Stopped in on Cinco de Mayo because - Mexican food, why not? It was our first time here and we loved it. I got 2 tacos: shredded chicken and carne asada. The meat in both was flavorful, juicy and tender - not the usual chewy gristle most places dole out. My husband got the Mayan pork tacos and raved about them. This place is AMAZING! My office just moved from the borough of West Chester to this area and a lot of us were bummed we wouldn't have the great food around us anymore. This place blows Jaco Taco out of the water (taco wise). I got two tacos, soft (corn tortillas). One with carne asada and one with the carnitas. So freakin' good. Everything was so fresh and made to order. My family is part Mexican so I decided to try a tamale (pork with red sauce) from here, too (with low expectations because nowhere has good tamales really) and it tasted just like my Grandmas tamales! So authentic and so so so good. I was so full from the two tacos that I had to give most of the tamale away to a co-worker though. They definitely don't skimp you on the meat in the tacos. Very great option for local Mexican food. Authentic and made fresh. Prices are reasonable and this is a favorite for my teenage sons. I went in to get a burrito and quesadilla and the kid making my food dropped some chicken on the ground, picked it up off the ground, then proceeded to wrap my burrito and handle my food without switching gloves, all while talking to the manager who saw the whole thing. Ridiculous lack of cleanliness and I will not be going back. I didn't even risk eating everything and had to throw out $15 worth of food. Do not go here if you want clean food and service. read more

I am literally obsessed with Taco Maya. It's similar to a Moe's or Chipotle but a million times better. It's always busy but service is always fast. The meats are so delicious and marinated just right. I normally get a quesadilla and change up the meats. The quesadilla is so cheesy and good!! Gauc is fresh and yummy and I love that they have a little salsa station to get your own. If I could eat here every day, I would. If you haven't been, GO!! read more

True vegetarian options are available here, unlike other Mexican restaurants which claim to offer veg items but are not really so. Taco Maya's beans and rice dishes are not made with chicken or beef stock I was told. The stock and flavoring is a common problem at many Mex restaurants. I enjoyed my meal with a good conscience. I've never eaten here but my brother in law loves it so I bought him a gift card. I called to buy it because I live almost an hour away. The woman who I spoke with was very sweet and said she would mail it out as soon as possible. She followed up an hour or so later and said the post office closed early so she wanted to make sure it was ok to send tomorrow. I'm semi new to this area because of school but I was looking for a good Mexican restaurant and this is probably the best one I have ever been to. During my lunch break at UTI there is always at least 20 different students that go there for lunch every day. It's one of the few places in Eagleview that gets you in and out of the door quick and in a hurry. The staff is always amazing and the food is incredible. Will always go there about once a week as a do for lunch and I will truly miss Taco Maya after I graduate. read more

I was greeted when I got to the counter to place my order, but the guy that greeted me, whom Seemed to be the manager of owner, quickly ignored me and my questions about some of the menu items. The young man that was filling my plate did his best to answer me, but English is not his native language, so our communication was sketchy, but I don't hold that against him. He was really trying and was much friendlier than the other guy. I can't complain about the food, though. I tried 3 different tacos: Carne Asada, Chicken El Pastor and Mayan Cochinita Pibil. All were really tasty, but I think the chicken was my favorite. Next time I'd skip the cheese because it disguised the flavors of the spices a bit. The taco shells were super crispy, just the way I like them. I will definitely be stopping by here on my travels to and from Philly. Best Mexican food I've ever had! My favorite is the taco salad in the fried tortilla shell. My husband had a burrito for the first time from here and I think he almost ate the wrapper it came in because he liked it so much. This place was awesome! Very authentic Mexican food! They had legitimate street tacos. Their burritos are amazing! Their salsa is very good as well. The service was very quick despite being extremely busy. It's set up similar to a Subway. I would have also liked them to have scallions, but all they had was plain white onion. Taco Maya catered my daughter's grad party. The whole experience was amazing! The food was ready when it was supposed to be and it was so fresh. I received soooo many compliments on the food. I would say Taco Maya is like a local chipotle or California Tortillas. It looks like it is a family owned business. They have fresh ingredients and wide variety of sauces. Sometimes it gets busy but still the service is great. I have been there multiple times with my friends and family.
