I just love this place based on the few times I've been here so far! The first time I got a lie to go, and it was excellent with added onions and meatballs- super flavorful! Since then I've dined in, on pizza again, once in bar area, and last night in the brighter dining room. Both areas were really nice. Love the atmosphere here. It seems like they pay attention to the details. The pizza has been stellar each time and will be hard to resist ordering it in the future, but I'm dying to try the other stuff on their menu too- like chicken prepared 3 traditional ways, hot sandwiches, etc. def adding table 87 to our rotation!

The margarita pizza and calzone is by far my favorite. I always get a calzone it's packed with rich flavors of a varieties of cheeses and well season. It also comes with a marinara sauce on the side. So good MUST TRY!! Service is always excellent here. It a small store front with seating inside and outside more for a table of 2 to enjoy a day or night out.

Pizza was phenomenal, great bake, well seasoned and put together, overall perfect. The pasta dish.... It lacked something... it tasted odd... pasta was almost Al dente, the sauce was odd Seafood salad was basic and worth it. They have plenty of seafood on top of a few slices of vegetable. Service was on a bit of the slow side. One of the waiter spilled our glass of wine at one point but we did not let that ruin our time.

It doesn't get any more authentically Brooklyn than this neighborhood favorite spot for incredible pizza. Table 87 is an absolute staple, serving up amazing pies and Italian food. My coworkers and I would come and dine here for lunch all the time. Service is fast and friendly. Their hot peppers and roasted garlic are a culinary memory seared into my conscience and if there is ever a day that they discontinue providing both as a side to pizza, I will have a total conniption. My go-to is always the margarita slice, but the veggie slice also never disappoints. I used to really be into their pesto pasta, and order it all the time. However, over the passage of time I have noticed that the pesto sauce comes out heavier on the cream and less on the pesto. I would like for that to be restored to its deep green color. I also think that the flavors of pizza slices available needs to be a little bit more diverse. I would love to see their take on a vodka slice or a Sicilian slice. I think so many spots are popping up all over Brooklyn and I would love for them to compete because they totally have the capacity to do so and outshine any pizzeria in the area. If you happen to be in Gowanus don't forget to grab a slice here, or dine in for the perfectly quintessential Italian lunch.

Outdoor dining season is in full swing, and Table 87 in Brooklyn is serving up sunset vibes and serious flavor! Pulled up for golden hour and dove into their iconic brick oven pizza, crispy fried calamari with fried peppers, and a classic chicken parm that hit all the right notes. Nothing like a cold Corona, good eats, and that Brooklyn breeze to kick off summer nights right. Catch me here every time the sun sets over the city! Service was impeccable as well!

Meh! It was okay! In a world of slice shops and pizza joints, I think Table 87 is just alright. It's a little more expensive than the slices I've had in other places, and the flavor just wasn't there for me. I got the most delicious looking slice, the pepperoni burrata. When the guy put it in the oven for the reheat, it came out a few seconds later. The pizza was wet, floppy, and all the cheese was sliding off of the dough. Not very pleasant experience, I expected the bottom to be crispier and hold its shape, especially for 7 dollars a slice.

I ordered online for pick up then grabbed it to go eat outside. There were people in and out of the pizzeria the whole time I was there so must be popular in this neighborhood! The delivery guys are even standing outside with their scooters ready for delivery. The clam pizza was pretty good! I'd say one of the best ones I've had taste-wise. It was on the greasier side though and the outside crust was burnt, but no worries I usually leave my crust anyway lol. The basil leaves were a nice touch. Honestly it was exactly what I wanted after a long work day. Cheers!

Stopped in here for a quick bite pre Whole Foods shop, sat in the area up front for a quick slice. Was greeted as soon as I walked in the door. Slices looked fresh and came out quick. The crust was nice and crispy yet fluffy, sauce was on point, and cheese ratio just how I like. Will definitely be coming back to try the restaurant area.

We ordered the sausage Bianco pizza of the day and the margarita pizza. Nice ambience, great condiments, but the pizza is missing something. Specifically the crust doesn't have the right texture. It's flavorless and without chewiness. I make my own pizza at home using natural yeast and 00 flour. The pizza at this establishment tastes like it was made with regular white flour, like the kind you use for saltines. Flat and boring. They should upgrade the flour and let the dough rise to create flavor.

