Table 87 is one of my favorite restaurants on Atlantic Avenue. I always do takeout when I'm in the area. They have excellent food with a wonderful sauce. There's a beautiful dining room in the back and pizzeria in the front. The pizza is the specialty, very delicious toppings with an awesome crust. I usually take a pizza and a couple of chicken parmigiana heroes home. Everyone is extremely friendly and there's a few tables to eat outside, Weather permitting. read more

The menu is simple with some pasta dishes, apps, hero's, n pastas. $10 happy hour cocktails are great and pack a punch. Pizza: coal oven, nice thin slice, crispy, tangy, delicious. My only complaint is that pepperoni slices were too thick. I've tried the penne ala vodka which had plenty of sauce and was delicious. Prices are a great value. Great Coal Oven Pizza. The Calamari was perfectly crispy, and their sauce was spot on. We went with a clam pizza, but my sense is, you can't go wrong with any choice. The service is friendly and efficient, and you are a short walk to Brooklyn Bridge Park! Hard to beat that. read more

Nice, neighborhood restaurant along Atlantic Ave with lots of Italian items. Plus, they have happy hour from 5-7pm and a Martini Monday for $10 martinis, which we happened to stopped by at the same time. For drinks, I had the Spicy Hibiscus Mezcalita ($10 during HH) and the Lychee Martini ($10 on Monday's). The fiance also had a couple pints of beer for $6 each during HH. The drinks were a great HH deal; plus, they were strong and I was definitely buzzed by the end of dinner. As for food, I started off with the Baked Clams ($18). It's a bit pricey for 8 pieces, which wasn't much --but yummy. Then the two of us shared a 12" Margarita Pizza ($17). This pizza was a thin NY style pizza with all fresh ingredients. I added lots of extra parmesan on my slices, which melted nicely from the hot pizza --very delicious. Overall, great meal and I do recommend the pizza here. I usually don't write negative reviews, but I feel completely misled. Table 87 included a flyer with my previous order telling customers to "Save More. Order Direct." It specifically claimed that third-party apps charge higher prices and encouraged customers to order directly to save money and support a local business. That's exactly what I did. Instead of saving money, I paid more. The exact same 20-inch Margherita pizza was $29 whether I ordered directly or through DoorDash. My direct order then included an $8.98 delivery fee, and to make matters even more frustrating, it was delivered by a DoorDash driver anyway. I checked DoorDash immediately afterward. Yes, I have DashPass, which lowers some delivery costs. But the flyer never says, "You'll save money unless someone has DashPass," or "Savings vary." It simply tells customers they'll pay more on third-party apps and implies ordering direct is the cheaper option. That wasn't true in my case. I made the effort to support the restaurant because I believed what they advertised. Instead, I ended up paying more for the exact same pizza and the exact same delivery service. If you're going to tell customers they'll save money by ordering direct, that should actually be true--or at the very least, the advertising should clearly explain when it isn't. As it stands, this promotion left me feeling misled, and that's disappointing from a local business I wanted to support. read more

We don't live in BK anymore so coming back to a native BK pizzeria was a treat and this place has HUGE pizzas that are really finely made. Everything is so fresh about their pies. My fiancé felt the sauce was a little sweet but the cheese was a nice texture and our favorite was the bubbly coal oven crush made to perfection. The waitstaff is really nice and accommodating and the mood is also quiet which is what we miss the most about a unique pizzeria/restaurant. I've heard great things about this place but I have not gone as I don't usually crave pizzas. For the super bowl, we ordered a large pie of margherita pizza for 29 dollars. We ordered on grubhub and walked to pick up. It was a super easy process. The pizza was thin crusts, nice and oily with succulent tomatoes with the perfect tanginess. We came here on a whim, not very familiar with this area. The food overall was good. I would have liked a little more seasoning in my pasta. It was a little bland which is surprising for an Italian restaurant. My boyfriend loved his chicken parm hero; thinly sliced meat and not too much sauce. (The pictures aren't the best as the lighting is very dim). The service was quick and the food also came out just as fast. I recommend the food but the wine was awful. You can sit outside or inside. On a hot day, I would go inside! You have to navigate a bit to the back with the bar and seating area. If you have a stroller, it will be tricky to get inside but doable. The staff are attentive but the wine was awful the day I was there. read more

