Chipotle Ranch Grilled Chicken Burrito

How do you forget to put all the sauce and cheese on a burrito? Also forgot the Mountain Dew, and it was delivery so we couldn't do anything. Seriously though, no sauce or cheese...who would make that and send it through thinking it's what the customer wanted?

$6.49 for a chalupa? This is pathetic. Your location progressively gets worse and lazy by the day. Just close if this is the product your employees come out with.

No sour cream on supreme chicken tacos. I had to stop at a grocery store. No more Taco Bell for me.

Yeah, the worst experience ever. I ordered Supreme Chicken Soft tacos that came with hardly any chicken meat and no sour cream in top.Never going there again. Btw it took literally close to 20 minutes to get my drive through order. Not the first time this happened.

Whoever made my food tonight, thank you. You are too kind. Everything I ordered was in the bag and it was packed with such care. Also thanks for all the sauce, I like it saucy.

I love paying $4+ for a tortilla, lettuce, and tomatoes. How do you screw up a Crunchwrap supreme this badly? No protein or cheese. I ate the whole way through, since I know sometimes these can be lopsided. Not the case. Won't be coming back to this Taco Bell.

Food didn't stay around too long!

Slow slow slow. Did I mention SLOW? Also more expensive than every other taco bell around. If tv s as us $1, it'll be like $1.80 there

Although they are still operating the kitchen out of a food truck we figured we'd go anyway to support the new location. We called in advance specifically to confirm the kitchen hours since we were about 30 minutes away. They told us the kitchen closes at 9pm. Perfect, we can make it - or so we thought. When we arrived around 8:40PM we headed to the bar and asked again to confirm that the kitchen was still open. She made it seem like it was and started handing us full menus. About 10 seconds later another woman said no, the kitchen has been closed. To find the kitchen closed early was frustrating to say the least - especially after confirming over the phone and driving all that way. Head of house answering the phones either need to be more aware of actual operating hours or the kitchen staff needs to stick to posted operating hours. I'm not sure who is at fault but it left a very bad taste in our mouths and I honestly don't plan on returning anytime soon.

This place came up as one such place, so we made the trek. It's a small place, enough for a few people to stand and a couple of tables off to the side. This place is very much a to-go location. The cashier was very friendly answered our questions without any hesitation. We hit a smattering of tacos, a tamale and elote. Also done chips and guac. Food came out quick and we ate in the small parking lot in the car. The food is fresh and everything was seasoned correctly for authentic Mexican fare. The proteins were a bit overcooked and they needed sauce to make them more palatable. Their green sauce was spicy but vinegary but fresh and light and their roasted pepper sauce was smoky and much heavier on the heat. The tacos varied between overcooked and dry to just right but underseasoned. We had to tweak every taco to make it good enough. The sauces really helped though. The tamale was flavored masa and cooked well with large chunks of salty pulled pork. Was very tasty. The elote corn was still a little out of season but the mayo, spice, and cheese were spot on in portion and flavor. It's good, and very true to its roots. If they executed the proteins well and upped their spices then this would be a phenomenal spot. As it stands, it's a good taco spot for the area but not worth a trek.

"This is the rhythm of the night Baby, tonight's like fuego…read more We 'bout to spend the dinero We party to the extremo" (Black Eyed Peas) Our visit to Fuego Mexican Grill today was the result of three simple factors lining up perfectly. #1 - We hadn't had Mexican food in quite a while, so correcting that deficiency was on our radar. #2 - We were already in Cromwell picking up our Travelers Championship volunteer packages. #3 - And for several reasons, we never managed to have an anniversary meal this year. Together, those factors made Fuego the natural choice -- and a very good one. Walking into the dining room, we were struck by how stunning the room was. We saw dozens of ornate red/orange fire burst light fixtures on the ceiling. In fact, the ceiling had more than just light fixtures. It also had long cascading strands of white and pink flower garlands. There were cactus plants on the windowsills and huge murals of Mexican heritage imagery in the dining room, bar, and pretty much everywhere. . Our lunch started off when Valerie brought us a bowl of complimentary chips and salsa. The chips were terrific- a little thicker than others, but salt-free and addictive. The salsa was also very good -not watery and runny, just a little spicy, with plenty of onion, cilantro, and tomato chunks. For our food, we ordered a Traditional Quesadilla ($15.99) - described on the website as "Two flour tortillas, filled with melted cheese and shredded chicken or beef (we went with chicken), Sour cream, Guacamole and pico de Gallo on side" and an order of their Camarones Fuego ($23.99) - "Sauteed garlic shrimps with mushrooms in a spicy sauce. Served with white rice and salad". The food was delicious and the portions were very large. In fact, we took home more than we ate there, so it's almost like "Buy a lunch and get another one for free". My shrimp plate was great. First of all, it was definitely spicy, which was fine with me because I love that. It had a lot of shrimp and mushrooms, and probably more than a cup and a half of rice. The salad was a nice addition to the plate- lightly dressed Romaine, spinach, onions, and Cotija cheese. Valerie was pleasant and efficient throughout our visit. All in all, we really enjoyed our experience at Fuego. Improvement Opportunities I noticed some inconsistencies between their website pricing and descriptions when compared to the actual delivery of the dishes. Specifically, the quesadilla had a lower website price, and the Pico promised on the website was not delivered on our plate. When I asked Valerie if the dish was missing Pico, she confidently said, no... it's not included. Well, your website begs to differ.

Look, in a…read moreworld where typing "no onions" into special instructions usually means "please give me extra onions and mock my life choices," La Placita actually reads. My onion-averse burrito came out 100% onion-free. That level of reading comprehension alone deserves a key to the city. Now, onto the heavy hitters. The Steak & Chicken/Chorizo Burritos: The meat was seasoned like someone's abuela was standing in the back threatening the line cook if it came out bland. Incredible flavor on both. The Rice: Cooked to absolute perfection. Not a single grain was undercooked and crunchy, nor was it a sad mushy paste. The Queso Situation: These bad boys arrive draped in a glorious blanket of melted queso. Personally, I loved it! I am fully prepared to attack a burrito with a knife and fork like a sophisticated savage. But fair warning to the traditionalists: if you want to pick this thing up with your hands without needing a post-meal hazmat shower, order that queso on the side. 10/10 Middletown gem. Will be back to drown another burrito in cheese very soon.
