You would never think that you can find authentic Asian food in Redding, but this place was a gem!!! Within the market is a restaurant and they have authentic Thai and Laos food with more choices then some of the ones we have here in Sacramento! The food was excellent. We liked their homemade chili sauce so much that 3 of us bought 2 jars each!!! The market appears to have all your Asian cooking essentials and more! If I am ever in the area, I would definitely make an effort to stop in. If you love Thai and Laos food, I highly recommend this place. Very friendly and helpful service. My only complaint was that the Thai coffee was way too sweet.

This market is a great find for anyone looking for Southeast Asian groceries, especially if you're on the hunt for unique ingredients like green papaya, fresh greens, and non-perishable noodle packages and seasonings. They've got it all, and it's the perfect place to stock up on all your pantry essentials. But what really sets this place apart is the restaurant and grab-and-go food options. From fresh spring rolls to Lao fried egg noodles, and even banana leaf coconut sticky rice, the food here is delicious. We ordered the Thai Boat Noodle, Hmong Tendon Soup, and sampled the Lao Papaya Salad and Beef Laab. The Lao Papaya Salad and Beef Laab were the standout dishes--perfectly flavored and bursting with authentic, vibrant tastes. And, of course, a Thai tea to wash it all down made the experience even better! The service can be a bit sporadic, but the food arrives in a timely manner, so no complaints there. If you're in the area and craving authentic Hmong and Lao/Thai inspired dishes, or just need to grab some Asian groceries, this place is a must-visit.

Great staff. Some food is good. Some food is great. This place serves Thai, Vietnamese, Laotian, and Hmong food so you can't be the best at all of them. The sesame balls and fried pork are great. The pho and papaya salad are good.

Interesting Lao Asian Market/Cafe. Doesn't look like much from the outside. Even the door to enter looks like a back door service entrance. But don't let that stop you from going inside to discover another world of food, sauces, spices and so much more. Their cafe serves authentic Lao food. My favorite are the Papaya Salad (the spicy version is really spiced) and the Lao sausages. Haven't tried everything but working my way there. Cannot find anything this authentic between the Bay Area and Portland.

Best Hmong/Laos food I've found in Redding! I've been searching for good Hmong and Laos in Redding for 2 years so glad I've finally found it. Definitely recommend!!!

I went in for some curry and they told me they were out of rice. Really? There were huge bags of rice right in the store.

Service is very very slow. Waited over an hour to get my food. And it's not even busy. Not eating here again.
