This one has been a long time coming! If you are craving a stellar bite of Indian cuisine you've gotta stop by Tabla. Ayu and Shaaun took care of us and the meal was top tier! We started off with a Mango Lassi which as you can see couldn't make the photo list because it was just that good! For appetizers we got the Pani Poori and the veggie samosas and although both of them were great, I'm a sucker for a good Pani Poori sauce! The Tamarind sauce and the green one: 10/10! Their butter chicken was rich and had the perfect flavor profile for a full night out that will give you the itis in the best way possible. Will definitely be returning!

I find this place to be great and in a good location. Ordered their noodle dish from starters sections as well as butter chicken, garlic naan and mango lassi. Mango lassi drink was like a sweet mango yogurt. Really good! Butter chicken was flavorful and creamy! Of course cant go wrong with any of the nanny to help eat with their dishes. Also the noodle dish in their starters section came out cold which I didn't expect. Yet, was really good with the spices and have a kick to it! Definitely enjoyed it!

I had been wanting to try Tabla for a long time! The staff is so welcoming and Valentine sat me and got me set for a good meal. The menu is large and there are many options. They have a weekend Thali meal for 18.99 a person. They also have Weekday lunch platters that begin at $14! Starting on August 1st to Oct 31st they will offer Magical Dining at $30 a person. On my first visit I ordered Butter Chicken, Garlic Naan and Basmati Rice. I started the meal with a mango lassi. The mango lassi tasted so fresh and creamy. It was very filling as well! The Butter Chicken can be adjust to the heat that you enjoy. I asked for not spicy and it was perfect and so flavorful. The Garlic Naan was so nice to dip into the Butter Chicken. It was such a generous portion, I was able to pack the rest for home and another meal! Ayu and Valentine are very helpful and hospitable. I truly enjoyed my meal and look forward to the next time. With all the amazing choices and offers, I will definitely be back soon!

This was my first time having Indian food! I got the butter chicken, garlic naan, veggie sommoas. I'm addicted now, I can't wait to try more. The food was perfect. The service was great, place was clean.

One of the better meals I had in Orlando. It was our last night in town and walked over here from our hotel. Service was accomodating and we got a seat at a spacious table, and the portions were huge for the price! We were basic and got the butter chicken/makhani and garlic naan, but it was very nicely done with a lot of flavor in the sauce and chicken that was not dry. There was plenty of garlic and flavor in the naan as well. I also had the goat biryani, which I was not as big a fan of. The flavor was also on point with this dish, but the goat was a little hard to eat and the meat was a little chewy and overcooked. Loved the portion size of this dish as well though, we had plenty of leftovers for another meal the next day.

We've been back here twice for the same meal. This Tabla, and there are five of them, has a vegetarian lunch special which is quite a bargain and obviously crave-worthy. We stopped in the first time as I was craving Indian food and we happened to be at Millennium Mall. It is only less than a ten-minute ride away. The lunch is multi-course with many choices of entrees for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians, all for the price of $14. I had the Paneer Tikka Masala as my main dish and hubby Saul had Vegetable Korma as his. Both beautifully presented platters included a small bowl of delicious soup, a well-seasoned and not-greasy samosa in a tamarind sauce, a large bowl of Jeera rice, two warm wedges of naan, and a dessert jamun. The ambiance is warm and comfortable and our service by Valentine was welcoming, friendly and efficient.

The service is good the food is delicious and very reasonable. We had the vegetarian lunch specials. We will definitely come back. Ask for Valentine he was our server and was excellent.

My all time favorite hobby: Trying new Indian restaurants This place did not disappoint! We came in after going to Epic Universe, and the place was pretty empty but they didn't seat us right away, instead they took my phone number and they called me 10-15 minutes later. They were very short staffed. We ordered our usual: Mango lassi Vegetable samosa Butter chicken Lamb korma Gobi manchurian Butter and garlic naan Lentil daal soup The food was mouth watering delicious, I kept eating even after I was full that's how good it was! Great place to try if you're in the Orlando area

What a WONDERFUL restaurant! While on a conference, we stopped by for lunch and could not be happier. It is beautiful inside, and the staff are equally incredible. There are amazing lunch deals, platters for $12, and they taste absolutely delicious with deep flavors and lots of options, I am hard-pressed to think of a better Indian restaurant that I have visited lately.

