    Assad and nopal tacos

Ivan was very friendly and helpful. Great selection of aguas frescas and asada tacos are so good. Great flavor and super soft meat Love love this place

Tacomasa is super super conveniently located right between both downtown Brea parking structures- I didn't even know they existed and have breakfast burritos as well as vegetarian options! The tortilla is one of those giant fat-arse rounds able to hold a real two handed burrito. It's substantial and made with real eggs! Not from carton precracked eggs and I know this because I ate several pieces of eggshells. From those shells I know they used white shelled eggs and not brown shelled. Other than that no real complaints. It's a decent price for a meatless burrito that I couldn't finish in one sitting without going into a food coma.

Mulita with adobada meat & 2 carne asada tacos & 1 tripa taco.

Honestly this was a somewhat disappointing experience for my hubby & I. I can see this being an attractive location for those that don't care for well seasoned food, it's in Brea so that checks out. As for this Chicana that loves her food well seasoned I found this place lacking. I got 1 asada taco & 1 mulita with adobada (pork meat) & hubby got 1 asada taco & 1 tripa taco. We both were disappointed with the lack of flavor in the meats. We also got an elote and it was more cobb than corn because the corn we ordered had very thin kernels. For the price of $5 a taco, $6 for mulita, & $7 for the corn it was disappointing overall. I gave a two star instead of 1 though because the one thing I truly enjoyed was their guayaba limon agua & the service was good & the location was clean. To mi gente out there that like well marinated, seasoned meat skip on this place, but for you that like light to no seasoned meat this is your gem.

Great service, great location. Very clean. I've been to a different location. I think I like this one a lot more. The food was really good.

We were around the area and decided to stop by here for lunch. It's a small taco shop, but plenty of patio seating. I got to try 2 carne asada tacos, and my bf got a quesadilla a lengua taco. It didn't take too long to receive our order, so service was pretty efficient. The tacos are on the more "pricier" side compared to street tacos, maybe because these are considered more gourmet or so? Although, I wouldn't really say it's not as premium. The guac that they had with the taco was pretty nice. The carne asada cuts on the taco were thicker than usual, has a smoky flavor to it which was pretty nice. Tacos were pretty standard. I tried my bf's quesadilla and it honestly tasted more like a cheese taco than a quesadilla. The proportions don't seem to be quite right for a quesadilla since there was more meat and less cheese. Overall, it was not bad. Personally, I feel like Tacomasa gives me more Americanized taco vibes. I don't really feel the authenticity here, but it's pretty decent. Nothing too special.

I had a strange craving for tacos today and was feeling adventurous. After some quick research, the fam decided on Tacomasa in Brea. I got 2 asada tacos and everything had amazing quality and came with cilantro, guacamole, onions - everything you would get on your taco. I got the pineapple drink and it was amazing. We also got the elote, a corn on the cob with cheese and sauce on it - very good. The service was nice and the ambiance was very pleasing. Tacomasa is one of the great taco places around Brea, and my parents and I are hoping to come again.

Great service from Jonathan today! Food is always delicious. I used to go to the LB location, so happy to have this location close to me. :)

I've visited Taco Masa along with two other locations, and to be honest, this one was the best of the three. The staff were incredibly friendly especially the cashier who took my order. She walked me through the menu with such patience, and even though I was there around 9 p.m. on a Saturday, it wasn't overly crowded, just a steady stream of customers. I had tacos and corn on the cob (Elote) , and both were fresh and full of flavor. But the real highlight was the agua Fresca. It's $3.50 with free refills! I tried the watermelon, cucumber and lemon which was definitely my favorite. I wasn't a fan of the guava. The staff were also on top of cleaning tables often, and while the restroom was overall clean, it did need some serious flooring work. just a hardware issue, not the staff. The location is on a busier street in downtown Brea, so parking is a bit tricky. Be careful as some spots have a 20-minute limit, but if you drive just a bit further, you can find longer parking. Prices were decent, tho not cheap, but fair, especially for the quality. All in all, the standout was definitely the staff, so hardworking and attentive. I'll be coming back for sure!

Really good experience. Their place has a simple menu, and I appreciate how hard they try to present the hole in the wall type of atmosphere in an area like Brea. The service is solid and they walked the singular asada taco up to my table, which was nice. The taco itself was so good. For around $5 I got a pretty hefty taco with a ton of meat. Had a good mix of flavors. I'd definitely come back for a larger order.

    Asada tacos - deluxe trio
    Jung Min L.

