I ordered the mango royal tea and I absolutely loved it! It's sweet and you can really taste the flavoring of the mango. I'm not too familiar with all the other drinks so the girl working was very helpful. The place is fun and clean. It does have a funky smell to the place, almost fishy but my delist drink made up for it. The flavor of most of the food and drinks here is really good. I prefer sweets, so I don't mind a majority of the drinks that people are saying are "too sugary". The only thing that seriously annoys me is the amount of ice in the drinks; and when I ask for easy on the ice, they don't add more of the drink, so if I order a regular/large they give me 3/4 of the actual size. Another thing though, the reason why I give this place 3 stars, is the crappy customer service. The actual owner is very kinda and greets us when we come in, but the employees never smile, speak as if taking your order is a burden, are impatient, and even when customers are present and ready to order, are always on their phones/talking amongst each other. Most of the time I love coming here but the last time I was here I walked in and the whole staff was just sitting down behind the counter eating. When I got up to the register nobody had stood up, they all just looked at each other like someone else was going to have to take my order. Eventually one girl gets up, takes my order, and then makes my drink WITHOUT WASHING HER HANDS. She had just gone from eating a sandwich, to making my drink. The only step she took in between was to whip her hands off on her pants. Other than the customer service, the drinks are pretty good. I love the boba milk tea here. The closest good quality boba shops are in Sacramento so I was super excited when I heard that this place opened up. They have a wide range of drinks to choose from and I've loved the majority of drinks I've ordered. Their prices are reasonable compared to other tea/coffee shops which are great for poor college students like myself. read more

The ONLY reason I'm giving this a 3 star rating is because of the service I received recently. If my service Saturday was like that all the time I'd be a 5 star. The young man with the "life's good" gray hat was very informative, helpful, and friendly. He answered all my questions I had about various teas and their menu toppings he also took my order and made my drink because everyone else seemed "too busy" on their cellphones. But, nonetheless he made my drink fast (most likely the fastest) and accurate. I've been to this establishment several times once for their grand opening. Which was very unorganized (which is understandable) but I had to wait a very long time for my drink and even longer for my popcorn chicken. The next time was last week. The service speed was still a little slow which is still understandable but, the young woman with the nose ring who took my order was very rude and gave me attitude when I had questions about products saying things like "it's just a flavored jelly," or "it's just a snow pearl." I was also hoping for larger sized boba on a previous visit but was told they only have small boba because the large boba wasn't ready until another 30 minutes You'd think that if they open so late at 11 they'd be ready to serve ALL of their products. Whats worst is I think the woman who took my order was the daughter of the owner. This place is something Redding needs, their food and snacks are delicious, I won't lie. I just hope that they get their establishment together soon and work on their level of professionalism. I don't think it's entirely appropriate for workers to be wearing running shorts and have their work shirts go past them. I probably won't be back until another month or two. read more

Having lived in Taiwan for 14 years, I was so excited to try out a real Taiwanese tea shop right here in Redding. I couldn't believe how spacious and clean the place was. What a great place for hanging out with friends. The music volume was just right for conversation. The service was "spot on". They even have options such as less ice or less sweetener. What a variety of drinks and cooked snacks! My honey peach royal tea was refreshing-- not too sweet. My friend enjoyed her Thai tea. It was great how each drink cup came with a sticker in which the contents were neatly printed on. The best, was the attached lid, just how they do it in Taiwan! read more

Pretty good. I was looking forward to trying this place so when I realized it had opened I had to go in asap. Very nice and spacious interior, it would be a great spot to catch up with friends over some fun drinks. The menu itself is huge! LOTS of yummy sounding choices and if I hadn't just went to lunch I would have tried one of their food options. I ordered a Thai milk tea. Was it the best Thai tea I've ever had? No. But I would order it again. It was a little bit on the pricier side in my opinion, at least in comparison to Boba Tea and Coffee, but there are more unique tea and food choices available at T4U, which might appeal to anyone reading this who isn't a creature of habit like me. I always order Thai tea, and I think the Thai tea at BTC Cafe is better in terms of taste and price, but I still see myself going here in the future since it's still decent and in a more accessible location, not to mention it's a lot bigger. I read some reviews stating that the customer service was lousy but the staff seemed friendly when I was there. In my experience, rude employees are the result of rude customers. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes milk tea (or tea in general) and especially anyone who likes to be adventurous and try new things. read more

It was joy and a reward to have really good specialty tea drinks available so close to us. Our kids in the Bay Area talk about T4 and happy to hear we have one. Great service. My family and I moved here from the Bay Area and we have been looking for good tea places. I have tried two other places here and T4 Tea For U is the best place to get tea. It's not bitter like the other places and my children also say that it's good. The staff Maya and the manager, Sylvia are very kind and welcoming. They know my order by heart and are very nice people to talk too. The food is great too! The place is very clean and very bright. Customer service is awesome. They get really busy in the hotter days and the lines get long but it's definitely worth the wait...that's why they are so busy. I come here at least twice a week to get my tea fix even though it's out of my way. This place is down right the BEST tea place in Redding. Forget trying or going to the other places...this place is worth the drive. read more

I love the clean and new look of this place. It's definitely a nice and fresh place Redding needs. It deserves 4 stars because of the extensive menu. There's so many drinks to choose from! I got a wintermelon with cream and it was great. You can also tell them how sweet you want the drink which is nice for those who like things less sweet. I saw on several reviews that people experienced bad customer service and I experienced the complete opposite. I thought the girls working were kind and helpful. I got my drink within a couple of minutes too. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is because I think prices are too high for the amount of drink you get. Mine ended up costing $4 for a regular. I've always just use Yelp to find places to eat or whatever. I didn't ever really care to give reviews. But based on T4 inconsistencies I felt like I should give a review. My family and I have been here multiple times. To start off I can say that this T4 is not as good as in the Bay Area or even Sac. You can definitely tell that there is a lack of quality here. Especially in their food and portions. When we first came here there portion and quality was decent. Now I feel like every time we come here the quality and portions get skimpier and skimpier. This last time I went there we ordered two fried calamaris and I'm pretty sure they just made one portion and split it between the two. Because there was barely enough calamari to cover the plates. Other than portion the only thing that is worth eating here is the fried calamari and popcorn chicken. Everything else is lacking and is not worth your money. Customer service here sucks, mainly from the girl staff. The boys are always helpful and friendly. Usually I don't even care for customer service. But they especially suck they seem like they know it all and are snobby. It's Redding most people here don't know about drinks and food like this. Be nice and be helpful. The place though is clean and spacious. They have a wide variety of games which is fun for kids. Overall, I'm sure I'll come back because of my family. I guess we'll all just have to suck up the poor customer service and hope we don't get a cheap cook in the back. read more
