Another great meal at Janyas. We enjoy the service and quality of food. The dining room is open but even full the restaurant is quiet. I had the pork belly buns and Pho. Both were fresh and delicious. All of the plates that came to our table were hot and presented well. According to the others at the table everyone enjoyed their meals and some hade leftovers. Get the pumpkin curry. If I could choose any food in the world to eat right now, I would choose the pumpkin curry. Eating this after a long day at work is so satisfying and therapeutic. Janya's used to be my favorite place in town to get a meal. I was really sad to say though that today's meal was literally a 1-star experience unfortunately - I'm not sure if they changed chefs but they gave me the wrong main dish, made another dish incorrectly, and both appetizer and the eggplant dish were so salty it was difficult to eat while the other dish had absolutely no seasoning whatsoever. The dish featuring crab had literally 3 small pieces of crab; and the dish featuring eggplant had literally 6 small pieces of eggplant! It definitely wasn't worth the cost or aggravation. A bad meal is a bad meal, unfortunately. I hope this was an "off" day but with this many problems in one meal there's probably been a change in culinary staff. The waiter was also new, very nice but didn't know the menu and made mistake after mistake. I hope they will pay attention to keep loyal customers. read more

Stopped by this restaurant for a quick family dinner during our vacation. From the outside, it look like much and the location itself was kind of odd and in the middle of nowhere. The inside of the restaurant was fairly clean but also small. It's quiet. The waiters and staff were very friendly and accommodated our big party. Their pho was actually really good considering it was a thai restaurant. The broth was flavorful and good portion of noodles and meat. Their curry was okay. We ordered take out. We set the time to give us a little extra to stop at another store. It was clear that they didn't wait to cook the food. It was a solid block of noodles. We got Pad Thai, and didn't know that "House Pad Thai" was not normal. It has curry in it and It was inedible! We called and they told us that we ordered house Pad Thai, that it was our mistake and they wouldn't do anything to fix it. We won't be back, ever! Really enjoyed getting lunch here. The service was good but only one person around. We got a lot of food and the portions were quite generous. It was very tasty. They had a good vegetarian option as well. I suggest all vegetarians to pick the vegan options cause they will still add the dish sauce even if it's vegetarian. Placed an order for delivery through Uber Eats and ordered the yellow curry with soft tofu and jasmine rice. I even called the restaurant to ensure it was tofu and it's handwritten on the receipt. Came in on an early Saturday evening for dinner. The restaurant is located in a sleepy shopping center in a sleepy area of town. It's quite small and the tables filled quickly. It's nice and cool inside. There were 2 waitresses with a party going on and service felt delayed. We ordered the spring rolls, chicken pad prig king and beef pad kee mao. I recommend the spring roll appetizer. It was cooked fresh and came with a little side of salad. The pad prig king was also delicious and full of robust flavors. I was worried this dish would be overly sweet like it sometimes can be at other Thai restaurants but it was not. The beef pad kee mao came out overcooked and the noodles had been cooked to bits. There were just a handful of intact noodles in the whole dish, we weren't able to scoop anything up with a fork and tried our best to eat the dish with a spoon. Came in solo on a whim after getting a pedi next door (Beautiful Nails did a beautiful job!). Had a good feeling from the casual vibe and and welcoming staff. Sat down with the menu and had delicious fresh rolls with all the good herbs and crunchy bits, romaine lettuce is always nice. Best of all there are TWO generous portions of delicious sauces! Peanut and a homemade tamarind sauce (I ate both sauces with a spoon when I ran out of rolls). Mango sticky rice was delicious and great portions. Everything on the menu looked appealing and Al the dishes smelled amazing. Place would be great for kids and families, lots of space and some noise wouldn't really matter. Was tidy too. Best Thai food I've had in a while. Restaurant itself is nicely decorated and clean, service was excellent we never had an empty glass of water. The pad Thai sauce was amazing!
