I have had bad Mexican food before, but this was beyond terrible! The one star is only for the waitress who was polite. That being said, there was just about nothing else positive to say about this place...we'll, maybe. The table was level and it did not wobble. First off, they charge extra for chips and salsa, that was red flag number one, but we were hungry, so my wife ordered the chips with queso dip ( which came to the table looking like a bowl of Elmer's Glue ) it tasted the way I might imagine spackle might. There were no sauces, hot sauce, taco sauce or any on the table...red flag number 2... I ordered the 3 beef tacos, for $10. With just a glance at them, I was already certain I would still be hungry after eating them, but thought this would be the safest bet. My wife and daughter split the fajitas. The shrimp on the plate looked like those tiny little shrimp that come in a can, just sad and pathetic. My son ordered enchiladas, I thought, " We'll, if the taco's aren't enough for me and he cannot finish, I would eat the rest of his dish. ". He could not eat much, he told me to go ahead and finish them. I kid you not, these were hands down the absolute worst enchiladas I have ever had. The chicken was flavorless, the tortillas were wrapped so loosely, they were falling apart and the sauce tasted like the sauce in SpaghettiOs. I think I could get more authentic Mexican if you sat me down to eat at a table on an Amish farm. Some things that might be more appetizing might include some shriveled up 100 year old looking hot dogs that are constantly rotating at 7-11, the pickled eggs in the darkest dingiest bars that you have ever seen, or even a live octopus. I felt violated, shamed and dirty as I got up to leave. In closing I WOULD recommend Buena Vista. I would recommend them to people who hate puppies, people who fart in elevators, people who pick up used cigarette butts to smoke and people who scam the elderly out of their life's savings. read more

Wanted Mexican for dinner but not willing to deal with an overpriced crowded location. Literally a spur of the moment decision that was deliciously rewarded. Nicely (COVID19) spaced tables and an attentive staff combined with AMAZING traditional tastes = A+ experience. Huge portions (leftovers will be enjoyed!) but not overpriced. There was a large group of Spanish-speaking guys who were having a blast enjoying their dinner. Thought maybe they were ordering items not on the menu, but our server pointed out on the menu exactly what they ordered. Now we will know what's next for us to try....highly recommended!! read more

Had great satisfying takeout. The Tortilla Soup is really good - a broth with chunks of carrot and zucchini with homemade corn tortilla chips and lots of fresh onion and cilantro plus several slices of fresh avocado. Yum. Just a kick of spice. Non-spicy kid had grilled chicken burrito bowl with mild verde sauce on side. Generous helping, not spicy (as requested) and tasty. The chicken enchiladas in medium spicy verde sauce were great - juicy shredded chicken and nice corn tortillas. Very happy with our meal, it was piping hot and fast! read more

Family of 3 wanted some comfort food on a Friday evening had landed at the right place! Comfortable, relaxed environment and great service by Elizabeth. Guacamole was GREAT and very fresh, chips were perfect for dipping. Meal portions were VERY generous with each of us taking home lunch for tomorrow. Two Mexican salads (1 with chicken, 1 with steak) were very tasty. And cheese queso with sides was great. We'll be back to support this local business. read more

We thought that we would try this restaurant, since it was fairly new. It was just okay and won't be going back. What I found odd was, that we asked for chips and salsa, which was always complimentary everywhere else, and were charged $4.00! Not a big deal, just we found it strange. read more