Stopped by this place for lunch and ordered the deluxe trio asada tacos, and I was really impressed. It looks like they opened not too long ago, so this is a newer taco spot. The staff was extremely friendly from the moment we walked in, and the restaurant itself was very clean. What I really appreciated was that the staff allowed us to sample the different meats before ordering, which made it easier to decide since they offer several options. I ended up going with the classic asada and ordered the deluxe trio option. The portion size was huge compared to the traditional tacos. I was honestly full after about one and a half tacos, so if you're not a big eater, two tacos will definitely be enough. For most guys, I think the deluxe trio is the perfect amount. The meat was cooked to perfection and tasted amazing. They also provide a sauce of your choice, and you can request a side of jalapeños, which I absolutely loved. Another thing I liked was that the cooking area is behind a glass wall, so you can watch the chefs cook live. I thought that was very transparent and reassuring. The staff was constantly cleaning and maintaining the area, which really stood out to me because a clean environment is so important when you're eating out. I really hope the quality and overall experience stay consistent. Sometimes restaurants are great when they first open, but quality can drop over time. That said, I absolutely loved this taco place and would definitely return. Amazing quality, generous portions, and very friendly staff. Love this place.

Craving a breakfast burrito and got the adobada supreme. Flavor was so good but not sure if there was sour cream. Restaurant was clean and service was good

    Chicken tacos

Service was great! Elote was warm and delicious. My chicken tacos were good as well. A bit more seasoning would have sealed the deal. My son loved his crispy fries. Everything was really clean and service was great. I'm giving 4 stars because I had to keep asking for napkins and salsa. I would prefer for napkins to be somewhere where I can get them myself and preferably a salsa bar. I wanted more lime but didn't want to bother them asking for things. But other than that everything was great! Great location and friendly staff

They also have a large covered outdoor patio with ceiling fans. I had the taco and enchilada combo ($14), with a carne asada taco (+$1) and a shrimp enchilada (+$3.50) with green sauce. The plate also comes with rice and pinto or black beans. You order at the register, and your food is delivered to your table. The enchilada was great, filled with perfectly grilled shrimp, and a nice layer of gooey cheese on top. There was extra cheese on the plate above and below the enchilada which made it even better. The green sauce was great and had a very mild heat. They don't skimp on the tacos here. Two flour tortillas hold a ton of flavorful carne asada and it is topped with lettuce and pico de gallo. They have a great salsa bar, and I always enjoy the salsa verde and some lime wedges with my tacos. The rice is light and fluffy, and I drench it with salsa verde. I usually don't care much for beans. The last time I had lunch here, the pinto beans were very watery and bland. This time, they were much better and I ate almost all of them. There was a lot of extra green sauce from the enchilada on the plate which helped. The woman at the ordering register was very friendly and wished me a great day. The gentleman who delivered my food and cleared my table was also very pleasant. This plate is a little on the expensive side with the premium upgrades ($23.50 after tax and tip), but it was delicious and very filling.

I tried four different tacos and a mini Mexican pizza. The filet mignon taco had great flavor, with extremely tender, soft meat. The taco de arrachera followed suit and didn't disappoint. Although these tacos were well seasoned, they still required toppings to elevate the flavor--chili, onions, cilantro, lime, etc. The pulpo taco was my favorite item I ordered. The octopus was super soft and chewy--exactly what you would expect texture-wise. Adding toppings like pickled onions and salsa made this taco especially enjoyable. When ordering the tripa taco, the cashier specifically asked if I wanted the meat crispy or non-crispy. I chose non-crispy. However, when I tried the taco, the meat was hard. Much of it was overcooked, and I felt like I was chewing on a piece of charcoal. I don't know if my order was prepared incorrectly or if this is what they consider non-crispy. If that's the case, I'd hate to taste the crispy version. I can't fathom the meat being any more burnt than it already was. Again, toppings were a must on this taco--they helped dilute the overwhelming charred flavor. Lastly, the Mexican pizza. I ordered mine with arrachera. The presentation looked amazing, but the flavor was simply good. It comes loaded with toppings--sour cream, guacamole, onions, cilantro, and more. Perhaps the abundance of toppings overwhelmed the palate. I'm not entirely sure. Would I come back? Definitely. Would I recommend it? Absolutely. Do I think some menu items could use a little more pizzazz or a few slight refinements? Unequivocally. The cashier was friendly, knowledgeable, and able to recommend popular menu items. The ambiance was relaxed, with Hispanic music playing in the background, creating a chill atmosphere. Also of note you're paying for primecut meat. So expect to pay up. Lol
