I understand things happen, but what was frustrating was there was no attempt to offer a solution. No earlier or later reservation time, no bar seating option, no waitlist, nothing. Just a cancellation an hour before our reservation after we had already planned our evening around it. A reservation should mean something. It felt like our table was simply given away because a larger party came along. Not a great way to treat customers.