I met up with my girlfriend here after work during the week. She was raving about the peach old fashioned here, so I had to try it for myself. When you walk in it looks like your ordinary pizzeria with the pizzas on display. But in the back there is table and booth seating, and around the corner is another bar area. The bartender Mike was very pleasant to talk to, and he was welcoming in sharing how he makes drinks, which ones he uses and would recommend. The old fashioned certainly lived up to the hype. The peach liquor added a subtle sweetness to a drink not known for it. After drinks, we wanted a slice of pizza, but we found out they only make pies. We got a blanco pizza with prosciutto and figs to satisfy both of our taste buds. I'm not usually a fan of thin sliced pizza, but this was pretty amazing. I swear my husband had tears in his eyes while eating his pizza. He offered me a slice and as soon as I bit into it, I could feel God's love. I kid you not. Their pizza is that good. We had that pizza in May, and we still talk about it almost every day. It was pepperoni and olives, which is normally not my fave, but they used Kalamata olives and ...WOW! Everything about that pizza was perfect and I am counting the days til I can go there again. The rest of their food is quite good, as well. The homemade pasta specials are exceptional. If you are mighty with the willpower, save some room for dessert. The tiramisu is outstanding. I cannot believe I haven't reviewed this place yet, as I have been at least 5 times. Table 87 is my favorite pizza in the downtown BK / Brooklyn Heights area, and I've had them all. Their pizza strikes the right balance of tasting super fresh and high quality, while still having enough crisp to have structure to each slice and a bite at the back. That coal oven gives a nice charred bottom and outside to the pizza, which I also love. The sauce is a little sweet, but not too much so and is really well balanced especially if you get their pepperoni which is salty and a bit spicy. Honestly, I enjoy this za a hell of a lot more than Julianna's up in Dumbo, which really rides on its coal fire reputation. Beyond just the flavor, I really love the indoor seating here. It always feels quiet, cozy, and chill. Which is a nice contrast to places like say John's of Bleecker which feel so packed and rushed due to the crowds. I also really enjoy their drinks and wine by the carafe (perfect for 2 people who don't want to kill a whole bottle). Service is super nice and fast as well, and all the people I've talked to there have been super polite. Overall, highly recommend Table 87, especially for a sit down experience. Of course it's not going to be like a slice counter type of pizza so go in with an open mind if that's what you usually go for. The pizza here is super fresh and tasty and should not be missed by anyone in the area. read more

Ive been meaning to try this restaurant after work and finally did! I love the dim lighting and soft music playing in the background. It's a Great place to come solo or with a group. I came for drinks but they have great Italian food options. Its a great restaurant to go to for a quick after work bite by the bar or sit down meal with friends and family. I came already full from dinner and ordered a glass of sauvignon blanc and a peach old fashioned. It was interesting that white wines like moscato and Riesling weren't offered by the glass but were only offered by carafe The service at the bar was great the barista made an amazing peach old fashioned which i highly recommend. RACIST EXPERIENCE! Do Better. I had an incredibly upsetting experience at this pizzeria that I feel obligated to share. When I went in, the pizza chef treated me with blatant hostility, yelling at me and being unnecessarily aggressive, which was a stark contrast to how he spoke to the white woman ahead of me. His tone, attitude, and entire demeanor changed as soon as it was my turn. While I was there, I met another Black woman, who mentioned she'd been sitting and waiting to see if this chef treated other Black customers the same way. That's how common and predictable his behavior seems to be. Sure enough, she saw it happen with me. I then went to complain, and what I was told by another staff member was just as disturbing. He admitted they know the chef is "nasty" and know he's racist... but they're not going to do anything about it. Let me be clear: If your business knowingly protects a racist employee, ESPECIALLY one who interacts with customers you're complicit. You're telling Black customers that we're not valued, that our treatment doesn't matter, and that we should just accept abuse with our slice of pizza. I will not support a place that allows this kind of behavior to continue unchecked, and I encourage others, especially those who care about human decency and equality to take their business elsewhere. Been visiting Table87 since August 2023. First, love the ambiance, the rustic look it has, and most importantly the FOOD. I always order the Wild Salmon. A must if you are into salmon. I have no idea what they use to make it taste so tasty and soft. Another one of my favorite is the stuffed roast pork, the fried Zucchini, and the eggplant stuffed with ricotta and cheese. The staff and owner are very friendly. Beautiful and clean establishment, very cozy, chilled, and relaxing. I have yet to try their oven pizza. Many customers go there to order the pizza. 7.8/10 pizza rating for me. I got a slice of pepperoni and a slice of the marg. Overall the pizza was enjoyable, large for a slice, and they are generous with the toppings. I enjoyed the different pockets of cheese and sauce distributed well on the marg. The tomato sauce they make here is delicious as well. The marg was definitely the preferred slice as the pepp was a bit too greasy for me. The main con here for me was that the base of the slices I had were thin. Thus, the pizza was floppy and sagged when holding it, making it a bit challenging and messy to eat. It required 2 hands to prevent the flop, otherwise holding with 1 hand results in toppings falling off or grease dripping. I personally like my pizza base with more crisp with a base that can hold its own when being picked up. read more

