This is just a solid New York slice shop. If you're in the area, you won't be disappointed. We were playing soccer at the school playground down the street, and our kids started getting hangry, and we were grateful Mark's was right there. The guys behind the counter were great, and we rolled with a regular pie (great), a chicken parm hero (good), and chicken fingers and fries for my obstinate three year old (fine). I appreciated that they gave us plenty of ketchup for that little terror, but we didn't find out until later that they didn't give us any plates or anything, which was kind of a bummer when we got to the brewery. Either way, it's not going to blow your mind, but Mark's is a shop that makes you glad we live in NYC, and have good pizza everywhere you look. read more

We just got here from Texas, and walked around. Our guide wanted to bring us here. The front counter is very inviting, but it is a tight fit when you order. There is room on the other side of the wall, more room to sit down as a group. Service is polite, and very courteous. Great attitude. Funny guys. We got the spinach roll, very cheesy and a lot of spinach. The spinach was a bit overpowering, but the roll was tasted just right. Our concierge had the slice of pepperoni pizza, nice big slice, nice and greasy,. Not sure if it's against the law to fold it, she didn't, lol. Bottle and can sodas. So, the had some rice pudding, and I asked if it is as good as Mexican rice pudding. He said it was better. So I had to make sure. Well, he was almost right. It is just as good as Mexican rice pudding. Just they don't serve it hot. The rice pudding was delicious. Just one bathroom. read more

Pizza is pretty good I often buy the chicken ceaser slice almost daily I have tried their chicken rolls which really good as well margarita slice is really good could easily do two vodka slice is also good like it's a really good I come here almost daily so that should say something. This place is expensive. They charged me $9 for 2 slices and did not warm the slices very well. I came to my office and took the bite, and it was cold. I had to warm it again in my office microwave. Pizza was mediocre, and it did not taste fresh. I get cheaper slices in Long Island and fresh. I will not go there again. read more

Solid pizza place! Good pizza, good dinners and sandwiches too! I also really like the Red Hook salad w. creamy Italian. As a bonus, they usually have some delicious chocolate mousse on hand, that I can't resist! Pizza places that use Grande pizza cheese, always have the better pizza, imo. It's down my block, so I don't eat in, but there's a few tables that you can sit and eat your slice at. read more

OMG. I did not expect anything special, but when I bit into their honey barbecue wings, it made my day. I'm a wings aficionado who regularly makes amazing wings at home to my liking. Gotta say, this is the best pizza we've had in NYC, swirls of cheesy goodness and perfect amount of tomato sauce. They always get the dough just right, unlike some 'fancy' places that seem to like to burn the crust(?). Service is speedy and friendly. I don't get how some other reviews are so low, they must be competitors or just clueless complainers. Anyways, great place, perfect for when you get pizza cravings. read more

This is my only go to pizzeria when I'm in the area. Not only is the food always hot, fresh, & delicious but the customer service here is 10 stars. From the moment I walk in I'm always greeted with a smile. I'm a regular customer so they know right away when they see me what I want especially if my kids are there. I definitely recommend trying their Penne vodka or the cheese steak both are amazingly delicious & that's coming from (me) the pickiest person when It comes to food. read more

I missed my last IKEA ferry to Manhattan, so I took bus to Red Hook ferry station.. on my way came across Mark's pizza point and had a marguerita slice.. I tell ya, my last two other pizzas from Brooklyn and Queens, Gowanas Pizza and Artichoke Pizza, tasted exactly the same.. Must be a common recipe that Jersey City and Manhattan lack, a combination of thin, crispy, and tangy sauce, so the cheese just becomes frosting on the cake! read more

They make the best Chicken Parm heros ever, SWEET,SAUCY, CHEESY and the bread is always fresh and usually soft unless they toast it a bit too long.. and their baked Ziti is pretty good too. You may have to wait 30 min for it to be delivered, but its well worth it! Friendly delivery guys too. read more

I like their food...I do but it's better to take the food to go! They don't keep the eating area clean at all...Everytime my fiance and I go its messy! We just decide to do take out and eat home...Clean home and clean bathroom....I could live with that! The food is great but they are extreme with the prices : $3 for five pieces of shrimp???!!! Work in the area and we have been trying to find a go to pizza spot that delivers (I hate Domino's) Found a menu for Mark's at the corner bodega and have been ordering from them for about 2 months now. Thursday is officially "Pizza day" and we have tried several varieties of toppings. The Supreme pie is excellent. They can sometimes make the cheese a lil runny so ask for it well done but the crust is one of the best crusts I have ever tried. Crispy and flavorful. Have also tried their salads which are huge and full of ingredients, the chicken fradiavalo wrap is very spicy and garlicky and the gyros are big and very tasty. A very solid pizza place. read more

The individuals I support are on limited incomes and cannot afford meals from establishments such as yours, so they bring their own lunches while staff members purchase food and beverages from your business. A manager approached us and informed us that outside food was not permitted, even though purchases had been made. We were then asked to leave and eat outside in the hot weather. I understand that businesses have policies regarding outside food, and I respect the need to enforce them. However, I believe this situation could have been handled with greater compassion and understanding, given that the group consisted of individuals with disabilities who rely on packed lunches due to financial limitations. As someone who has consistently supported your establishment, I was disappointed by the lack of flexibility and empathy shown. Unfortunately, because of this experience, I will no longer be bringing my business or the individuals I support to your establishment. I hope this feedback encourages your management team to consider a more accommodating approach when serving members of the disability community in the future.
