This is the adobada, the asada is even better, it's gone!

Best Tacos I've ever had! I'm from Texas and generally not as fond of California tacos, but these are just perfectly balanced. Everyone there is very nice and welcoming, not much English and my Spanish sucks, but it's very casual and everyone is friendly. This is our 3rd visit while staying here and we've had several others that don't compare.

Hands down my favorite taco spot. They're always consistent, reasonably priced, and so delicious. I've tried sooooo many taco spots in tj/playas and these are my top for sure. Hack: any taco you get, you can replace the tortilla with a handmade tortilla. The carne asada tacos already come with it, but all the other ones come with a store bought tortilla. Even with those, still delicious. Good parking lot with an attendant on duty watching the cars. Slip him a couple bucks too. Fast service anywhere you sit.

It was our first night in TJ during LDW, so we decided to get some tacos for a late night snack! The adobada trompo caught my eye, so I decided to see what was cooking in the kitchen. The guy behind the counter was quick in making the tacos and there was also a lady whipping up fresh tortillas. We grabbed a table and someone took our order. I got the adobada, carne asada, and birria tacos. I was disappointed that they didn't have any fresh juices or horchata, so I chose the a canned orange juice. The tacos were decent and the establishment is clean, but I've had better ones elsewhere. It was nice that they also give grilled onions, radish and lime, and cucumber slices along with your meal. You also get some complimentary candies after you pay as well.

    Covid precautions, limes, radishes, pepinos...

Taco crawls in TJ are unlike any other place, and if you say otherwise, my hair is pulled back and my fists are up, let's get ready to rumble! This is my second favorite place, first is Elvias tacos! Honestly, I've never had a TJ taco do me wrong. I've had tacos from many other states and cities in Mexico: Sonora, Mexico City, Michoacan, Quintana Roo, the list goes on and on...TJ is on it's own level. LA can brag all it wants, their best tacos will never come close to the tacos in good old TJ!

Way overpriced and not great. Guacamole tasted weird and not fresh. They also put beans in the tacos?? Wouldn't come back.

Not my favorite tacos, ambiance was casual and chill. But the flavors weren't there for me, unfortunately.

Tacos are good, The tacos are not cheap compared to other places. LENGUA tacos are ridiculously EXPENSIVE about USD 4.70 each.

They had about 6 to 8 tables and they cooked right in front of their eyes. Yes their dining area shared the same room as their kitchen yet it wasn't stuffy or smelly. The kitchen was clean to SERVICE: The servers spoke decent English which was good because we don't speak a word of Spanish and finding someone to communicate with in English was a breather. They were courteous and helpful. FOOD: As we didn't eat beef or pork, it had become rather difficult finding a place serving chicken. I was surprised at this but then when we googled chicken on google maps, this restaurant showed up. We walked in with not many expectations because the place had no reviews on Google and didn't even show up on Yelp. Surprisingly though, the food was excellent. The chicken was grilled and was soft and juicy. My friend ate off half a chicken. Phew! The prices were cheap. 45 pesos... 3 dollars, for quarter chicken with a side of rice and beans. Their salsa was yummy too and it was hot which definitely is my taste. The only thing I missed here was Guacamole and it would have been a 5 star review if this place served it. It might not sound fair but yes that's my opinion. They had burgers and onion rings and fries but no guac. Also it would have been good to have one or two more options in chicken. But well what they served was good too. I can come back here again if I'm in the area :)