Stop what you're doing and go! This place is an absolute financial asset to your weekend plans. The star of the show? The Tandoori chicken, smokey, spiced perfection, and the surprisingly addictive, savory-sweets kick of the Manchurian chicken. Paired with fluffy, blistered garlic naan fresh from the oven, it's a dream but the secret ingredient is the sweet warmth of the staff and owner. It turns a meal into a moment

This was my first time to Tabla and my mom and I were impressed by the quality, freshness and flavor of the food and the amazing service. We shared the mixed grill and a garlic naan and this was so filling and satisfying. Each piece of meat was perfectly seasoned and cooked, and they each had their own flavor profiles. The naan came out piping hot and the garlic butter combo was SO GOOD. Will definitely be back again and would like to visit the other locations.

Tabla Indian goes fast casual to my delight! I want to thank the owners and staff that came out to put together a delightful tasting experience for the Yelp Elite group of Orlando! With their newest location close to universal, this is sure to be a big hit for the organization. The fast casual side is done well inside the Clarion hotel and operates on the side where their fine dining location is. You'll find on the fast casual side a bar featuring Rupee beer and thoughtful wine list (seriously go check it out). In addition, they had some tasty mixed drinks to try (see my photos below). This location also has outdoor seating. My favorite was the courtyard area which provides a beautiful backdrop to enjoy tasty Tabla meals! My favorite was the fried summer roll which came with a spicy sauce that was so good and paired well with the Rupee beer! Sit back, relax and enjoy the comfort of Tabla Indian Restaurant!

The pakora was fried perfectly and had the right amount of spices, making it so flavorful and addicting that my mom enjoyed it so much. The meat area had Chicken Tikka Masala, Cashew Chicken, Goat Biryani, and Tandoori Chicken. All were wonderful. The biryani had nice pieces of goat, but most of them had bones. The the goat was tender and flavorful from being with the bones. The cashew chicken was good, but also had bones. The chicken tikka was boneless and the chicken was soft. The sauces were flavorful and medium spiced. The tandoori chicken was cooked nicely, but you did need a knife and fork to cut it. For the vegetarian dishes, the okra and potato were both enjoyable. The paneer dish was a bit too sweet for me, and the vegetable biryani seemed to have golden raisins, which I didn't enjoy. For dessert, I just took the fruit custard, which was mostly just fruit in a mango milk/sauce. It was still delicious! We all agreed that the food was great here for the buffet! The service is good, but can be busy. While our plates got cleared for the first rounds, it did pile up during the second round and dessert. It didn't get cleared until we left. It was ok because we had enough space to eat anyways. I also noticed that relaxing piano music was in the background, so it does help calm the atmosphere in a tourist area. The price increased to about 20 dollars per person, but this is still a great deal. With various types of food to enjoy and unlimited portions til your stuffed, it's an excellent value. It's our preferred restaurant for Indian lunch buffet in the I-Drive area. Overall: A-

They didn't have Aloo Choley listed, but when we asked, the kitchen put together a version with chickpeas and potatoes that turned out delicious. We ordered the Dal Maharani, and while our waitress asked about spice level, it felt like she made the decision for us. We enjoy spice, but even the first bite was hotter than we expected, and we barely ate any of it despite it being otherwise flavorful. Toward the end, our waitress asked us to leave a review... and then stood there waiting. When my husband said we were still chatting, she kept circling back to check, which felt pretty pushy. Later, when we requested to-go boxes, she said "there is no rush" and then disappeared. We had to ask again. Overall, the food is good and the staff is mostly friendly, but the unexpectedly fiery dal and the slightly overzealous service kept this from being a 5-star experience.

