I am a big fan of Salsa's Newington and Wethersfield location so I had to stop at this one while on a recent visit to Middletown. Although all locations have the same menu - I love that there menu items that are specific to that location. They have indoor and out door seating although parking can be a bit tough. We ended up taking ours to-go for that very reason. I love tacos but more importantly taco variety and Salsa's does that so well. I love that you can purchase singular tacos. You can't go wrong with any of their tacos - but I'm particularly fan of a pork belly, Shrimp and mushroom taco combo myself.

We stopped into Salsa's 3 on a weekday afternoon for some lunch. The service at the counter was friendly and knowledgeable about ingredients in the food. It can often be difficult to dine out with allergies, but Salsa's 3 was very helpful in assuring us about ingredients. They did, however, charge a $1 modification charge, even though it was just removing items- not adding. Oh well. We had 2 carne asada tacos, 2 shrimp tacos, and a plate of nachos. The food was very delicious. I liked the nachos the best, I mean, who wouldn't? Definitely a place to stop into if you're feeling up for Mexican food.

Limited outdoor seating but right on the road.

We liked it. Authentic Mexican food at good prices. It's a hole in the wall, has very limited parking but it's very popular because it's so good. Many options to choose from-many reasons to go back. Friendly service. Fairly quick though our meals did not come at the same time-by quite a difference.

These are supposed to both be the Southwest Quesadilla. One of these things is not like the other!!!

We've ordered from Salsa's 3 many times and the food and experience have always been great. Tonight, not so much. Hoping that it's just a bad day. Ordered two Southwest Quesadillas, a Mole Burrito and a Chicken Southwest Soup. First the difference between the two quesadillas was disappointing. Then the soup was missing from my order. Definitely not their finest moment!!

Amazing, authentic Mexican!! This was my first time and their birria tacos are the best I've had and their salsa was FRESH. So many options on their menu and very friendly staff. Will be back!

Wow- I'm mad at myself for not coming here sooner. Amazing food, good prices & really, really good food.

I go here a lot and its normally good but this time I found a bone in my food. It was probably a chicken bone that was thrown in by accident during rush. But it ruined the meal for me since it was my first few bites and I lost my appetite. Other then that it was a little cold. Kept eating later and there were more bones in it

This place is the BEST Mexican food around. Omg so yummy and authentic. The limes and salsa they give with it are so fresh I love the green sauce. The staff is always friendly and you never have to wait long for food. The inside is clean, colorful and cozy. I 100% recommend you check them out

Tacos al pastor, asada, and lengua. Lengua had the best flavor. Agua De Horchata was good. Side of chips and salsa

I am visiting from California and found this taco spot. It was ok. I ordered pastor, lengua, and asada.

Sometimes the best places for food are the locally owned holes in the wall, they put some much love and effort into their dishes. This was the case at Salsa's. Came here on a recommendation looking for a quick and easy bite to eat. My wife and I ordered chips and salsa along with 2 Al Pastor tacos, a horchata beverage and 3 birria tacos. You could make the case for all 3 dishes being a standout on their own. The birria tacos came with delicious consumme which is a must for dunking these tacos into. The meat was so juicy and tender along with the gooey jack and Oaxaca cheese, just outstanding. I can always appreciate a place that respect a good chips and salsa, they even gave us a refill once we saw we were low. They also had a habanero salsa I asked for, good heat and a nice change of pace. The Al Pastor tacos were incredible as well, fresh ingredients, limes and radishes to go along with an abundance of meat and toppings. We really enjoyed our meal and felt welcomed by the amazing staff, this place is a must visit for Mexican food, can't wait to return!

Unfortunately I don't remember the servers name, but I'm pretty sure he was our server, bartender and chef haha. Ambiance is calming and goes with the food that we ate. Music went great and helped out the ambiance of the place. If you're in the mood for great seafood and drinks, I highly recommend this place! We went on a Tuesday so it wasn't too busy. Not sure if it's any different for dinner. We also got an espresso martini which was made to perfection. All the food was honestly fantastic. The Pulpo has a large menu and the prices are not bad. If you're big into Paella's they also offer a wide variety of those. On Mondays and Tuesdays all Paellas are actually $20. It's a pretty far drive for me, but if I'm ever in the area again. I will definitely be going to this place for either lunch or dinner. Great job to the gentleman working today; whoever he was deserves a raise!

Good flavors, pricy for the portion…read more Came to this place after a disastrous attempt at dinner at a steak and seafood place, girlfriend still wanted mussels and steak, so we came here. Place was relatively dead, though the area was alive with activity. Not the best sign, but we decided to give this place a fair shake. Server was very nice, helped translate the menu and offered lots of recommendations. Food came out relatively quickly, and we dug in. The skirt steak and mussels were good. The sauce on the side of the steak was herbaceous and tangy which worked well with the steak. The mussels were fairly big, with a nice light white wine sauce. The drinks were strong but balanced, and everything tasted good and was cooked well. I really don't mind paying for quality. Each small plate commanded the price of an entree at any other location. So you would expect really good bites for each plate. It was good, but lacked any special qualities to make it memorable. Which makes it good food at a hefty price tag. Given that they are right next door to a really popular tavern, it does take away from their appeal. It's not bad food, but it isnt stellar food either. It was leaps and bounds better than the first place I went to that night, but it's also not the first place I would go to for that area. The octopus is good, but there's a lot of good on that strip. It's an option if you want tapas
