Love this place! The staff is so friendly and the food is very tasty! My husband and I have been here multiple times for dinner and brunch. On our most recent visit we arrived with less than an hour before a show we were trying to catch at the Schuster Center. The staff was incredibly accommodating and we were able to make it to the show with plenty of time to spare. The breakfast entree's are pretty good. I didn't like the server by the name of Tanner requesting that I make a donation for a cause. This was followed by a pastor asking me to join his church when I made the donation. I found it to be quite vulgar. On a separate occasion, I witnessed Tanner praying with customers. I don't have a problem with prayer, but I would rather not go to a restaurant that is an extension of Tanner's church activities for my meals. Food is good, but the religious connotations left me with a bad taste. I wouldn't advise anyone to eat here based on my experience. read more

I am so glad Table 33 is open downtown. I have visited 3 or 4 times over the past few weeks. They are currently offering a limited menu as they ramp up to full service and expanded hours. The quiche, chicken salad on croissant and featured salad were all awesome. Quality ingredients. Fresh. Great flavors. I am also a fan of their healthy fresh squeezed juices. The staff are all kind and extremely personable....you can tell they are proud of the restaurant they are building. Finally, the remodel looks great...check out the brick they used on the various columns...although it looks like it has been there forever, I'm told they reclaimed it from an old building elsewhere. Plenty of street parking and the Arts Garage across the street is the nicest parking garage in the city. Table 33 will definitely be part of my regular rotation. read more

Went for lunch today to try. Friends had explained that they had amazing coffee however I am not a coffee fan so I tried the tea. It was the best chamomile tea I have had. It was so fresh. I got the vegetarian toasted cheese it had asparagus, and hummus and peppers. It was a beautiful combination. Tasted so good. I got dessert, not because I was still hungry but because there were so many wonderful sounding things I had to try. I go the Italian crème cake. it did not disappoint. I would recommend. It was a nice distraction to a hectic day. Service was great. They do a team approach and all of the servers were happy, and very helpful. No question that I will be back. read more

I am not sure I would even give this one star if I did not have to. This was nothing short of horrendous. Arrived at the restaurant to a short wait, about 15-20 minutes. We were sat at about the half hour mark and were greeted pretty quickly by a smiling server. This was were it all went downhill. We ordered drinks and sat for about 15 minutes waiting on them. A couple of coffees, a coke, a cold brew and some waters. We were informed by our server after the coke came that she was waiting on water glasses? Ok then bring us the rest of the drinks. This is where things got really strange. She took our orders which included two items that were apps and 4 entrees. A half hour goes by then she shows up at the table and said she put the order in wrong and our food would be out before our apps. Another half hour goes by and I go to the podium and speak to a young man who really gets right on it. He comes to the table and fills our coffee and gets the manager. The manager arrives then proceeds to tell us that our food is next in line! Really? I saw every table around us that arrived after us get there food long before us. I would have much preferred the truth which is somewhere between the order did not get put in or the kitchen may have lost the ticket who knows? Just tell the truth. In the meantime the server is totally oblivious to what is going on or maybe even just does not want to acknowledge it, either way another miss. With what this meal cost and how it went for us we will not return. read more

So my son has been in and out of the NICU for going on day 12 now and my boyfriend and I have been a mess to say the least, have not left the hospital but this one time to go get a "farm to table" breakfast that lead us to Table 33.. We thought, oh no we're so underdressed and we were only taking a 45 minute break while our little boy was asleep, but we were greeted as if we were in million dollar outfits. We sat down and our sever Dylan (katheryn) was just the sweetest little thing, walked us through every single item on the menu as well as drinks. We ordered her recommendations which were AMAZING!!!! We got the old fashioned waffle and added chicken on her recommendation (which really made the meal superb!!). My boyfriend got the huevos rancheros, and said it was the best he ever had. We then asked her for our check due to us being in a rush and getting back to our son, she told us our check was taken care of & she wished us and our son the best of luck. Shortly after the manager, Lindsey, came over to introduce herself and give us her best wishes. Of course, it all warmed my heart so much, I started to tear up! I was already a huge fan of the food and service here - it's easily the best brunch in all of Dayton! But this gesture just put it over the top. I've worked for many years in restaurants from serving to bar tending to management -- and every aspect of Table 33 is top notch. Great management! Great kitchen! Great staff! We go here pretty often and it's always been great service and great food. We went on a Sunday around 11 and had to ask for a wait staff after sitting for 20 minutes without anyone helping. It then took nearly 45 minutes to get our food and it was cold when it came out. The manager, however, was very apologetic and nice about it. We will still come back and hopefully it will be better service next time. read more