Unfortunately, the experience didn't quite live up to expectations. My wife chose the buffet, assuming everything would be freshly prepared at opening time. To our surprise, every single item on the buffet line was cold -- from the rice and chicken dishes to the biryani and palak paneer. If a restaurant opens at 11:30, the food should be hot and ready to serve. Cold curries and rice immediately take away from both texture and flavor, and in this case, the dishes tasted flat and lacked the depth of spices you expect from Indian cuisine. Based on this visit, I would recommend skipping the buffet and ordering from the regular menu instead. Buffet selections often feel like the more economical options, and here they were devoid of the bold flavors that make Indian food so memorable. I ordered the chicken biryani from the à la carte menu. It was noticeably better -- aromatic and more flavorful than the buffet items. However, it still missed an important element. Traditionally, biryani is prepared by marinating the chicken and cooking it together with the rice so the spices infuse the meat and every bite is cohesive. In this case, while the rice carried some fragrance, the chicken itself was not well marinated and tasted bland on its own. It felt more assembled than thoughtfully cooked together. Another important point is pricing. The dishes are on the expensive side, and at those prices, the flavors and overall quality should be excellent. When you're paying premium prices, you expect depth of seasoning, proper preparation, and attention to detail -- not cold buffet trays or under-marinated meat. Service was the bright spot of the visit. The staff was friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout our meal. Overall, not a terrible experience, but certainly disappointing. With better attention to temperature, flavor development, and consistency, this place could justify its pricing -- but on this visit, it fell short.

We went for the Thali, and it arrived like a feast--beautifully presented with a wide variety of dishes that felt both generous and thoughtfully prepared. The biggest issue was that many dishes were either empty or missing key ingredients. The Paneer Tikka had no paneer left and was never refilled while I was there. The same happened with the Saag Chicken--the chicken was gone, and it wasn't replenished. Even the naan wasn't refilled for nearly 15 minutes. The live chaat station was extremely inefficient, resulting in a long line. The employee making the pani puri worked very slowly. Each time she ran out, she would go into the kitchen to get another packet of pani puri shells, cut it open, transfer them into serving containers, and only then continue serving customers. After preparing just a few plates, the entire process repeated, causing unnecessary delays. The buffet area itself was poorly maintained. Food had spilled across the serving counters, and while serving myself, some of it ended up on my dress. We brought these concerns to the manager, who was courteous and apologized, explaining that he had been away and things had gotten out of hand. I appreciated his attitude, but it didn't change the overall experience. To make matters worse, there were no bowls available for dessert, so I wasn't even able to try the kheer. The food that I did taste was mediocre and lacked the authentic flavors I expected. Overall, the restaurant fell short in three important areas: food quality, service, and operational efficiency. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Tamara Modern Indian Restaurant to anyone looking for a good Indian buffet in Orlando.

Fireeeee! What…read moreI got the Hyderabadi Goat Dum Biryani in mild spice. Mild was enough to send my head on fire! The food came out very very very hot! It was steaming! I love how fluffy the rice was. At first I was surprised with the top layer being just white rice but I guess that's the style or it is to help me tone down the spiciness... either way I appreciated it cause I was able to mix in the white rice. The meat was very tender and flavorful. This was a good portion and had a decent amount of meat. I like the presentation of the water in the bottle but not so fond that there was no ice.. tasted weird.. Environment This is located in a plaza and there are plenty of parking outside and seating inside as well. They seat you and you order. I had to make my payment at the counter. I'd say it is a more fast casual place.. good lunch spot. Niceness of the staff The staff was super nice and attentive. I was able to quickly flag someone for attention. Dollar It was around $20 for this dish. It was a decent serving, enough for 2 I'd say Yes/No? Yes, I would return here, maybe with others so I can try a bunch of other items...

First asked about tandoori chicken and they said no Tandoori available as it takes a long time to make. Them ordered dosa and again the waitress said she would have to ask the cook because of the time required. Told her we came specifically for the Dosa so she asked chef who had it on the table in about 5 minutes.
