We like it here most days but Sundays are terrible. You're at a Mexican restaurant with a guy playing the Sax. It's not something we really liked or mixed with football games at the bar and it was loud. We couldn't even talk next to each other without shouting. read more

Found this place by accident. Food was good drink selection was great a little bit of everything for everybody. But the one thing I'm big on is customer service. Lara was the bartender and her customer service was off the charts. She greeted us with a smile and went out of her way to make sure to answer any questions we had. Even had the time to chat with us for a bit. I suggest come Saturday afternoon to get great service. We will he back. read more

Great breakfast burritos!! I don't have pictures because I vacuumed up my food into my mouth. The menu is huge but I got the nopales breakfast burrito and wow so delicious. A few family members came, on a Sunday afternoon to celebrate my cousin's Birthday. The outdoor atmosphere was great and nicely decorated. My cousin even sang a solo with the live musician that was playing, music was great by the way. The food came fast and delicious as was our waitress who handled all of our food and drink orders. I'm from riverside but currently live in Phoenix Arizona. We came to visit and me and the wife where craving Mexican food so we went to eat here and it was not what we expected. The food did not deliver, I order 3 carne asada tacos and wifey ordered 3 chicken enchiladas. My tortillas where raw and carne asada did not have flavor. A little hidden spot but the red and yellow caught my eye while driving. I brought the hubby here to try it out. The ambiance is awesome. Gast station but car lover vibes. Totally what wete into. The food is excellent. Great portions. We had the torta combo, floutas and a burrito. The beans have chorizo which is deeee beeest. I give this place a 10. Everyone is polite, great service and fast too. If u want a favorite taco spot here it is. Oh and ps the salsa is incredible, normally green salsa doesn't have a kick and this green salsa does not fail at being tasty, gentle but still has a kick. Food is very basic. But one star is because they charge $4.50 for a small and I mean VERY small side of sour cream. If you're looking for authentic, this isn't the place, I'm from LA, so I tried being lenient, but this still isn't worth it. Especially after charging $4.50 for an extra small sour cream. Second time here :) Ordered two shrimp tacos and they were big and delicious! I also ordered a carne asada Gordita for my mom and she truly loved it! Ordered carne asada fries but they were pretty plain for my liking. I didn't like that it had yellow melted cheese instead of actually shredded cheese. They're pretty light on the meat portions. I came here usually for their food but I noticed on my receipt they have changed their prices. I would came here because it was great for the budget to get something quick and fast. My last visit was a disaster. I seen the receipt while waiting for the order and noticed the prices was raised and on top of that were already suffering with the city tax raised. Well this place used to be my favorite around town but now the Food used to be really good and priced well until my last visit. I paid almost 14 dollars for a chilaquiles burrito that doesn't even include meat,cheese,sour cream or eggs.. they tried charging me 3 dollars just for one egg.. This plain chilaquiles burrito used to be 9 dollars how is that possible ??? At least make it worth your money for the price and make it bigger then a small size. So we paying credit card fee and more city tax and on top a price raised on the food??? My family or friends unfortunately won't come back anymore since if you want a fully loaded chilaquiles burrito is going cost over 24 dollars... GREEDY is real ! The food is good and prices are lower than San Jose Bay Area. The fish tacos have good sauce and the soaps are crunchy. The only problem is the food comes out warm instead of hot. They cold use a little more sauce. read more

I hadn't been to Taco Station in quite a few years because I don't get over that way too often, but decided to go today because they were contributing a portion of their food sales to a local charity that I support. I am glad that I did! I ordered the fish taco plate with 2 tacos, rice, beans, and a few chips. The beans were OK, but seemed like they were from a can. The rice was nice and fluffy with a garlicky flavor that I enjoyed. The fish tacos were big, and the fish tasted fresh. As big as they were, they could have used a little more crema sauce. They have a nice salsa bar, but pro tip; The chunky salsa you might think is the mild one is NOT the mild one. Even so, it was tasty and worked wonders for my sinus issues. The restaurant itself is colorfully themed as a mid-century gas station/auto repair shop because that's what the building used to be a long time ago and they are honoring that heritage. Service was quick and friendly. Taco Station will definitely go back into my rotation of Mexican food restaurants. read more