I'm familiar that with a party of 6 or more, the 20% tip is automatically included. However, tonight, 7/20/25, the server never gave us itemized tabs, but went up to us individually with a cc device. Unknowingly, the entire group paid the automatic 20% tip and then an additional tip based on a percentage of the previous total with their tip. If I didn't ask for a paper receipt, I wouldn't have known that I gave a 40% tip! The server never indicated at anytime to any of us that the tip was included automatically. Not everyone is aware of this, especially when paying individually. The service was not up to par. I was the first there but one of the last to be served my meal. No table was served the meals at the same time to eat together. There was a lot of confusion when bringing out the meals. Very disorganized. read more

The staff was also super friendly and patient as we proceeded to ask for multiple group photos of us. We ordered the arugula and prosciutto and margherita pizzas. We also got the calamari appetizer. Everything was absolutely delicious and fresh. The arugula and prosciutto pizza was my favorite. They did not skimp on the ingredients. Plenty of prosciutto to go around. Wow. Just wow. My friend bought two margherita pies for us to eat near the playground. I've not had pies from here before and was blown away. The pies were so nice and delicious especially when you add the peppers and garlic condiments on the pizza. The ratio of sauce/cheese/basil was just right. I ate two slices, could have gone for more but didn't want to be the only person who went for three slices... What a serious disappointment. Lori, I hope your other Shark Tank investments are making serious money, because this one did not work out for me. As somebody who has tried company products and investments from Shark Tank, I always go into them thinking, boy, if a billionaire is willing to invest a lot of money into them, they must be worthwhile. While that is true for some of them, it does not always hold true to others. Unfortunately, this is one of those clunkers. The coal oven pizza by the slice is a great idea as the pizza cooks faster, therefore, going from oven to box (or table) in a matter of minutes. It might work for a tourist, or the casual pizza eater, but as a New York pizza aficionado, I have higher expectations than that. Table 87 does not meet them. Table 87's pizza comes across as Patsy's meets Di Fara. Incredibly, their price is somewhere in between the two pizzerias as well ($4 a slice, as Patsy's is $2 and Di Fara is $5). Unfortunately for Table 87, both Patsy's and Di Fara slices are comparatively better than Table 87's slice. The crust is too chewy, the sauce is too sweet, and the cheese is highly inconsistent throughout the slice. Sometimes you get a great hit of it, other times, it is nonexistent. The Margherita slice overall tastes like cardboard with sauce and cheese. The sausage slice is not much better, as I barely taste the sausage, along with my other criticisms of the Margherita slice. Lest be forgotten, it is disappointing and unmemorable. They also sell frozen slices, but if the in-house product is not great, what makes me think the frozen pizza is better? We've been to Gowano's location a few times, and this is our first time dining there. For whatever reason, the food was always fabulous here, especially their pizza! We were thinking about Julianna's, but Juliana's busy, so we ended up here, which would be a better deal and less headache due to the long line. The restaurant is spacious inside, and they have two sections that few people know are big. So, for those pizza lovers out there, why settle for the crowded touristy place while you can get the best local Brooklyn pizza? Great pizza pasta stop along the BQE!! Margarita slices are the highlight here as well as the Linguini with White Clam sauce. Grilled Octopus is a perfect starter. Tiramisu is made fresh in-house. Had a bad experience with table 87 staff. They charged me twice for tips! Next time will go to other place

My first time at Table 87 and I'm on the fence. I ordered a Margherita slice, and a Mushroom slice. My slices arrived very quickly. Both slices had burnt crusts. Once I got beyond the burns the slices were fairly tasty. The sauce was nice, the Mozzarella was fresh, and the Mushrooms just right. My bill with a Root Beer was $15. Went back for me this time I ordered the sausage & peppers with a side salad. The portion for me ! Was a small side, the bite was fresh and warm but the bread was a bit too much for me . I'd prefer the bread a bit thinner , but again that's just me . They make a great chicken pesto sandwich with a focaccia type bread .
