Bean and Cheese Burrito - A partially eaten bean and cheese burrito wrapped in aluminum foil, with visible melted cheese and sauce inside.

is there child labor being used in the kitchen here? because it looks like a 4 year old rolled my bean and cheese burrito. i was so disappointed when i unwrapped the foil and saw it looked like this. it ended up just being a bunch of mush in my hands since the ends weren't properly rolled closed and there was a huge rip along the long side of the tortilla. i tried to salvage it and eat it, but it really just ended up being entirely unappetizing. would not order from this location again. the one at san mateo and i-25 actually know how to roll a proper burrito. i would've only given them 1 star, but their breakfast tacos are pretty yummy.

I love Taco Cabana. No other fast food joint compares when it comes to bang for your buck. I love the chicken flameante and anything they serve with carne adovada. Great salsa bar too. Great tortillas.

Yeap Now I Know why they are rated they way they are. First the person taking the order was just plain rude! People please you are taking orders and there no line so why rush me! She sounded bothered. Food wise also not good! I live about 4 minutes away and when I arrived home the food was extremely cold! It's like they didn't bother to warm it up. The Lengua taco was so blend for $3 something a taco it should be delicious! The brisk taco was also cold! The Flauta plate was warm at least! Definitely not going back to this location!

What can I say about Taco Cabana? I love the name. I like the big booths and festive decor. Even with brain freeze, I occasionally like to order a blended margarita. What I don't like is the self-serve salsa bar. When you hold the small cup and fill it with salsa, it's nearly impossible to do so without it spilling over the side. When that happens, it pours over your fingers before splashing back into the bowl. I haven't been inside the restaurant since covid, but I'm hoping they figure out a better salsa system. I've been eating at Taco Cabana, now and then, for years. They have a good variety and I think there some good options if you are looking for a deal. Before tonight, though, I haven't been to TC for about a year. We did drive-thru. I ordered chicken fajitas nachos. I liked that it was served with guac and sour cream. Unfortunately, that was all I liked about it. I missed that it was served with ''queso'' but it must have said that on the menu? If I had noticed that , I would have ordered something else because it made the chips way too soggy. ..especially I didn't eat them until I got home 15 minutes later. And regarding the chips, the ones that weren't soggy were kind of stale. So I would avoid ordering chicken fajitas nachos unless you are going to eat them right away, but there are other things worth trying.

Soft Beef or Chicken Taco Combo - Two tacos filled with shredded cheese, lettuce, and diced tomatoes are served on a black tray, accompanied by lime wedges and pickled onions.

I'm from Cali and the food here reminded me of being back at home. Very delicious. From the tacos to the bean and cheese burrito and then the quesadilla. I was amazed how good it all was.

Chicken Taco Salad swimming in liquid. - A plate contains shredded meat, melted cheese, diced tomatoes, black olives, and a creamy sauce, likely part of a Mexican or Tex-Mex dish.

Looked at the menu online before going to location. Once I got there the menu was different and my meal choice was different. I finally settled on a chicken taco salad with black beans. To shock when I got home the bottom of the Salad was swimming in liquid! 6 paper towels later the taco shell was still deep in liquid and totally mush!!! I salvaged what I could by scooping out 50% of the Salad ingredients into a bowl. The remainder went into the trash. Chicken and guacamole were good but service and quality were poor. My husband ordered his Salad with sour cream and guacamole on the side but were missing. I Won't be going back.

Always good food on the go or in-house, priced right as well. Salsa bar is fine but not really no real good salsa is offered....

It's difficult to find good restaurants that can cater to young adults and have REALLY good food and service. We came first on Sunday for brunch. The food was very good. It was a bit small on the portions though. We had breakfast enchiladas and omelet and blue corn pancakes. Then we came back for dinner. The chicken mole was divine, tacos, sea bass, pork steak etc. absolutely perfect. Good portions. Food tastes like it was homemade. The cuisine is Mexican...not New Mexican. The server was great about answering any questions and willing to omit something if possible. Our server was attentive and so gracious. The wine list was surprisingly good. We had a French Viognier for less than $50. Finally the owner came out to talk to us and thanks us for coming. I'm in the business and haven't had this kind of service for a long time. Our son with Celiac was very satisfied, but also we all were. I would absolutely come back regardless of food restrictions. Please go!!

The property seems massive and it's really beautiful with all the cottonwood trees. When you get into the restaurant, there are just tons of combinations of these cozy little nooks, long dining tables, separated rooms, patio seating, and event spaces. There is something to see everywhere you look; fountains, fireplaces, and plants, hanging chiles, and more. They even raise cattle and chickens on property and source from their own greenhouse for their menu items. The ambience was just really cool and even though the winds were blowing like crazy, we were totally comfortable out in the patio section with the screens up. The food is authentic New Mexican cuisine. They brought out delicious tortilla chips for us to snack on while we decided on what to order. It really felt like there was no wrong choice to make. They were very accommodating for food allergies and restrictions. There was great flavor in everything our group tried. I split the half order of chicken nachos and it was a hefty half order! I was so stuffed, but then, hot sopapillas appeared and I couldn't say no to those! Especially not since the tables had their own sourced honey. There is also a full tequila bar, but since we were traveling with kids, didn't get to take too much advantage of that as an option. I wish we would've had more to explore the property but if I end up back in the Albuquerque area, I'll stop by again.

It's not a lobster tail. Beans and guac-excellent, calabacitas-very good. The chicken enchiladas-delicious with tender chicken. The bad: 2 Grand Gold margaritas at $15 each that were neither grand or gold. I've had better house margaritas at Applebees, lol. Their red chile was sparse, but that actually turned out in my favor because it was on the edge of burnt. A bit acrid. The sopas were dense, flat, chewy, and overcooked. The salsa-underwhelming. If you want excellent Grand Gold margaritas, the best salsa in New Mexico, and excellent portion sizes- SADIE'S ALL THE WAY!!!