Always love the food at this wonderful restaurant Table 87!!! The ambiance is great. Last month they were having music play in the streets which was amazing for the neighbor.

Cool place to come for drinks and to wind down. The ambiance is cool for group hangout, music is not loud, and we only got to try out the drinks and no food involved. The drinks were alright.

quite literally the best pizza i've had in brooklyn. stopped by and tried a slice of their burrata pizza, and it was honestly one of the most incredible slices i've ever had. the sauce was super flavorful and fresh, the cheese paired perfectly with it, and the thin crust was cooked to perfection. i added hot honey on top, and it gave it the perfect sweet kick. there was plenty of seating inside. the staff was very friendly. i highly recommend checking this place out.

Excellent drinks

I tried looking up this pizza from Target Richfield for a review, but it sent me to the NYC location, so forgive me if this review is in the wrong thread. Anyway, wow. I've been to New York City and ate at the original Joe's Pizza. What an epic slice of pizza. Now back home in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the great white north of snow that never ends, I finally tried the frozen Di Fara pepperoni pizza from Target no less. Sorry Joe's, but this is on par with your pizza (if it was frozen). Dave Portnoy was right with his high review. This pizza is very good. The thick cut pepperoni, great basil, and the crisp chewy crust was excellent for a frozen pizza. Nice under carriage as well. I cooked the pizza at 480 degrees in an electric pizza oven for 10 minutes, and the result was very good. I added a drizzle of hot honey, and it was spectacular (okay, I also added some fresh picked jalapeños as well). The pizza was hot and melted in the center, and the crust was very crisp, but still had some chew. Wow. This was the best frozen pizza I have had. Bar none. New York, you spoiled me when it came to pizza. Now I can get a taste of New York at home. Great job! I may or may not eat the last 3 pieces currently sitting in the fridge before bed.

Dom has now passed but his legacy continues. I've always compared the then pie vs now. And like most things,, nothing beats the original. This is still a very good slice. We ordered a whole pie half plain and half pepperoni, which is only $2.50 more. What I notice right away is the zesty tomato sauce, which Has love. However, I must admit that the crust was a bit too hard for my taste. Yes! It was crispy, but biting through it was somewhat difficult. Overall a good slice, but maybe the dough was off a bit that day. Regardless, Luigi's Pizza is an institution and I will be back again next time I'm in the area. Many pizzas do not reheat well due to rubbish cheese- not L&B- pop it in the oven around 400°F, and let it crisp back up! Also- the Spumoni- it keeps at a nice consistency in the freezer, unlike rubbish American ice cream- which gets like a rock. The only other Spumoni I buy is from Corona. They're both phenomenal in their respective rights. When asked by non-NY'ers which pizza is my favourite- this is number one for Sicilian- not heavy at all. The crust is light, airy, and flavourful. Fresh mozzarella, a nicely thin crisped crust, sweet tomato sauce, and fresh basil makes this simple pizza taste great. The fried calamari also impressed. It tasted notably fresh--light, clean, and not overly chewy like pre-frozen versions can sometimes be. While I can't say for certain, it had that just-prepared quality that makes a difference. The Caprese salad was a great way to start the meal, with fresh tomatoes, creamy burrata, and a balsamic drizzle was a nice light start. The atmosphere leans old-school Italian, which adds to the charm and character. Service was fine--nothing remarkable, but no major issues either. That said, my overall rating takes a big hit solely for the restaurants ridiculous tipping policy choices rather than the food itself. The automatic 20% gratuity added to the bill was frustrating. The menu does indicate that 18%, will automatically apply, or will be 20% for parties of six or more. We were only three people, so it felt inconsistent and unnecessary. On top of that, the added cost for credit card usage didn't help. I don't mind tipping for good service! In fact, I tip well--but I prefer having the choice and I'm old school so it's the principle of the matter. Being forced into it, takes away from an otherwise enjoyable meal. Bottom line: the food is strong and worth trying, but the billing practices leave a bad taste. If those were adjusted, this could easily be a higher-rated experience.
