I mean, what do you want me to say? The food is purely comfort food. I don't like it so much as I crave it (especially on those days after a night of heavy drinking)... and that kind craving sometimes requires you to tolerate somewhat lackluster service. For some time now we've been ordering through the app to avoid dealing directly with the people behind the counter, who always seem to have some sort of attitude. Like, guys, trust me, I get it... working for corporations can be tough, but you've gotta take it up with your managers, not the customers. Also, the amount of times they've messed up the orders, or failed to call out orders to sitting patrons, leaving food to just sit on the counter with everyone else scrambling to figure out whose meal is actually ready or not, is frustrating. But Taco Bell's corporate has been understanding, and has been known to try and rectify any mistakes that might have been made. Passed by the 24 hrs Taco Bell on Beretania this morning and thought I would try a Taco breakfast in the morning!! Truly disappointed!!' I ordered the three soft Taco meal. The soft taco's looks pre-made as if sat there for a while. The lettuce look wilted and the taco was cold and the tortilla wrapping was soaked in some type of watery liquid. For a Taco Bell quick service establishment with very high volume traffic, I think it's decently reasonable. There were a number of issues that should be resolved if management & owner(s) can figure it out: - both self-order kiosks are broken but don't appear broken & no signs to indicate this nor do the employees tell customers -- customers tell other customers after wasting time - my nachos & chips order came in a takeout bag with no chips -- then the workers couldn't figure out that the chips were missing (very busy & stressed?) and the lady who gave me the chips didn't apologize despite making me come back to the store from my car - the nacho cheese sauce was full of clumps and I don't see this at the Kahala Taco Bell - the nacho chips themselves tasted almost like cardboard and plastic mixed together -- very unnatural & the chips at Kahala are much better - the spicy chipotle sauce tastes too spicy and weird so I left it out completely in the last few bites of my burrito The best part of my visit was the lady who rung up my order, Joy, as she showed enthusiasm and hope while asking me if I'd like to complete a survey. But the drive-thru was backed up and the dine-in always had a line while I was there too. When we got home I thought they had forgotten the Chalupas for both boxes. Placed an online order yesterday morning and picked it up in the drive thru. I should have checked my bag before leaving. Did not realize till I got home about 15 minutes later they gave me someone else's food order. The bag of food I had was worth way less than the food I ordered. They have definite gone downhill for a few reasons. The menu has been cut in a 1/3, the way the food is presented is sloppy and not appetizing, the prices are so high, there aren't too many deals anymore. I know it's fast food, but as I say always, if I'm going to spend my money on something it better be worth it. Crunchy tacos without sour cream and a chicken chalupa all ordered. What I don't get is when you take something off, they should reimburse you for that because when you ask for extra anything they charge you. Lol wishful thinking. They no longer carry the chicken soft taco but if you order a beef soft taco, they will tack on $1 more for chicken replacement. Makes 0 sense to me but I didn't order it. I think I might be sticking to my own recipes from home because the food tastes better and it is all fresh. They barely put any ingredients in these things and are charging you double for it. New location on Beretania seems to be a fail, at least from the Drive Thru perspective. Lunch time today, Saturday, two guys sitting/talking/taking orders from the cars lined up out the driveway. One seemed to be on break, but given the 30 full minutes I was in the line (I started with about two more spaces behind me on arrival), one of them should have been inside cooking/packaging/or otherwise contributing to moving the production line along. Back when I worked fast food, you cross trained so you could do multiple jobs when needed. Back to the order taking guy...he did have a chair and umbrella, but there should be a covered area for an order taker if this is their normal order taking Plan B. Plus, there was no preview menu board until you are one spot away from the normal ordering station. He had a handheld 8 1/2" x 11", but not very practical. I do not see what benefit there was for production to have the order taker outside. It seemed clear the bottleneck was in the packaging and delivery, as my #6 was barely warm after less than a ten minute drive home. (If I take the time to pick it up inside, it is always still hot when I get home.) The order WAS correct, so I'll give them that. The order taker had obtained orders from 3 or 4 more cars behind me, and all of the cars from me up to the actual order station, probably 9 - 10 cars in a row total, then went back to his chair. By the way, there was only about 4, maybe 5, other cars in the entire parking lot that were parked and NOT in line, so they were not very busy inside. One last annoyance, and this is certainly not unique to TB: I'm not sure what the cashier was waiting for, but they held on to my CC until they could hand it out WITH the meal bag and drink. This makes it cumbersome at best to return the CC to my wallet, and the wallet to my pocket. Please hand the CC and receipt back together. Then hand out the food and drink. read more

My orders have been fairly accurate at this location. Service is questionable. They will sometimes see customers waiting and totally ignore them. An employee was exiting the back door, emptying rubbish, but never acknowledge me. 7:05 am doors are still closed, 7:06 mgr arrives. I had informed her if she's going to open soon. She said they open at 7:00 a.m. it was past 7:00 already. She finally opened the door at about 7:08 a.m. as I entered she turned away and walked towards the back never acknowledge him me or greeting me. Morale is down, it all reflects on the manager. I placed an order ahead of time through the mobile app. Went to the drive-thru and they confirmed my order and processed it, and then they tell me they don't have the large Baja blast freeze so I'm like okay give me a medium fountain drink instead. I go up to the window and they give me the fountain drink and my receipt, and the receipt said I was charged for the freeze. Asked if I was getting charged for the freeze instead of the fountain drink, and they tell me it's the same price, when obviously it is not. Brilliant employees working here. Note: Almost immediately after I wrote this review, I received messages from the business with apologies, letting me know they will address the issues that occurred with my order. I was also offered a free meal during my next visit. I really appreciate the outreach and offer. IMHO smart business personnel pay attention to reviews, both good and bad, and use them to help make things better. Most of the time it seems reviews are ignored. Worse, I've seen a few times where owners and managers attacked reviewers. Regardless of your views of Taco Bell, kudos to them for paying attention and responding. I somewhat shamefully confess I love Taco Bell. I know not everyone shares this sentiment. I don't have it very often anymore, but it's my birthday today and it's what I wanted. My favorites include any of the crunchy tacos, the Crunchwrap Supreme, and the Beefy 5-layer burrito. I've had delivery from this location before a few times without issue. The food was always hot and tasty and the orders were correct. Unfortunately, my birthday order was an exception. I ordered a dozen Cinnabon Delights (a stand-in for birthday cake), but it was left out of the order. The tacos were cold and getting mushy. The tomatoes were on their last legs, close to being spoiled. I paid extra for "supreme" versions of each item, and that includes sour cream, but only a very small dab of sour cream was on each item. I know that these are first-world problems and mean nothing in the grand scheme of things. I know that we have a lot more to worry about right now.
