After ordering a few tacos, I regret not ordering the broth that everyone else seemed to have ordered. Regardless, the tacos were divine. I have to say the peppers were extremely spicy and something that I half-regret eating. But despite the spicy sweats, the flavors were spot on that it was such a memorable meal. I am a big huaraches fan, and I tried this in four different restaurants in a couple of months. Each time I enter every restaurant I look around and leave if it is dirty. This restaurant was clean. I ordered the carnitas (roasted pork) huaraches. The pork was juicy, and the toppings fresh. This nice sized portion kept me full all day. I did not see a Diet Coke in the drink refrigerator. I got a bottled water (better for me). The gentleman behind the counter and the register lady were very friendly. Thank goodness I took Spanish in high school, because I use it at Mexican restaurants. I I love neighborhood Mexican joints because their food is cheaper, and is highly better quality than the most of the other restaurants. I will add this place on my lunch list!
