    Top, carnitas; bottom: pollo

Taquería de Anda is located in a shopping center off of Imperial Hwy and Kraemer. It's easy to locate and access and parking is plentiful. Both indoor and outdoor seating is available. Decor is limited, really just consisting of the tables and chairs. Your food is prepared as it's ordered and condiments can be added to your liking. Pay for and get your food around the corner at the register. The employees are friendly and efficient. I ordered a taco de pollo and a taco de carnitas with cilantro and cebolla with green sauce on the side. Both were generously filled with protein, but the flavor just wasn't there. Although the carnitas were tender, they were bland. The pollo had more of a char flavor from the grill than actual seasoning flavor. The corn tortilla was the dominant flavor in both tacos. With so many taco places to choose from in the area, I'm not likely to return here.

These burritos are filling! Needed a quick lunch break in between shopping and we were craving some Mexican food. So glad they opened a location in BREA vs driving down to Fullerton. The hubby usually gets tacos but he opted for his Al pastor burrito and since I don't eat meat I opted for the bean and cheese burrito. My bean and cheese burrito was filled and they didn't scrimp on the filling that I needed to stop half way just from Being full. My husband said the Al pastor was so tender and favorable that he bought another to take home for later.

Quick dinner with my son. He had al pastor tacos and I had a wet carnitas burrito. Order at the counter and your food is prepared right in front of you. Pay at the register and pick your seat in the restaurant. Ambiance was something between fast casual and fast food. Everything tasted good and I couldn't finish the burrito.

Our normal go to de anda is the placentia one but since we were in Brea we decided to get lunch here thinking it would be the same thing. We noticed a big difference in our burrito the size.... It was a lot skinnier and only came with a small scoop of meat and they charged extra for carne asada meat... the tortilla was also dryer cause they heat it up using the heated press vs on the flat grill. The burritos weren't as tasty either the meats were bland, only the hot sauces tasted the same. However the service was excellent and the store seemed cleaner and in better location vs the Placentia store you feel like you're in TJ but they got way better food and fat tasty burritos.

Worst tacos period. The name screams Mexican taco and as a Mexican I am very disappointed. Presentation was so misleading. Nice looking tacos stuffed with lots of meat just to get you excited for nothing. I had the carne asada tacos and the chicken. Chicken was flavorless and dry. The carne asada dry, chewy, and flavorless. They choose quantity over quality, but what's the point in having extra meat if it isn't edible. I'll never come back here ever. Youve been warned

Not only is the food delish but the service is great too. About 20 of us gathered here after a run. Not only were we thirsty, we were starving too. The staff took such great care of us. For a small store, they were able to accommodate all of us inside. We ordered platters of tacos and they were ready shortly after we all arrived. All the different tacos were labeled and set up for us, along with chips and salsa and drinks. We couldn't have asked for more. Of course, everyone loved the tacos too. We had asada, pastor, carnitas, pollo, lengua and cabeza. All of it was great (though I didn't personally try the lengua and cabeza). My favorites were the pastor and asada. All the food disappeared quickly. The chips and salsa were very popular too. The salsas were delish. Everything went so well we already decided that we would do this again soon.

We parked across the street near an intersection with a stop sign. Our table inside had a nice view of the Placentia Water Tower, and it felt somehow relaxing to gaze at it in the distance. I ordered the pork carnitas ($18), which included pico de gallo, rice, refried beans with melted cheese, and three warm tortillas. The portion size was large, and I took a some carnitas home. While the carnitas were tender, they weren't as juicy as I hoped. They provided only three tortillas that lost their warmth quickly in parchment paper. The rice had a good texture that had the right amount of firmness. I also tried the guacamole, which had a somewhat fluffy texture with a pleasantly light and savory flavor. While not affecting my review of this restaurant, I wish they served a mole dish.

Luckily, that finally changed and we caught them open! This is a true family-run business, and if you haven't tried it yet, you should. We ordered a 2-item combo with a cheese enchilada, shredded beef taco, rice, and beans, and it was amazing. We also got the chicken à la diabla, and I can honestly say I've never had an à la diabla sauce that good at a restaurant. Everything tasted homemade and so comforting that it felt like leaving a friend's house after a meal his mom made. The vibe was fun, the service was great, and we were lucky enough to have the son taking care of us, which made the experience even better. Thank you for an amazing meal and great conversation. Salsa was flavorful, chips fresh and crunchy, chori-queso was the MVP of our meal. We also order a build your own burrito and 2 crunchy tacos. The menu has a good amount of options and next time we will try the loaded churros! This places offers take-out and catering. The prices were very reasonable. The bartender acknowledged us right away and brought us menus. They had the hockey playoffs on the TV which was great cause we've been tuning in lately too! My fiancé decided on the house margarita and said it was delicious. Even though it was a "small" (they also come in "large") it was a very reasonably sized marg. She said it was pretty strong, so props for that haha. We stuck to the appetizer menu and went with a steak quesadilla and a shrimp ceviche. The Quesadilla was amazing: tons of queso, poblano chilis, and the steak was so juicy. You could really taste every ingredient in this thing. If we go back, I would definitely order it again. The ceviche was my fiancé's favorite, tasty shrimp, peppers, and avocado in a bomb orange/lime juice. I had to stop her from straight up slurping it up like a soup. She was a big fan, and she orders ceviche often. This was our first visit to Cha Cha's and we really enjoyed it. We've seen it a bunch of times while in downtown Brea, so we thought we'd give it a try, and I guess we've been missing out! The ambience was nice: not too loud, strong drinks, long menu, friendly staff, sports on the tv, and I was shocked when I saw the bill, very reasonably priced. We'll be back, for sure!

The FOOD: 4.5/5 | Drinks: 5/5 Off the appetizers, we had the pork belly bites and dirty fries! First dish came with a long hot pepper, several mini tortillas, and 2 dipping sauces. The pork was crunchy on the outside and soft+succulent on the inside. I can see myself doubling up on this appetizer the next time I come. Dirty fries were great; it came with a generous amount of pickled onions - providing a really nice contrast to the savoriness of our meal. Our waiter graciously accommodated our request to have the egg on the side. Off the entrée/taco menu, my friend ordered the Korean tacos and I got the Ensenada (fish) tacos. But you can also order the Ensenada tacos with shrimp. These were delicious, I would have loved a little more lime crema to go with the fish - but not a big deal. I got a Watermelon Margarita. I wasn't expecting it to be HUGE, but it was the perfect amount considering how much food we as a pair ordered. My friend ordered the La Toxica table side cocktail and one additional mango cocktail.
