile, ceviche de camarón and Al tata ($20) tostada was just bad, big disappointment. The aguachile is basically water with Chile verde- no lime or salt and mainly red onion. The tostada Tata has no flavor other than the black pasilla salsa on top(I'm assuming it's pasilla) and it's really bad. The worst part is they are understaff and the service is not the best for a Mexican sea food place that you would usually get at other sea food restaurants. The only thing I would say it's good it's their consomé (free with purchase ) other than there isn't much else nice to say. I imagine they are cutting down on quality of ingredients, you can tell. Even the ketchup seems watered down. If you do decide to come here, don't get anything that is not cooked/fried.

Chips and Soup With Every Order

Had it not been for Groupon, I'd probably never have found myself in this restaurant but I'm glad it worked out this way. Fish Mart is located inside a shopping center off of Dairy Mart Rd. It's big, open and super clean with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. They have a wide range of Mexican seafood dishes but yours truly was on the hunt for tacos and tacos I did find. Our super cool waiter was friendly and promptly brought us a fresh basket of chips, lime wedges, salsa and seafood soup, all of which are complimentary. I ordered 3 tacos: one surf & turf (carne asada and shrimp), one bacon-wrapped shrimp and one deep fried shrimp poblano taco. This was a tonnnnnnnnn of food but it was fresh, piping hot, delicious and made with high quality fish. Since this was nowhere near being a mission for healthy food, I also opted for the tamarind margarita. It was about 24 ounces of sweet, spicy, boozy deliciousness that served as the ying to the yang that were my tacos. Tasty. Last but not least, they typically have live music as well. Despite being Sunday afternoon on a rainy December day, a 4-piece mariachi band belted out an impressive set and even honored my request for some Xmas music with a great rendition of "Feliz Navidad." I'll be back for more tacos, margs and mariachi. Soon, sooooooon.

Tacos Mar y Tierra Combo. My husband LOVED IT. Again the food is freshly made and AUTHENTIC

Either way looked fast paced got people in n out so shouldn't be a wait. A bit loud inside with TVs and music playing. The food was pretty good I liked the cooked camarones they had the best and the mescal drink. The churros were nice nothing to crazy on flavor but presentation wise if fun and attention seeking so plus plus if you usually order fajitas and like the eyes on you. The jicama taco is pretty interesting fresh and taste great not a usual thing but good. Our server Gerardo Rodriguez was awesome the whole time he made sure we have everything we need and still check on us the entire visit

This place named itself "sushi bar," but it also says it's an authentic Mexican seafood restaurant?…read moreThat feels like an identity crisis lol. I was given chips, salsa, and an appetizer soup thing in a cup. The chips were fine. I thought the soup was alright. I didn't like the salsa as I found it too watery and lacking in flavor, more like a hot sauce than a salsa. I ordered two hand rolls, a spicy tuna roll and a salmon skin roll. I thought they were good. I found the salmon skin too crispy and deep fried for my preference, but it was still good. Finally, I realized that not only do I never eat authentic Mexican seafood, I'm not even sure what that entails. So I dug through the menu and saw something called "Don Tono," described as stuffed with seafood, but without much other explanation. I asked the waitress what this Don Tono is exactly, and to my surprise, she wasn't sure either. So, of course I had to order it. It was a big thing of aluminum foil with goodies inside, kinda like a seafood bake. It was good, although I found the flavor to be a undertuned. I would've liked some Cajun seasoning. The best texture and taste was probably the fish itself as it was light and flaky without being mushy, and it absorbed the umami of some of the other seafood. I thought the shrimp and shellfish were just okay, and maybe just a tad overcooked for me. Honestly, I was also not a huge fan of the cheese here; I feel like it doesn't quite fit. I also got some rice and salad with it, which were both fine.

I got a couple rolls to go as well as some edamame. All serviceable, nothing remarkable but an…read moreinexpensive option for some decent sushi! Fun decor in this place! When I came in to pick up my food there was no one at the host stand and it seems like there was one waiter running the whole show during busy lunch time. Little teeny tiny parking lot but it's right across from the shopping centre parking so not a big deal.

What sold us was the photo of the Octopus SARTENEADO, & yes it was tasty, soft, & slow cooked in a well seasoned bath of butter. The rice has a hint of saffron, and the vegetables were nicely roasted. The table salsa is excellent and the complementary chips are doused in a bright red savory chili powder. We also ordered the trio of aguachiles, prepared with 3 different chiles; one green, one red, & lastly a dark blackened chili. Our favorite was the black aguachiles. They have plenty of mixed drinks & beer to offer, we had the hibiscus drink with mezcal. Everything is a 5 out of 5, including customer service. Heads up it's a very busy restaurant and parking is valet only. If you happen to have children with you they also have a separate play area for the kiddos; which is great if you happen to have an energetic toddler that needs a temporary distraction. The ambiance overall is very nice. I did notice it's somewhat casual to formal dinning, and very well staffed. It''s a great restaurant & I highly reccomend it.
