Roberto's Special with all papas, Christmas, chips and salsa, and sopapilla.
    Christina H.

I ordered delivery from Sadie's as I was missing one of my old favorites. Still tasty food. Portions seem a tad smaller and this time I noticed I had to order chips and salsa separately, which was an additional charge. I don't know if that's just with delivery but in the past when I've ordered carry out it comes with chips and salsa. I also wasn't sure if I was gonna get a sopapilla so I ordered an order of sopapillas, which was an additional charge. I believe prior I was given one sopapilla, but again, the description didn't say whether I would get one or not. Might be helpful for them to clarify their menu a bit. Overall, it was expensive for a delivery order. I did get two meals out of it, but it was still costly. I still highly recommend this local favorite even though I will limit my ordering due to "shrinkflation" and increased costs that are affecting restaurants across the board.

Went for lunch with a group, we wanted to sit outside - it was not busy and they had no problem sitting us there, which also led to more customers wanting to sit and enjoy the weather! Service was good the whole time, a couple mishaps in some orders but nothing that was not corrected right away! The food was good, we all enjoyed our meals and drinks! The sopapillas are dangerous!!! Like I could eat an entire basket to myself...if you don't put the honey on them you are doing it wrong!! Also cool to see they are adding a location inside the airport! Love to see when airports are willing to support local restaurants and shops!

We were looking for some good New Mexican food while staying in Albuquerque, and we found it at Sadie's. Excellent chips and guacamole, chile relleno, and enchiladas. We were very satisfied with our entrees. The restaurant is very large and can easily accommodate groups. It was very busy, and we had a short wait to be seated. Our server was attentive and took care of us well.

Spectacular Roberto's Special. Rolled enchies and sopa burger was excellent to match stellar service!

Our uber driver recommended Sadie's and I'm so glad they did! The cheese enchiladas were tasty, the side of beans and potatoes were a great addition. The chili con queso was melty cheesey yumminess. The chips were fresh, the sopapillas were warm doughy and so good. The salsa was fresh and had a bit of a kick. The margaritas were pretty average but I'd come back for the food and great service.

There is a reason that Sadie's is a must visit if you're in Albuquerque! We went about 5:30pm on a Tuesday and were seated immediately at a table in the bar area. Service was great! Our server was friendly and efficient. Food was good and the portions are large. A great experience and would definitely go back.

Outstanding! By far, the best Mexican food I've ever had! I ordered beef brisket tacos. The meat melted in my mouth! I've been here once before on a road trip across the country. I chose the route this year across country to include Albuquerque just so we could eat at Sadie's. Highly recommend this place!!!!! Amazing. You will thank me.

I enjoy Sadie's a lot. I have been dining here for many years. My favorite meal is the Robeto special with red chili. Their salsa is my favorite in the city The service has always been excellent.

They put soybean oil in their salsa. Freaking wack for a New Mexican restaurant. Like why would you do that? Pace Picante doesn't even do that!! Never purchasing this salsa again!!!

Food and food safety. Was served a bloody Mary with discolored and foul smelling celery, obviously spoiled and unsafe to eat.

    Ask the Community - Sadie's

Why doesn't Sadie's serve Spanish rice? Do they not know how to make? Papas are best for breakfast, rice with dinner or lunch.

Incas and Aztecs didnt grow rice

Do they have fry bread tacos (or Indian fry bread tacos or Navajo fry bread tacos)? I grew up having them called Indian fry bread, but I don't think it's culturally sensitive to use those names anymore.

No they do not have frybread tacos. I'm guessing you are referring to Navajo tacos.

The menu initially sounded creative, especially the waffles featuring pepitas, quinoa, and blue corn, which led me to assume that the same thoughtful use of ingredients would carry throughout the rest of the menu. The blue corn enchiladas were the clear highlight and were genuinely delicious. Unfortunately, the red sauce served alongside them tasted noticeably canned. I had hoped for a fresh, house-made sauce that would complement the quality of the enchiladas. The calabacitas were also barely seasoned and could have benefited from much more flavor. The eggs Benedict was disappointing. The addition of a sausage patty made it feel more like a typical American breakfast than the regional and authentic dish I had expected. Many of the available sides were also potato-based, mainly hash browns or French fries, which made the menu feel less varied and imaginative. The blue corn porridge was acceptable, and the generous amount of berries helped bring the dish together, but the porridge itself could have been much more flavorful. There is plenty of potential here, particularly if more attention were given to fresh sauces, seasoning, regional ingredients, and a wider variety of side dishes. The service was good, and the meal overall was fine, but based on my experience, it was not distinctive enough to justify making a special trip.

I have been to the one in Santa Fe, but thought I'd try this one. Not a big crowd for lunch during the week, got seated right away and in the back which was nice. Didn't take long to have the waiter come and ask me what I wanted. Food came really quick and was a big portion for the "lighter side" choice. The food tasted great and my waiter was on top of checking on me after I got my food to Ask how it was, refilling my drink getting me a to go container and bringing me my check. Service was great. The only issue I have was the womens bathroom was not available. When I got there they said it would be just a few minutes, approximately 10 min. That did t happen. The manager said I could use the men's restroom and she would guard the door so nobody came in. But that was not something I was wanting to do. The bathroom never became available while I was there. I would go back, the place had good service and good food, and clean.

To our surprise, everything was ready in about 15 minutes, which was incredible. The service was top notch. The staff helped bring everything out and even helped load the food into my vehicle, which made things so much easier with such a big order. The food itself was fantastic. Everything was hot, fresh, and packed with authentic New Mexico flavor. Our group especially loved the Christmas style red and green chiles that combination really made the dishes stand out. And the sopapillas with honey butter were an excellent treat and the perfect way to finish the meal. Everyone in our party was impressed. Next time I'm in the area I'll definitely come back and dine in. Highly recommend!