An incredible dining experience. The staff was friendly and took great care of us. I have a lot of food allergies so eating out is challenging. They were patient and careful, yet I had the same creative delicious dishes as my date. They have a talented self-taught chef, fabulous wait staff, and the GM greeted patrons at our tables. Walked in last Saturday for lunch around 12. Hostess said it would be a 30 minute wait. Ok looks like a nice place. There are 4 of us with a small child so one of the tables along the window would work. There are 7 empty tables and three large ones in the other area near the rest rooms. I wonder why the wait with all the empty tables. Maybe a reservation. So I sit in the empty waiting area. I decide to go to the bar and order some house made chips and dip while our party waits. I wait 20 minutes for the chips. Small plate with mostly small broken chips. Around $9 for the small plate. Taste good but should be about $3 at best. Slightly larger than the amount that was served with my hamburger after we were finally seated. We get seated in about 40 minutes while I take a couple pictures of the now entire empty run of tables. 8 or 9. They never get filled while we are there. Party next to us had there meals bagged up to go as the wait was too long. Hostess and other person at the front did little but talk. Food is excellent. Burger 2 patties great bun Brussel sprouts excellent Chorizo skillet had by a friend excellent after they remade it without onions as requested. Childs grilled cheese top notch. The cook and cooks staff put out great food. Wait staff was very nice but no urgency. Management needs to step it up or a good restaurant will fold up due to poor tempo. I love this place. They try to serve food grown locally and raised responsibly. AND it tastes incredible! Very laid back but very nice. Sort of like a little bit hipster meets classy. Close to downtown parking, nice courtyard outside that kids could run around in while grown ups look out the big windows. Menu isn't huge, but it's diverse and delicious. My new favorite Dayton spot for both flavor and integrity. And lots of GF options if that's your jam. read more

I had been in for lunch about a year ago and it was really tasty. Recently tried it for dinner and was really disappointed. Made a reservation, when we arrived, it was "not in their system". The place was pretty empty, so we didn't have to wait for a table. The server was very friendly and explained the menu well. The truffle fries were really great. However, the rest of the food was awful. We started with some small plates and were planning on ordering entrees, instead we left and went to another restaurant. The Mezze plate was ridiculous. It looked like something that I would throw together at home with some random leftovers (including saltines, yes, saltine crackers.) We then tried the Brussels Sprouts. They were the worst part of the evening. Not trimmed, undercooked and lukewarm. Basically inedible. We picked through them for a few minutes until the server came back and offered to box them up. I replied, "no thank you, they were pretty bad." To which the server laughed and then brought the check, with the Brussels Sprouts on it. We paid and left. Two managers were there the entire time but were completely oblivious. read more

this was an underwhelming experience, to say the least. when we arrived and ordered our drinks, my daughter said she'd like a water and would most likely order a coffee to go after brunch. i ordered an iced tea and my son ordered a rosè. after about ten minutes, my daughter received a coffee and water. no cream or sugar offered. about fifteen minutes after the coffee, my son received his wine and about ten minutes after that my iced tea was delivered, each by a different server. each time, when asked if we needed anything, we asked for cream for the coffee, which we never received. approximately *an hour* after we ordered our food (which we ordered with our drinks), our food arrived, (delivered by yet ANOTHER person) barely above room temperature. no salt or pepper offered. no refills on water, tea or coffee. two waters for three people. for bacon and eggs, biscuits and gravy, and a breakfast sandwich, a wine, a coffee and an iced tea, our tab was over $60. the food and service were well below mediocre. after hearing such great things, we will not be returning. read more
